I would try and opt for cocktails during happy hour though as they are fairly expensive outside of that at £6.50 each. It does attract a young crowd and if you get easily annoyed by groups of people singing along to cheesy music, it probably isn't the ideal place for you. The dress code is casual, the atmosphere loud, hyper energetic, and in your face, and the drinks will get you in the singing mood in no time. Keep your eye out for the specials board as these will not only be good value for money but you are likely to get them served in record time since it's the bartenders' pick of the day. Don't be shy about belting one out if your favourite tune comes out over the speakers. The music mix may also be up to the barstaff as it can be quite eclectic with Linkin Park smashing out one minute and a softer Beatles ballad the next. I've also got to give credit to the barman for making 24 mojitos in one go to satisfy our pub golf group. I'd recommend buying your bartender a drink or two early on in the night. I've found that no matter when I go or even to which B@1, the bartenders love a good drink and will take care of you if you are willing to include them in a couple of rounds. I've even managed to get jaegerbombs passed over a crowd. So listen when I say - GET YOUR BARTENDER A DRINK! Plus, drunk bartenders are a little more generous with the pouring so really everyone is a winner. Overall, it's a good place to start a fun night out. Only problem is sometimes you just don't want to leave.

He played such great music and created an amazing vibe when we got there. Verbally assaulted by one security and one staff at the entrance…read more When we got first line in the queue, we asked if the security guard had a good night, and he responded by saying "don't look or talk to me". After patiently waiting for 45 minutes at first line in the queue, being quiet as we didn't dare to look or speak to the security guard due to his disrespectful and rude attitude - we finally asked if the two of us could go in as our friends was already inside and waiting for us with drinks. The security guard and one from the staff then gets really, really agressive and starts yelling and cursing at us. The security guard and staff verbally assaulted us whilst we was trying to talk them into sense in a calm and polite way. The entire queue of 15 people ended op leaving due to staff's behaviour and thankfully backed us up. We have never experienced behaviour like this, and would never, ever come back. This has all been video documented.

The music they play differs from night to night, but usually includes the best reggae and a range of rock n' roll. Two tequilas later and you'll settle right in! In a country where binge-drinking is a problem, Suburban displays a funny, apt pro-drinking slogan near their backdoor. You should read it! Cocktail wise I'd recommend the tangy Seabreeze, a cranberry concoction, or the wonderful F.B.I which features coffee liqueur, Bailey's, vodka and ice-cream. Hang around long enough, and you may even be inducted into the Suburban Wall of Fame.

The crowd on a weekend is generally boisterous but good natured. You will find yourself having to shout to whoever you are with, and will probably end up in a human sandwich every time you head to the bar. To be perfectly honest, B@1 lacks a little bit of atmosphere. They focus entirely on lots of cocktails and loud music, so it s a fun venue in Richmond, probably the only one of its kind, but its not a bar that you are going to remember in years to come.

You know what - despite my entire preconception I liked it. It is not a place were locals go out as it is so central in London, but lots of people start their night there for some after work drinks. This is also more the clientele - people in suits and skirts. I ordered a red wine and some olives - but I guess this is more of a cocktail bar. I also did the toilet test - very clean and styled, another factor, which seemed exceptional. If you walk around the corner there will be a different area waiting for you which has even more the glamorous and oriental look - jewels all over!

When my chosen location for our engagement/going away party was booked and my back-up wanted to charge a £1000 minimum, I gave All Bar One a buzz and they both said "yes" and it was all free. Not a private space, but we had the whole back section reserved for our large group (25-40 throughout the night). The service was great - when I emailed with a question/concern a few days before the event I got a call back from the manager who was very helpful and positive. Our only problem on the day was with other customers constantly trying to crash our party/steal our space. My friend had to get a bit rude with a group of 10-15 people who decided that since one 2-top table wasn't currently occupied, they'd come push into the middle of the party with their trays of Jagerbombs. Eesh. But that wasn't AB1's fault. All the staff were kind, the drinks flowed, the food was decent for bar nibbles, and we had a great night.
