I met with Sarah, my stylist, and showed her pictures of what I was looking to do. We discussed some things about my hair vs what we see in the pics. She was wonderful! We chatted the whole time. The vibe was great. So laid back while being absolutely professional. Then once she had blown dry my hair, she taught me the easiest technique on how to style it the way I want to. I've been getting my lashes permed and extensions from Anna Marie for months now and EVERY time I get a lift, they end up totally kinked and she only found out this last time that she had been putting the perming solution on for 13 minutes LONGER than she should have for sparse lashes. Is she even licensed? She was googling how long to use the solution. I blame her for my loss of lashes which is funny because she blamed me. As for the extensions, she gives me something TOTALLY different every time I go. I always ask for and want the same thing and the first time I saw her I received it but then the next time she gave me the opposite of what I wanted and then the time after that she gave me 10 pound lashes because she just keeps overcorrecting the mistakes she made last time. Totally inconsistent. This last time I went, I finally voiced my concern because I could barely see through the mountain of lashes she gave me but she said I will get used to them. I went downstairs to pay, DID NOT say anything bad about her. I said that she did a good job and the lashes are done well but there's so many and theyre so long and I asked the other girls if I looked crazy or if it was okay. Then I try to rebook to give her another chance and for one theyre out of the perming solution for a month now and two she wouldn't take me again. They are all upstairs talking crap about other clients as well. Either that or the 19 year olds that do hair are all talking about getting trashed and getting $20 lip injections over the weekend. Also had a young girl that looked high in a hoodie do my nails and only booked 45 minutes for tips and dip so she ran out of time and told me to finish them somewhere else. My sister also got horribly ugly "French tip" from them that was sloppy and a gross shade of pink for some reason. Bottom line is this place is totally unprofessional and does not care about their clients at all. You're on their time and if you don't like what they give you, you're gone. Never ever would I recommend this place for anything.

The following is the conversation I had between the stylist and myself through the salon's Facebook…read morepage.... "I just had my roots touched up Wednesday morning at 10am. I have been blonde for many years and I have never left a salon with my hair looking this bad. I live very close and returned immediately to ask the stylist if she thought this was acceptable. Unfortunately her response was very careless and she showed no concern. I don't know how a professional can let a customer pay $100 for this and let her leave in tears. I'm not sure what to do and I fear any further effort to fix the horrible job done on my fragile hair will damage it much more. I made the stylist very aware of my initial concern for my hair "burning" off and after the fact her response was a snarky "well you knew that would happen" I don't find this funny at all and it was DEFINITELY NOT worth the $100 I paid." This was the reply I received from the stylist... "Kelly, I am truly sorry that I did not get the back of your hair light enough. I offered to fix it and you refused, saying I ruined your hair on purpose because of some lady that I have never even met. Clearly, I didn't want to ruin you hair and that is why I spent hours conditioning it and didn't bleach it to the point of white and breaking. Obviously, I haven't been doing hair in a small town for 15 years and ruining hair because of who knows who. I have consulted with my boss and have determined that this is my fault for not going with my gut instinct and refusing to touch hair that has long been beyond repair. I really only accepted you bc you were a "friend" of a friend. Acquaintances getting me in trouble again! From the time you sat in my chair you looked for a reason to get your hair done for free. So, I will eat the hours of work and cost of the product and money spent on my chair rent and babysitters and time spent away from my children to try to please you, when no way in Hell would I ever have accomplished that goal! However, you have taught me a priceless valuable life lesson. I will issue you a full refund of $100. Please give me your address and who the check should be made out to." Here are several points I want to make... 1. I NEVER demanded my money back, but since she offered and with her unprofessional attitude, I believe I deserve a refund. 2. While she was doing my hair, it was discovered she's an acquaintance of my ex husbands wife (who would get a great laugh out of this) and upon my return to the salon I said while I was justifiably upset "maybe you did this because you're friends with *%$#*..." 3. How did she NOT see what she did to my hair when she rinsed and dried me???? 4. She wasn't doing me a favor. She was referred to me by a friend and I was a paying customer. I received no discount and never mentioned money until I was very upset by her blatant disregard for the quality of her work. Even then I didn't demand a refund. I wanted my hair to be fixed but not by someone who clearly doesn't care how she treats a customer and let's her leave with her hair looking horrible. 5. According to her "from the time you sat down in my chair you looked for a reason to get your hair done for free" COMPLETELY FALSE. If that's the case why did she chat with me for hours?? She met with me Friday the 11th, looked at my hair then and talked about how she could do it, no problem. So when did her "gut instinct" kick in? After I complained??? I can't find ONE PERSON who wouldn't complain about what she did to my hair. 6. SHAME ON HER! This is how you treat a customer?? What did I do wrong to her??? Seriously, I had every reason to be upset with how my hair looked. Unfortunately she sunk to a level of unprofessional immaturity and decided to insult me, blame me, and accuse me of trying to get something for free....all because I pointed out her mistake. 7. It's my fault you choose a career where you have to spend time away from your children and pay a babysitter? How is that relevant to my ROOTS BEING ORANGE???? Your career choice and family life has nothing to do with me coming to you to get my hair done. I have never encountered a salon "professional" so rude, immature, inappropriate and unprofessional.
