I have been going to Grace for my hair since she was just in school but she always does an amazing job! I have been dying my hair red for almost 3 years now and kind of just let Grace mix something a little different up each time. She always kills it and never fails to make a color I'm in love with. She also nails the cut and I am so happy with the layers she added to my hair. I couldn't recommend coming to see her more. read more

8/17/2023 3:30 PM I am so disappointed!! For 10 years, I had been a client of this place. Hann was my stylist, and I was so happy with her service. She knows that I like my hair layered and she always did great haircuts! Today, unfortunately, Hann was busy, and I was assigned to a new blond girl, who never introduced herself, who did an uwful job and she also charged me $40.00 (Fourty dollars) just for ruined my day! I told this new girl that I wanted my hair layered. So, she was just cutting the ends of my hair. I asked her why she was doing that, and she said, "Just to make it all even,"... and after 10 minutes, she told me that she finished "making it all even," and she was done cutting my hair! I couldn't believe it!! SHE DID AN AWFUL JOB! OBVIOUSLY, she is not a hairdresser at all! This was the worst haircut I ever had!! The new "blond girl" just combed my hair and cut only 1 mm of my hair and charged me $40.00!? Unbelievable! The worst thing was that she still charged me $40.00... Forty dollars for supposedly a haircut! I could happily pay that if they could do a good job, but it was totally a disaster! I just wasted my time, and obviously my money too! My 13yo son wanted to try a perm for his first time and Ashley (my hairstylist, who we adore!) told us that Tori was our girl. My 16yo offered to take him to his appointment and they were treated with professional kindness and not like two kids without their mother. My son was so nervous going into this but was thrilled with the result and how much he enjoyed his time there. His smile says it all! Had a great experience here today. Got my hair cut and my nails done for my upcoming wedding. The haircut is exactly what I wanted and the stylist, Kate, was friendly and clearly very skilled. My hair is thin and she was able to actually give it volume which I greatly appreciated. She even cut my bangs the way I prefer with just a brief description of what I wanted. I had my nails done with Elaine, which included a full set and a gel pedicure. I LOVE the way they turned out! She was super patient with me as I was pretty indecisive about what I wanted but knew exactly what I didn't want. She really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the result and Im so grateful for her. I'd highly recommend this place. I'm so glad I made the decision to come here! My stylist was Ly and she was amazing. My goal was to go back to my natural hair color as closely as possible and she nailed it. It took two sessions- almost 7 and a half hours total. The entire time Ly was accommodating and attentive to how I was doing. One thing I loved was that she was detailed in explaining how the process was going to be, so I knew exactly what was happening. My hair is still so healthy and soft! This salon is really good, no complaints. The hairstylists are all very kind, mindful, and professional. I forget the name of the young woman who had cut my hair and did my eyebrows (I believe it was Ashley). However, she did a fantastic job. She was very thoughtful and made sure that she was doing everything the way I wanted it to be done. I have been getting my hair done here by Whitney for about a year now. Everyone is so friendly. I'm a salon, to me, friendliness matters. I came in with dark brown and lots of gray around my face. Over a couple visits I was able to go to a really nice natural looking blond. My many grays are now covered and have been for a few months now. Whitney is really awesome to have as my hair stylist. Hanh is AMAZING! I came to Hair Elegance because I wanted to get a haircut that would frame my face more and I needed a hair stylist who knew how to cut asian hair. After showing Hanh a picture of the type of haircut I wanted, she listened, and did exactly what I wanted. Hanh really exceeded my expectations. What I really liked is that she kept in mind that we as females do wear our hair up sometimes so she made sure that the layers were just perfect and would all fit into a pony tail. That extra attention to detail is EVERYTHING. On top of that, she is SO nice! We had a very nice conversation during my cut and after it felt like I've known her forever when we just met. I've known for years my hair is kind of a nightmare to cut (my mom was a stylist, too - so whoever cuts my hair has to measure up to a high standard) and Ashley listened to what I said and made sure we wound up with a flattering cut that navigated those pitfalls perfectly, I was a walk-in today, but I'll be back with an appointment as a regular in the future. read more

This is the worst haircut I have ever received. Before the cut, the hairstylist actually did a great job clarifying what was needed. I specified that I wanted some layers added, my face framed and a trim (she indicated that I needed about 3 or 4 inches off). By the end of the cut, 7 inches of my hair was gone. My layers are completely uneven. They are inconsistent as parts of my hair have absolutely none and they are not blended AT ALL. To top it off, there is a total lack of framing and my actual cut is uneven. It's clear that my hair stylist either didn't care at all or is incredibly fresh. I don't even know if it's worth it to go back and try to get my hair fixed through them. Honestly, you are better off going to great clips. read more

I will not be coming back to this place. I went in to have my nails filled and gel polish. The cost to get that done was $55.00 and I had a $20.00 gift card. The color is very pretty, but the tech didn't do a good job on the edges; I have white tips showing on the sides on just about every nail and she messed up on one nail and instead of fixing it, she filed it and didn't put any new nail polish on it again. That nail is rough and missing polish where she messed up. I have better technicians at the nail school that is just learning than what I got here. I was looking for a great stylist who will be able to transform my thick curly hair, I called Lee and she did just that! She was amazing! She walked me through the entire way, made sure I knew exactly what she was doing each time, and then was able to transform my dark black hair to a beautiful all over highlight! I came in because I read the great reviews on yelp, but I am very disappointed. My hair did not come out at all as expected. I showed a picture on the hair color I desired, instead of getting an ombre I desired, I got Kool-Aid red roots for $217!!!! I feel money-raped for sure. All that was done was he put red die on my roots and to charged me an arm & a leg, I feel depressed afterwards. I told the hairstylist that I needed to be conservative with my hair since I work as a professional. I am so disappointment. read more
