A great D.I.Y store with lots of parking. This homebase also has an outside garden centre where you can purchase shingle, bark and plants etc. Pretty much anything required for doing up your home can be bought here and not just paints,wallpapers,tools etc - you can also replace crockery,electrical items such as kettles and all utensils. The staff do, on the whole, know where you can find what you are looking for but are not always sure what you need for the job you are embarking on so don't really on them for complete knowledge! I have always found the staff here to be friendly and chatty and have never had a problem returning an item for any reason - whether it did not work or I bought the wrong product - a refund is given without any quibble. There is usually a variety of prices for everything - you can buy the most expensive paint or a budget paint or somewhere inbetween so all budgets are catered for. read more
