I also received several other tree service company suggestions. So, when I needed 3 pines removed from the backyard, I included Spiders among those I contacted regarding the project. After getting 5 estimates, I went with Spiders primarily because of: 1) their excellent references; 2) great reviews on Yelp and elsewhere; as well as 3) their reasonable pricing and comprehensive proposal (some of the other companies would not do stump grinding themselves and I find it a lot easier to deal with one company on any project). The job Spiders did was outstanding. They came in when scheduled and went right to work. Their crew was clearly very experienced and deftly handled the tricky job of carefully removing one of the pines which was only several feet from the house and had a number of large branches overhanging the roof. (One of the guys climbed up the tree then tied up and sawed off each branch, while the other was pulling it off on a rope.) Better yet, they were extremely fast and efficient, cutting up and chipping the debris just as others were taking them down piece-by-piece. The entire job took 1.5 hours from when they pulled up to when they left, which reduced the noise and disturbance time. They also did a thorough clean up and were kind enough to help me by removing some detritus from a previously felled tree. Based on my experience, if you have any tree care issues, I cannot recommend Spiders Tree Care Service more highly!

Refused to get the roof repaired in a timely manner despite inclement weather coming. Owner starts harassing (at 7PM) days me after I left a 3 star review. Failed to complete the project by removing the limbs over my house as stated in the contracted. I was charged over $5000 for perfunctory work ( that ultimately was not completed) and then get harassed when honest reviews are left. This company does not respect the Consumer Review Fairness Act and engages in punitive behavior in an effort to curate 'good' reviews.

Their pricing was clearly the best of several bids. The trees were all in tight quarters and had to be roped out. They were particularly careful protecting certain areas with important plants or smaller trees. There was minimal damage and less than would be expected for a job of this size. The salesman and project manager were often on site during the work, but the 6 man crew was more than capable on their own. They had the necessary equipment to move quickly and efficiently. After the log truck came a few days later they came back to clean up the mess. If you have major tree work to do you should get a proposal from Tree Time before you decide. Came back the next day with the crew. Super efficient. Very respectful and kind. I was obviously upset about the tree and Patricio was amazing. Tree removed carefully and he took photos of the roof for me. The yard was cleaned up and you couldn't tell all that had happened. They put the tarps back up to cover every hole in the roof. Overall, amazing service. Got a quote on some other trees that were making me nervous and was very pleased with the amount. They took those trees down and I recommended them to my neighbor and they taking care of some of his trees. I highly recommend them.

OK, enough of the flowery stuff. There are four members in the crew, and each is skilled in a particular aspect of the field of cutting down trees. I've seen a lot of tree crews, and these guys are top notch. They showed up on time, I had to get the utility company to do a power drop, and then the members swiftly got to work, dropping the trees that could be a problem for my power line first. By noon, those trees were gone, and I called up the power company to say they could reconnect the power, which they did at about 1 PM. (Hidden praise for Walton EMC buried in here. Based on past experience, I wouldn't begin to expect the same level of service from the power company that has the word 'Georgia' in their name. YMMV.) I was so pleased I paid them a bit extra and gave the crew some of my stash of hash. No, that's not quite right. Fudge. Yes, that's it! Fudge, that I had purchased the day before in St. Augustine. I had a total of four trees taken down and absolutely everything was to my satisfaction, a thing that is quite rare these days. There are 3 pictures attached below.
