By Friday of the same week, I noticed cracking on the edge of some of my nails, and bubbling in other areas. You would expect a shellac manicure to last more than a few days. Also, when I inserted my hand into the light machine, it burned my hand. Obviously there was something wrong with the machine. I told the technician, she didn't seem bothered by this at all. Needless to say, I will never go back.

Sure the staff was quite friendly, but I'd say my 19$ voucher was over priced for the quality of service/results I received. The manicure was quite basic and looked like I got a friend to pain my nails. It seemed like there was too much polish applied to my nails and the painted surface became dented soon after. There was no "drying" machine which could partially explain the poor results. Heaps of polish were also applied to my toe nails and a regular white fan was used to help accelerate the drying process. Because I was wearing shoes, the esthetician applied this spray to my freshly painted nails which would prevent them from smudging on my way home and sent me off assuring me this spray was the solution to all of my concerns. When I got home, the polish on 4 of my toes was ruined. In great disappointment, I called the salon immediately to see if I could come back for a touch up. They said I could come back for a ridiculous fee of 10$! Outraged, I asked to speak to management because this occurred as a result of poor due diligence on the aesthetician part but the management didn't even have the nerve to return my phone call. I regret giving this place business of any kind and would not recommend this place to ANYONE! It's a waste of money and time. A girl's night in could have produced better results. Thinking back on the situation I don't even want to set foot in that place if a touch up was offered for free.
