I rented a spot overnight to rent some skis and it was a great experience. A couple in my group needed to go back and get their license and the company pushed us back without an issue. I recommend making sure you have your license and fill out all the paperwork prior to arriving. It saves a ton of time. Definitely worth it. They brought us out to the bay and let us run free within limits they established. Made sense that day because the wind was making the water pretty rough. Awesome! We had a blast! A few quick tips: Book online. Park in the marina lot and put a quarter in the meter. Head over to H20 and they'll give you a 4 hour parking pass for $4. You'll have time to keep the vehicle parked and grab a bite after the tour. Leave your phone behind; they have secure storage. Tip your guide. We did the tour on a Thursday morning in October. It was my wife and I and another couple. I jokingly told my wife: "I got us a semi private tour!" What we liked about H20 was they had a covered space in the marina. This made filling out paperwork, gearing up, storing your stuff a lot easier. I'm sure you know this by now, but the FLA sun is HOT...even in October. The tour was a blast. We left the marina, went under the causeway bridge and blasted around a few islands. We had time for some free riding mid tour and our guide took pics of us on his phone (he sent them to us right after the tour). On the way back, we went by Clearwater beach. Our guide (William) was awesome! He and I stayed up front and went at a good clip. If the others got a bit behind, he'd do a few circles until they caught up and we were back on the throttles again. They have nice Yamaha machines here. They were all in good shape and well taken care of. Renters were on 1,000cc machines, the guide had the 1,800cc machine. (Wonder if they allow those to be rented? ; ) ) If you are a couple doing this, renting two machines is a good option. It allows everyone to go at their own pace. This was the most fun I have had in a long time. I had never been jet skiing before, so I was nervous that I would not be able to keep up with anyone. The guides, Sal and Brandon, were great at making sure no one got lost. On the way to the open space, I needed help catching up, but then I was fine on the way back. I was pleasantly surprised that they took photos for free. This was a great part of the experience. The jet skis themselves looked new and clean. My life jacket was dry and clean. We had some slower folks on our tour, they made sure that a staff member went their speed - while we could still go high speed. Only negative- my life jacket smelled like mildew and another persons sweat. Things were moving fast to leave so I didn't say anything. But, it was gross. We were first time riders and once out on the ride we were left behind with another first time rider. We almost followed another jetski crew thinking they were with us. On the plus side during free ride (which was 15min, probably due to us finding our way) we got to ride and be around 2-3 different pods of dolphins. They took about a handful of pictures and videos. Everyone at h20 was wonderful from start to finish. It was my first time on a jet ski and they made everyone feel safe and gave clear instructions. They took us on a guided tour for the 1.5 hr rental option. We had probably about 30 mins of free ride time where we were able to ride as we felt comfortable. I think my husband was able to get up to about 45mph, which feels really fast. Although we did not see dolphins, we had a great time and would do this again with h2o if we come back to Clearwater. We had a blast! The 90 minute tour includes going all around the gulf and mangroves, they gave us 30 minutes of free riding time where we got to just play with the jet skis and swim. The tour included a lot of fast twists and turns, super fun!! The staff was awesome, friendly and down to earth. They took pics of everyone while we were out riding, then airdropped them to us when we got back (or they will text to you if you don't have an iPhone). We will definitely be back! read more

I was kind of hesitant at first because of the poor customer service that we received at other Jet ski company couple feet down from them. Had an AWESOME time today celebrating my birthday with my husband out on the water. We drove 3hrs away from Gainesville and unfortunately ran into some crazy traffic. Eff'n A Cotton, bring your balls because this is a balls out tour! These folks do Jet Ski the right way. They're safe, and they know how to have fun. You'll the follow the leader style while going full speed through some beautiful waterways. Then you'll get out into a giant water playground where you can rip and ride until your heart is content. The skis are governed around 50mph which is more than plenty speed to get your kicks. If you have any concerns in going too fast just let them know and you can pull up the rear. They'll hold onto your stuff in a secure locker while you're out. They also make it convenient to tip so don't worry about bringing cash (that green paper money from last century). They'll have one dude riding along snapping phone pics too that'll they'll air drop or email to you. Don't waste your time with other ski companies, seriously this is the way to go and we've tried them all! If you're driving in, parking is a bitch. Plan for that. If you're waking in from the hotels, give yourself time to take the test if your younger than 35. If you're more seasoned like my wife and I, no test so get there and just check in and chill. The crew are cool so hang and talk with them. Lastly, be prepared for a damn good time and don't be surprised if you book another trip right afterwards. read more
