After the insurance settlement check had already been received by the firm, I waited approximately six weeks without receiving my portion of the proceeds or any meaningful explanation for the delay. Eventually, after getting nowhere over the phone, I drove nearly three hours to the office in Glendale to resolve the matter in person. What surprised me was that I wasn't even invited into a private office to discuss confidential legal and financial matters. Instead, conversations took place in a shared hallway/common area of the building, surrounded by unrelated people from other businesses. As a client discussing sensitive information, I found this highly unprofessional and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, after speaking with other attorneys, I became concerned that the amount I received from the settlement may have been significantly less than what I should have been entitled to. This raised serious questions for me regarding transparency and the handling of client funds. Overall, I felt ignored, misled, and disrespected throughout the process. The constitution violated the law when he denied my medical, which was my motion for continuance because I was having emergency surgery to remove, 14 pieces of titanium loose metal hardware that was left in my body by a POS surgeon, who should have his license taken away from him, and he should be locked up for inserting a titanium spacer with sharp edges, which was seen in the imaging that I sent the attorney representative Sara. I explained to her that every court appearance which has been over 20 the judges violated my ADA civil rights by denying the ADA coordinator to come in and speak with me concerning the MC 410 request that I submitted to the court asking for representative since I was confined to my home after having that emergency surgery, the judge denied my medical and my motion for continuance even after having the surgery two days prior to the court hearing this is the second time the judge denied the medical motion for continuance. So when I stated to the judge, so you're going to deny my motion for continuance, but in the process you're going to allow this POS Attorney to file all these motions and since I'm confined to my bed and since I can't answer these emotions, you're going to grant him judgment which is exactly what happened in January, February, March and April when you gave him judgment for an ex parte hearing that I wasn't even aware of. So you've allowed this attorney to commit attorney misconduct since you denied the medical motion for continuance for having this emergency surgery, which you stated and you've allowed this attorney to state that there's not a goddamn thing wrong with me, which is totally a lie. So I also sent the Attorney representative the video of the judge violating my ADA civil rights again except this time it was caught on video. This is the video that I sent to the civil rights department that they're investigating judicial misconduct. So the representative stated that this is a damn good case you have more than enough evidence to prove their civil rights were violated and we can take action against the judge so I told her to send me the papers that way I don't have to answer anymore. Phone calls from other attorneys trying to call me, so she told me that she would send the papers to me and don't answer any phone calls and if they call tell him you're already got help. No word no phone call no nothing so I sent a text. Then I get a reply. oh somebody in the office one of the old attorneys passed away, so she said she would get back with me never heard anything called again got some personal. I don't even know who he was told me that no they're not taking my case and I'm like who are you? Oh I'm Gabriel. I'm like I don't even know who you are Gabriel do you even know who I am he's like I don't even know who you are, my care provider from the state of California who takes care of me since my confinement wheelchair even after having three surgeries she's like well. It's now May 2023 !! Almost 2 full years and my case has not been resolved yet. I've given Mr. Vega numerous chances to rectify his mistakes, and numerous warnings that I will file a complaint with the State Bar of California if he does not do what I paid him to do or at least give me my money back so I can find a lawyer who will.
