Absolutely the worst haircut experience of my life. I asked for 2cm off, but instead the lady misunderstood me and proceeded to give me a buzz cut using a number 2 blade. Misunderstandings are forgivable, but when I pointed out that this wasn't what I wanted, she was so nonchalant about it to the point it was rude. She didn't care. She even seemed frustrated when I asked her to try to blend in the shorter parts with the rest, as if it was my fault for misguiding her. The haircut was over in 3 minutes, and when I went to pay at the cashier, they told me it was $15 instead of the advertised $10. She says $10 for buzzcuts, $15 for haircuts. Sure enough it says "Men's cut from $10" on the banner (note the font used for "from" was minuscule compared to the rest of the text) but I believe the employee has the obligation to inform the customer of the price of the cut before the treatment, especially given the absence of any signs informing customers of the different price categories anywhere in or outside the store.
A simple "it will cost you $15 since it's a haircut, not a buzzcut" BEFORE the cut would have sufficed - I would have gladly paid the $15 despite the atrocious mess she ended up creating on my head.
All in all, I think it was the attitude of the staff that let me down. From the actual treatment of customer during the haircut, to the unprofessional handling of my level-headed complaint when I explained my frustration about the misleading advertisement, they were simply rude.
I would give 0 stars if I had the option to. read more
