I want to preface this review by noting that I was the Maid of Honor. On the day of the wedding, Hailey arrived on time and immediately got to work. She was helpful in many ways--assisting with the bride's veil, managing small stains, and providing cosmetic touch-ups throughout the day. She was attentive, present, and brought a positive energy that was appreciated by the entire bridal party. I interacted with her multiple times and was impressed with her professionalism and knowledge in the moment. However, the experience following the wedding has been nothing but disappointing. The wedding took place May 31st 2025 and the bride received 25 photos within 24 hours. Unfortunately, some of the photos featured unflattering angles of the bridal party. I understand that group photos can be challenging, but many of the poses and facial expressions seemed awkward or poorly timed. According to Hailey's website, her typical turnaround time is 1-6 weeks. It seems quick for a large event but that was the only thing regarding timeline as her contract didn't have one. On June 27th 2025 the bride reached out and asked about the status of the photos. She emphasized that there was no rush, just curiosity. Hailey did not respond. The bride followed up again on June 30th 2025 to confirm whether her previous message had been received. Hailey replied then that same day, stating the photos would be ready in two weeks (by July 14th). The date of the promised photos came and went, no communication from Hailey. When the bride still hadn't received anything by July 29th (a week and a half since the promised photos, 8 weeks since the wedding) she reached out once more to Hailey. Again, no response. The bride reached out to me in frustration and anxiety due to the lack of communication. Knowing that Hailey is active daily on Instagram (posting stories, reels, and content). I decided to leave a public comment on one of her posts to draw attention to the situation. It was disheartening to see such poor communication from someone who clearly has time for a strong social media presence. My comment on August 1st 2025"You've left a bride on read multiple times. Going past your 1-6 week turnaround by 3 weeks with poor communication. You said 2 weeks from June 30th and nothing. I get being busy, but the poor communication and lack of timeline is beyond unacceptable. Do better." Within an hour after my comment was posted, Hailey responded to the bride via text, and deleted my comment. This is what Hailey said. "Hi! Yes, you'll be receiving your images this week. I kindly ask that you/your friends refrain from leaving comments on my social media suggesting I've ignored your messages or need to 'do better.' I always strive to communicate clearly and deliver quality work, and I appreciate your patience and understanding." To me, this response felt inappropriate given the situation. The bride wasn't patient or understanding at this point, she was left in the dark, and her response felt dismissive to me and bride. There was no empathy to the situation at all. I understand that busy seasons can cause delays, but transparency and consistent communication should be a standard for a professional business. Especially for such a significant life event! On August 19th 2025 (11 weeks since the wedding, a week and a half since the SECOND promised deadline) the bride reached out asking one more time when the photos would be received. Hailey then responded saying the gallery had been delievered 2 weeks prior to the brides email. The bride didn't receive anything, on her email that was on Hailey's file that had received emails from her previously. With the issues in communication and Hailey's promises that communication is important to her, it was incredible that no confirmation from Hailey was sent when the photos were supposedly uploaded. Hailey said that because the 2 weeks had past she would have to reload the photos. So the bride received the full gallery the next day. In simple terms, the gallery was disappointing. I would not recommend Hailey. She lacks communication and was so wrapped up in the instagram comment I had made. Instead of acknowledging her inconsistency with communication she kept insisting that we can't comment any negative reviews because it's bad for her business. Hailey kept reiterating that the comments posted on her social media were defamatory and to remove them, as a business owner she should be able to accept criticism from clients. Her focus was always centered around commentary rather than the clients satisfaction. Run a better business Hailey and don't promise deadlines you can't deliver on. read more

I booked Hailey as our wedding photographer. From the start, she was polite, professional, and quick to respond to all of my questions. I appreciated her fast replies and booked her largest package with confidence. On the wedding day, Hailey arrived on time and immediately got to work. She was easy to work with, accommodating, and even followed us bar hopping after the ceremony without charging extra. She went above and beyond at times -- even helping to get stains out of my dress. Throughout the day, she stayed focused and reassured us that things were going well, even telling me she had never taken so many photos at a wedding before. That got us excited to see the results. She even stayed an hour past her contracted time at no extra charge. That night, she sent us about 15 preview photos. Unfortunately, things changed after the wedding. A month went by with no updates or delivery of the full gallery. I reached out to check on the status and didn't receive a response. After following up again a few days later, she replied, promising delivery in two weeks. I appreciated the update -- but the two weeks passed with no photos and no communication. I waited patiently, still hoping she'd follow up, but she didn't. At the two-month mark, I reached out again. This time, it took four days to hear back, and only after my maid of honor commented publicly on Hailey's social media about the lack of response. Hailey messaged me shortly after -- not to address the issue directly, but to ask that we refrain from commenting on her posts. She claimed to value open communication, which felt ironic considering the ongoing delays and lack of proactive updates. Hailey stated then I would be receiving the photos that week. At the 2.5-month mark, I reached out yet again asking about the photos. My message was ignored. A week later, I followed up with a long message explaining how disappointed I was with the experience so far. This time she responded quickly, saying the photos had actually been sent two weeks earlier, but I had not received them and couldn't find any record of them being sent. She said she would re-upload everything, which I didn't have an issue with, but what frustrated me was that I had texted her a week earlier asking for an update and she ignored it. If she had truly sent the gallery already, why not mention that then? Her post-event communication was disappointing . Once payment was received and the event was over, it felt like we were no longer a priority. Book with Hailey at your own discretion. Personally, I would not book her again, and many of our guests who witnessed the follow-up issues have said the same. read more

| Completely unprofessional and unreliable--do not recommend Hailey Miller Photography We used Hailey for our first baby's birth photos in 2024 and had a good experience, which makes how we were treated this time around even more disappointing. Her business has completely gone downhill. Despite charging us double what she did two years ago ($2,000), she failed to show up for a single scheduled milestone and has completely ghosted us. The Maternity Shoot: Our shoot was scheduled for the week of May 19th. After dodging multiple confirmation messages, she rescheduled for May 25th. An hour before the shoot, she messaged saying she "overdid it" on her birthday weekend and sent a backup. The replacement explicitly introduced herself as a hobbyist/beginner. Hailey promised our full gallery in "about a week." It has now been 6 weeks, and despite multiple broken promises that they would be ready "by Monday," we have not received a single photo. The Birth: Because Hailey moved out of state, she explicitly promised she would travel back, stay with family, and be fully available around our June 19th due date. However, she double-booked herself. When I went into active labor on June 24th, we gave her a heads-up at 5:00 PM. When labor progressed quickly at 8:00 PM, my partner called her repeatedly. She ignored the calls, calling back 45 minutes later claiming she was "in a meeting"--which is completely unacceptable for a paid on-call birth photographer. The backup she sent arrived well after our baby was already born. This person was clearly inexperienced, kept checking her watch, and put the burden on me--immediately postpartum--to direct her on what shots to take. She was in such a rush to leave her shift that she even forgot her camera equipment at our house and had to come back for it. We have not seen a single photo from the birth either. The Aftermath: I reached out to Hailey personally days ago to find a resolution, and she has completely ignored me. We also pre-paid for two additional upcoming photo shoots that we obviously will not be doing. Hailey took $2,000 from our family, did zero of the actual work herself, and has left us with absolutely nothing to show for it.
