Some decisions the plaza have made…read moreI don't agree with, like the weird, weird, entrance, and having only one exit that is impossible to avoid a huge traffic backup on ANY day, but overall it's getting better. First, this plaza used to have a Borders Books, which I really liked, and wished stayed, but that company went out of business, which wasn't the choice of Atlantic Retail, who owns the "Marketplace @ Braintree". Guitar Center isn't really my thing, but I guess it was an ok place to put in the former Borders. Next door to Guitar Center, they have recently added a Five Below (maybe 2-3 years ago). Five Below is probably my favorite store in the plaza, technology, candy, gift supplies, arts & crafts, sports equipment, games, and other great stuff, for all under $5. Next, in the actual plaza there is a Petsmart, Sports Authority, Kmart- which is closing in January, to become a Nordstrom Rack & Saks 5th Ave (good move by Atlantic Retail, that dirty old Kmart needed a lift), ULTA Beauty, Bed Bath & Beyond, Babies R Us, Staples, GameStop, and Best Buy. All of these stores are all fine for the most part, just old, and not as clean or large as other locations in the area (such as BB&B, Best Buy, Petsmart). But overall, the Braintree Marketplace has a lot of good stores and has made this plaza a destination to go to in Braintree. I'm looking forward to Saks 5th Ave & Nordstrom Rack to open (as well as a restaurant). Located off Route 3 (Take Exit 17 for Union Street) on Grossman Drive. 4 stars.

This new management team is completely running the mall into the ground. Kicking out long time…read moretenants to build a "trampoline park" is just so ridiculous and what they're doing to the inside portion is even worse. It looks horrible. Maybe you could've put actual stores that people like going to in there and not destroy the place with some childish play place. Unacceptable

This place calls itself a mall but its an absolute desolate dump of a shell of probably its former…read moreglory. The only thing inside this nasty place is a decrepit nail salon, a run down oriental carpet dealer and the back entrance of Barnes and Noble and Wines and Things. the rest of this mall is either closed or turned into outwardly facing stores like Kohls (largest Kohls I have ever seen) or a run down nasty Petsmart, Barnes and Noble and Party City. Office Max went out of business and some of the other smaller stores are on their last legs. The Taco Bell and Panera in the parking lot are the only busy things bringing traffic to this dump. Horrible and should be shut down.

Decent little plaza in Quincy. Granite Place sits on a good…read moresized parcel of land in between three major roads in the busy city of Quincy, Granite Street, Hannon Parkway, and Burgin Parkway. The plaza has a large parking lot (especially for being in such a city-like area, where I would assume there would be extremely limited amounts of parking), and has a decent variety of stores. It never seems to be overwhelmingly busy, is easy to get in and out of, and even has an adorable, tiny Dunkin Donuts drive thru in the parking lot (might be 20 sq ft in size.... if that). While it did lose Party City recently (which opened in a different spot), it gained Dollar Tree, which is a one hundred percent benefit in my opinion! Some of the storefronts throughout this shopping center include Olympia Sports, Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx, Papa Gino's, DressBarn, Boston Market, and Burger King. For Quincy residents, this area is thriving since the city is large and throughout this is one of the largest shopping centers around. Decent spot to shop in the Quincy area, and convenient being near two grocery stores, Lowe's, Home Depot, BJ's and other retailers. Pharmacy across the street too. May not be the newest or nicest, but the setup works for the shape of this site. Access points are on Hannon Parkway and Granite Street. 4 stars for Granite Place.

Pretty nice open air shopping mall for the area…read more It's nice that they now have a parking garage, since surface parking can be hard to find in the (weekend) afternoons. It gets crowded on the weekends, so give yourself extra time to find parking and exit.

It's right off I-95 with crystal clear signage to get you there quickly. They offer free parking in a huge multi-level parking lot. There are over 80 tenants, a real bounty of clothing and fashion, bars and restaurants, beauty and wellness vendors, specialty stores like Apple and Warby Parker, and amusements like a paint bar, escape room and a movie theater. We spent a few hours here with our grandchildren, enjoyed a great lunch at Legal Seafoods, grabbed drinks at the J.P. Licks ice cream emporium, and went shopping at the Paper Source. We were very impressed with our visit.

Absolutely refuse to drive into this monstrous array of shops. People backing up without looking,…read morepeople almost getting hit by cars that are walking in appropriate spaces, people cutting each other off, etc. Also have noticed that the majority of the stores have prices that are much higher than the same stores in different towns. If your claustrophobic or fear a car accident or getting hit by a car, I would stay away from this place.

A stroll around the large parking lot is a good way to see what stores are here and browse in each for something to purchase and bring home. The Whole Foods Market is definitely a huge treat for me to walk around then hit it last to find something to cook or snack or enjoy their most tastefully and expertly decorated baked items along with lots of breads to choose from. So Derby Street Shops is like a one stop shopping place. I like that and go home with everything I needed and wanted.

One of the stores you will find here is a Burlington Coat Factory which is a great department store to shop in and there is also a liquor store here as well. There is also a cosmetology school in the strip mall and if you are a gym goer there is also a gym. If you are looking to eat in a restaurant there is an IHOP location here to dine in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Off to the side there is a Montilio's bakery with plenty of goodies for sale. You'll find pretty reasonable prices as far as the shopping and dining goes at this shopping center. The parking spots are very numerous here with all of the parking spaces clearly marked. The parking lot is very clean and well maintained. So whoever cleans this parking lot is doing their job well. It is always a pleasure to visit this shopping center.

Roche Brothers, Dollar Tree, CVS/Pharmacy, UPS Store, Nails, Kozol Vision Center, and others. Also includes AT&T and Dunkin Donuts in another part of the strip mall, and if you can figure out how the drive thru works for that Dunkin Donuts, you've either lived in the area or are genius...... so annoying to drive around the lot twice! 4 stars.
