Today I came in for color touch up roots and to color the grey before the holidays! Lily the owner was in and it was my first time meeting her! I love that she planned for the holiday!!! They are open early this week and she has three times the helpShe was very welcoming and wanted to ensure you feel welcome! I was offered coffee, hot chocolate and a treat! I grabbed the coffee and caffeine! Lol passed on the treat until later as got to watch the calories before Thanksgiving! I love that I was put under the dryer to help my color seal! That is not often what they do!! Then I love that they put a second layer on to ensure it was sealed! This is the first time anyone ever did that and this is going to separate them from everyone else moving forward! I'm excited. However, I was desperately in need of a salon that accepted walk-ins and was accessible for disabled customers, so I decided to give them a try. I am very glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and asked what services I wanted. I requested a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and a trim. I was taken right away for my shampoo and deep conditioner. Another stylist set my hair on rollers, and once I was finished under the dryer, another stylist promptly began styling my hair. The entire process was efficient, and all of the stylists I interacted with were friendly, patient, and accommodating. As someone with a disability, I especially appreciated the kindness and patience they showed me. Unfortunately, that is not always the experience disabled customers receive, so their attentiveness meant a great deal. My only minor concern was that during the deep conditioning treatment, I was not initially offered a towel to protect my clothing. I did ask for one because I did not want my shirt to get wet, and it was provided. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and the professionalism of the staff. My experience was positive, and I plan to return in the future.

So much so, we drive 45 minutes to get to her. My wife then decided to knock out two cuts, with one drive so to speak. She signed me up for a haircut at the same time as hers. My uncle & aunt owned a beauty salon for more than 55 years. He was still running and training ppl in his 80's. I used to work there in high school for a few extra dollars cleaning up, or being a hair model. So, I am a bit familiar with it. My uncle used my model cuts to properly train his stylists in how to use clippers, which size combs to use, how to not curve to the crown, placement of dryer cord, clipper cords, proper seat height for the stylist for best angles on the customer, etc... Haley does really great work. She is precise on her lines, knows how to do a clipper cut properly, and actually listens to the customer when they tell her what and how they want it cut, with what guards, etc. No sass like I constantly heard at other places. Are you sure you want to go that low, are you sure you want to leave a line instead of blending it? More importantly, Haley goes the extra mile. She hits the stray hairs on the ears, trims eye brows, hits the temple hair lines properly, goes lower on the neck. Give her a try, and you wont regret it.

I arrived at my appointment 30-40 min late due to really bad traffic. She could have cancelled my appointment, but she didn't. On top of that, when I booked my appointment, I thought what I selected included and wash and blow dry (which it did not), she explained to me that when I booked my online appointment, I selected "box braids" which are not the same at knotless (which is what I wanted). I immediately told her I did not know the difference (as this was my first time getting braids). She explained to me the difference, and that the knotless braids required more prep work, and take longer. I felt so bad! She spent about 30 min separating hair, and then another 30 washing and blow drying. She was the sweetest young lady. The fact that she was willing to accommodate my mistake really touched my heart. And on top of that, she did an AMAZING job. I originally tried to get an appointment at Fatima Braiding Studio, but their customer service was so horrible, I had to look elsewhere, and I came across Bintu Parlor, and I will not only be returning, but I will be recommending her to everyone I know. I was afraid my head would hurt during and after the braiding process, but It was actually so relaxing I was falling asleep. And besides that, her curls are the absolute BEST!! i have been blessed to find Bezirk Beauty where the vibe is phenomenal. Bee has truly been a godsend
