I just moved here and needed a new hair dresser. I lucked out.... Jenelle was so personable, super sweet, doesn't over talk just genuine. I was given a condescending look and asked what a buzz cut was (seemed like a reasonable term, given that it was a hair salon). I explained and she told me then that she knew what a buzz cut was. The negative attitude seemed unnecessary but it reminded me that I would prefer to support other businesses on the island that appreciate my patronage and are willing to show basic courtesy. Like my barbershop to be lively with good conversation and a quality haircut. Well this place did not meet up to my needs. Two barbers in this location. The barber that did my haircut did not talk, strike one. My chair was turned away from the mirror so I could not see the haircut as it progressed, strike two and after the cut was done there was no check in with me to see if I was satisfied, strike three. Paid my 15 gave a $5 tip and I was out the door.. I will not be returning to the silence of this barbershop. The haircut itself was okay but I have expectations which I will try to fulfill at the next barbershop I visit.

There is one station available for manicures & pedicures. The salon is somewhat small and almost cramped, should they grow any larger. Its clean and organized as well as space permits. It seems that each stylist is responsible for greeting their own clients. Walk in guests may be overlooked in less you get the attention of stylist nearby. The front area has seating & look books available also, They have several styles & colors of wigs available. Occasionally there are gift boxes & products placed for purchase. These stylists seem to have various hours & appear to work only by appointment.

Grace was awesome, I explained exactly what I wanted done, she asked lots of questions and the result...I love my hair!! The shop is nice and usually packed to the gills, yet Betty always takes the time to make me feel like I'm her only customer.
