I usually just get a wash, trim and styled, but in 2004 I got my hair thermal straightened there. Debbie did a great job straightening my hair. It was quite the process and took like 5 hours. Kathy also does my brows for just $10 extra. My boyfriend is from CA and Kathy also cuts his hair regularly. She is our favorite. He always comes home looking great, and he always says what a great job she does. They are not expensive either. And they also offer lots of other services, like manicures. One eyebrow was waxed a considerable amount more than the other. Good thing I have thick eyebrows and was able to sort of cover up the lack of eyebrow on the one over waxed eye. Also usually after a wax, they are supposed to trim the eyebrow and tweeze any leftover brows. They did not do this. I felt like they tried to do the job as quickly as possible and didn't take their time. At least that's what I hope it was, because if this is a regular way of waxing, then I would not recommend going to this place.

My thoughts was she may rush my appointment because now she's running late possibly for her next appt.? Not a comforting feeling being a new client. It's too bad, the other stylist in the salon seemed very pleasant. They came right out to greet their clients and escorted them to their salon chairs for their hair appointments on arrival.
