90% payment up front and 70 days to start installation after 5 weeks (no means of bathing) I kicked them off the job after they had turned the water off for three days because of their installation leaking through my hall roof (which they tried to blame on my existing pipework and charge extra for). Three days of unsanitary conditions no flushing loo I couldn't even fill a bucket to throw down it. I now have a plumber reversing their mistakes but because it is all tiled they will have to go up through the hall roof. Here are the mistakes found in a cursory examination: 1. Waste from shower installation dripping through hall roof 2. Cold and hot water supplies inadvertently joined - the cold taps switch the diverter valve in the combination boiler! 3. Shower mixer unit not level 4. When water was turned off the combination boiler was left on but run dry which could have potentially destroyed the combi-boiler which cost £1750 three years ago. After the plumber identified and demonstrated these mistakes I kicked them off the job.
