He even still remember me even if i went there a year ago. i left feeling so happy with the results! he knows what i want but also understand what my hair exactly needs. his assistant T or Thai (not sure the name) also very nice & polite. he's the one who blow style my hair. both first & second time i am a stastified customer.

My request was simple: CHUNKY balayage. CHUNKYYYY. I had pictures to show what I wanted. Mostly warm highlights with some cool sprinkled in. I also asked to add texture to my hair but keep the length (it was below my bra line). Nope... goodbye 6 inches I didn't ask to lose (now it's just below my shoulders). I had THICK voluminous hair, and now it's like I have the Rachel haircut. They foiled my hair to death and I ended up almost platinum blonde when the foils came out, and then to add insult to injury, you could clearly see the lines where the highlights began where it looks almost burnt at the edges?? We went back in for another TWO hours to make it warmer, but by that time my hair was fried, and now I have a bald spot I didn't have before. He offered to fix it in another few weeks after my hair has had time to settle, but I'm never letting anyone there touch my head again. I'm too nice of a person and still managed to crack a semi smile when it was finally done, but now I'm left with tears and silent screaming to hold back my utter horror at what they left me with. If you didn't get the memo: I don't recommend them. Even after everything, he still had the audacity to charge me $250 (discounted) and said I didn't need to leave a tip. Umm, thanks? God only knows how long this is going to take to fix... Should've gone to Fluff Bar. Thanh, you should've comp'd it and ask I not leave a bad review, which I totally would've said yes to not doing. Lesson learned? Was the juice really worth the squeeze? Looks like I'm not the only one who's had this happen to them? Ladies or gents: If you want balayage or any kind of coloring service, do NOT go here. This is NOT their specialty. Run. UPDATE: Went to a highly reviewed salon a few days after my visit with Vo where I had two pros look at my hair to assess the situation (and probability of me somehow getting what I originally wanted), and both agreed that what Vo did to my hair was "pretty bad" and unprofessional. All I heard, as they were slowly combing and lifting through my hair, were soft whispers and gasps of horror with the occasional, "Girl look at this... omg..." After hearing what they could do to fix the mess Vo left me with (weeks of painstaking piece meal work and god-knows-how-much-money) I ultimately decided to have them take me back to my original brown so I could start over from square one. THAT'S how bad it was. All that time and money just to go back to brown and have my hair be short and thin instead of long and thick. God I could scream. I appreciate you offering to fix the mess you left me with, Thanh, but no thanks. I would much rather you spend the time you would've taken on fixing my hair to spending it on some coloring courses instead. Just because you own a salon doesn't mean you've mastered the art of hair. The other guy whom you trained on the fly with me has a lot of learning to do also. I could tell he didn't know what he was doing and yet you still let him touch my hair while you juggled two other clients. Unacceptable service. On top of that, neither you or the other guy ever made small talk with me, which I've never experienced at a salon in all my life. Like, not a single word or question about my day or even my name. Even if you guys had done a great job, I still wouldn't have come back due to that alone. K I'm done. Lesson learned I hope. Best of luck to you.

I've been to both their…read moreDenver and Boulder locations and have seen LJ, Hannah Evans, and Amy Kidd and all three have been amazing! The pic below is from my most recent visit at the Denver location in April where I saw Hannah for a partial balayage. Hannah did a great job brightening up my blonde while also understanding that I didn't want too much maintenance (I like to touch up my roots every 3-4 months). My face framing in the front is a lot lighter as well! The balayage here is amazing and is REAL balayage not the fake "foilayage" most salons do where they try to sneak in foils which ends up in really harsh lines when your roots grow out. I won't let anyone else touch my hair except for the women at this salon. That being said, I'd recommend bringing in photos of what you want or taking a look at the stylists Instagrams beforehand. Color at Sweep tends to be on the more natural side so if you want a drastic change be sure to make it known and expect the prices to reflect that. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. The salon interior has a great relaxing vibe with complimentary drinks (have to try the oat milk latte).

I have been on a search for my hair person for 12 years now after my hairdresser moved away and finally found her! Vera is a wizard. She truly listens and asks a ton of questions to fully understand what you really want. Then time for delivery... She is a master at cut and color. My hair came out so beautiful, with the perfect blonde highlights and it's super easy to style. It's so natural looking you can't even tell where the balayage begins. It looks sun-kissed. I am getting constantly get compliments and feel like I have movie star hair, even when I style it myself! I'm sure the other hairdressers there are awesome too but I can't speak highly enough about Vera! Just go see her and you can thank me later.

I came home and to my disbelief, an entire section of my head was missed. It was also not highlighted and was in very large yellow chunks. I felt like Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmatians. I called back and they told me I could "come back in a few days" to get "an extra foil" to even it out and that I should "part my hair another way" to fix it. I went to another salon the next day and they were in disbelief that this was the result of an appointment at Allure 24 hours prior. In order to fix this job, I paid another $200 at another salon and have to go back again in 4 weeks for another touchup. I was not offered any apology, my emails to Allure have been ignored and no refund was offered. No one has called me to apologize or fix this either. The first photo was taken at home within 2 hours of my appointment and the next were taken by another hair stylist at another business. The other hair salon told me I was not overreacting and I should get my money back as well. Update 6/19/23: They claimed that I suddenly decided to part my hair on the side for the first time in 30 years. They also claimed to have responded to my emails days ago when I didn't get an email until several hours ago today. They also questioned when the photos were taken, which is insanity. I have the time stamps because smart phones provide those when photos are taken. Completely rude, dismissive and unprofessional!
