It's been over a decade since I had my hair cut and professionally colored because I was told…read morepreviously that they didn't know what to do with my hair and just cut my bangs. I had a lot of hair loss after my last pregnancy and so this was incredibly disheartening and made me fearful of being turned away again. Well, after a lot of encouragement from my husband to try again I tried Bliss. My stylist was Melissa and she was absolutely great, she was upset that no one wanted to cut my hair in town and took care of me. She made suggestions to help me make a good decision on my cut and color and what she would recommend for my future hair. I am incredibly grateful and will follow her advice. Thank you so much!

The faster they work, the faster they get on to the next person. So you feel very rushed! And many of these type of salons make me worry about hygiene. If they can't clean the spots I can see, are they really cleaning the parts I can't??!! Not so here. Everything is nice and clean. Secondly, the massage chairs are wonderful, with different levels of massage and intensity. I was offered coffee, tea or water. You have your choice of a regular pedi for $24 or the spa pedi for $42. I chose the spa pedi that includes sea salt, a pomegranate wrap and massage. Totally worth it. They had a nice choice of colors to choose from. It was SO relaxing. Love how my tootsies turned out. For $5, they can add art work with sparkles. There are two chairs in the spa area, so next time I'm taking a girlfriend or my mom for a nice mani-pedi afternoon. I highly recommend.

She also did a shadow root so that when it grows out it looks as natural as possible since I am very busy, my hair has never looked so amazing! I see her probably once a month now mostly because I love to chat with her. She also recently did my husband's hair for our wedding. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about her. She is so bubbly and fun and definitely knows her stuff! She's recommended great products and I leave happy every time. Thank you Dianna!

My hair stylist was very nice but my experience did not meet my expectations. The color is still 2 toned so you can see the grow out color :/ i'll have to get it redone to actually be one color so it was a waste of money. I also noticed when i got home she cut layers uneven.. my left side has layers & the right side does not(which is embarrassing since you can tell when styling my hair). I'm not sure if she just wasn't paying enough attention to compare the 2 sides and make sure everything was even but it was upsetting once i got back home and it was pointed out to me. Overall i will not be going back to this salon(or at least not to the stylist i had). Hope no one else has these issues.

I am a mom of twin babies and things happen. Diane, who I guess is the manager treated me very rudely and acted like I did this on purpose to my massage therapist. She's very rude and unprofessional. My experience at this salon is this stuff lawsuits are made of. If I could rate in the negative, I…read moremost certainly would. On February 15th, my mom and I came to relax on the anniversary of my sister's death and I walked out of my pedicure with a 2nd to 3rd degree chemical burn on the back of my left leg that is ridiculously large. I was encouraged by a friend and my doctor to file an incident report, so I called the salon to do as much. I was told by the manager that I would receive a phone call from Wendy, owner, which I did. I was told by the owner no only that they supposedly don't take incident reports (which I find hard to believe considering that they have to be licensed and inspected...) but the owner also had the audacity to tell me that I was lying about receiving the burn at her salon. Let's be honest- if I had come into her salon with an undressed chemical burn on my leg wanting a pedicure, there is no way on earth their staff would have worked on my legs/feet because of the liability for the spa! Now, I'm a lot of things, but a liar is not one of them, and as a business owner, she should be ashamed of how she treated myself and my mother who has spent thousands of dollars over the course of several years as a loyal patron prior to this incident. I literally had nothing to gain by trying to file a report except to make sure I had things in order in case the wound got infected. We didn't ask for our money back or anything. It seemed as though Wendy really thought I was making something up so as to get a free pedicure? I can't say for sure what she was thinking, but her demeanor was appalling. Now it's summer time, and after months of healing (I was dressing the wound twice a day for two months- and yes, after I delivered my son my nurses and doctor took a lot of care to make sure my wound wasn't infected and was healing okay) people are starting to ask what happened to my leg, and it's honestly embarrassing. The scar is going to be large and unsightly. You can bet I will also be filing a complaint with the MN Board of Cosmetology. If you are serious about supporting small businesses with hardworking and kind owners, look elsewhere.
