Have to say it was very comforting and I had some small talk with Ed. He prefers cantonese and asked where I found out about the Salon, to which I responded with Yelp. After the wash, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he quickly went over the specifics of the hairstyle. He mentioned my hair wasn't long enough, but he'll try to get it as close to possible and if I come back next time, he'll be able to achieve the result I desired. Nevertheless, the haircut turned out great and he was very patient. It didn't feel rushed like cheaper salons do, he took his time to cut, look at what he did, and adjust. I was terrified when I came out of the salon like that. Not only did I waste my money but my hair was so damaged. I came across Melissa'a instagram page and emailed her right away to see if she could fix it. She provided my with multiple options and I decided to go back to dark to put my hair to rest. Not only did Melissa achieve that but my hair has been healthier even with the toner and dye that she put in my hair on top of what it was before. It started with a shampoo, accompanied by a nice head massage which is just what I needed. She made sure to double check that I still wanted the same length cut and asked about how much maintenance I wanted to do which was extremely low. She was quick and did exactly what I requested without going too short. She always asked how you felt and she was super friendly. Appreciated them being able to fit my in last minute, and she finished off the cut by styling my hair with some beautiful curls. I definitely would go back as I had such a great experience. Cost for a junior stylist is $75 and senior stylist was $95.
