I showed the hairstylist a very specific, in depth video of what I wanted done to my hair. All I asked for was a wash and a blowout. She ended up blowdrying my hair with very high heat, curling my hair and then pinning it. When she let the curls fall, my hair looked hideous. I told her that I did not like it, and then she proceeded to flat iron my hair, putting even more heat on my hair. As soon as I went home, I put oil in my hair and even that was not enough to spare it. My hair is now fried, very dry, and I cannot run my fingers through my hair at all without it being tangled. I just would not recommend this place at all. read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I went to this salon for bleach and tone. Bonita left bleach on my hair for 4 hours and used 5 bowls of bleach, my scalp started to burn and felt like it was going to fall off -- not tingle, burn. I told Bonita but she brushed it off and was more worried about correcting my hair and applying more bleach than my concerns. By the time she finally rinsed it out, I was in tears from the pain. I ended up with chemical burns on my scalp that required medical attention. My skin was raw, blistered, and I'm now dealing with scabbing and possible permanent damage to my hair follicles. Not only was the process excruciating, but I still had to pay over $100 for this and pay even more to deal with the chemical burns and health for my hair. Absolutely unacceptable. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Avoid this place at all costs -- your health is not worth the risk read more

I always come here for a quick walk in hair cut. They're pretty good at seeing you right away. The reason why I give them a three stars is because I called in advance and asked if they specialize in curly hair and they said "yes come on in" it was for my daughter (her first hair cut ever) they made her feel special which was nice but at the end of the hair cut and after going back home and waiting for her hair to dry I realized THEY DO NOT SPECIALIZE IN CURLY HAIR. After doing some research you have to cut curly hair a specific way and not just one length which is what my daughter got. Her curls are not back yet an won't be because of the weight of her hair, she needed layers so now I need to find a true curl specialist to cut her hair the correct way. This three star review could've been avoided if they had told the truth of not having the required experience for curly hair, now I feel like I got lied to because they wanted to make $$$ On another note I asked for her to cut my bangs more and to do a face framing and she cut my bangs and said she was done when I asked "what about the face frame?" She said she couldn't do it anymore cause she already had cut my bangs and that it "looked cute anyways" that left a little sour taste on my mouth but I just paid and walked away. I am very disappointed. I don't appreciate being in a hair of salon for almost 3 hours to have my hair colored and then highlighted. The lady I kept pulling my hair when she would clip it. She was pulling my hair when she highlighted it. I asked to not be blonde. She didn't let me choose the highlight color and then after it's all said and done after she rinsed my hair, she said, hold on. I need to add more color to it. So then went back and recolored my hair in the sink. But I have blonde highlights. Then she automatically assumed that everybody in this place wants straight hair. I have natural curly hair, and I don't appreciate the straightness. And when I asked her to stop, she said, oh, we have a few more minutes. We have a few more minutes. I literally, I don't took all the stuff off and went to pay. Because I didn't want straight hair and I don't want the blonde, so not happy. read more

Never go to this place, my sister-in-law got chemical burns on her scalp and neck from Bonita leaving bleach on her for 4 hours. She didn't follow through proper procedures of color stripping her hair and immediately went to bleaching it and adding more and more bleach on it, about 5 bowls of bleach. She had previously gone and had a good experience, but this time she came back with severe burns on her scalp and it left scabs on her scalp. DONT NEVER COME HERE !!!!! read more

1-2-3 strikes...I am done. This shop is real close to my house, so I have gone there. 3 time I got BAD cuts. All different stylists. I have had a good cut 2 times. But, I can't always get one of them. I went this week end and I explained my issues that I had had....they cut too short. It was a new girl I had not had prior. She said all the right stuff, so I let her cut my hair...Well...bye bye hair!!!~ IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD HER NOT TO DO. If you just need a trim, this is NOT the place to go. read more

I had called and clearly stated what I wanted done on my daughter but when I show up Benita or Bonita what ever her name is seem to not even want to do the service said "I didn't take the call when you made the appt" I asked for highlights on my daughter & was told it takes too long due to the color she wanted. Then when I said I also want a wash, blow dry, and to straighten her hair she tells me "I don't straighten, I don't have a flat iron!" Wait what isn't this a hair salon? Tells me no one has ever asked to have their hair flat iron and usually lets her go with wet hair. Cheap place and sorry but those ladies need to all retire! I do not recommend this place at all! Worse place ever! All the ladies were rude! If I could I give it no stars they don't deserve one star. read more

I got a perm from rosemary! I won't deny that she is a super sweetheart and very nice. I got a men's perm and well she did her job properly but didn't know how it would affect my hair, I got it done and it was too tight. After I got done my hair was very dry and looked horrible. She left the perm in too long because she was servicing another customer, and forgot about me, and my hair began to fall out! I had to go get my hair cut down to 1/2 an inch in order to save it. I am married to a Hispanic man and have three daughter who are married to Hispanic men and have five grandchildren all Hispanic. However I am a white female. Our piece of shit president has put a devide in this country where a white woman like myself cannot go into any Hispanic owned or operated business in this town and receive decent customer service. This is not the first time this has happened in recent time . I made an appt at this business three days ago. I went in on Time for my appt and my stylist was not there. I waited 20 min and still no stylist. Four other Hispanic customers walked in after me with no appt and I was skipped over for them. FYI. Just because your white doesn't mean your a bigot like others And you shld never be treated w disrespect based on color. I have always prided myself on being a fair, compassionate and never a racist person. And to be treated like this makes me mad but gives me even more insight for those who are always treated this way based on their race, color, sexuality or other wise. I hope I don't get hate from this post. But I'm trying to point out to others not to Judge ppl on what they look like . My first time here today. My grand daughter had her hair trimmed ( I didn't get the ladies name, but it turned out great) I have very blonde ( with roots showing) Maria did such a great amazing job on the color ( no one has ever done this great of a job) and a perfect trim. Supercuts fixed my nightmare of a haircut that I got from this place. I simply went in with my hair up to my boob, all at one length. All I asked for was a few layers around my head. Rosemary then butchered my new "layers" up to my ears. One side of my head looks like a scene kid hair cut and the other side untouched. It's not very welcoming and my previous highlights done here were not exactly how I asked, so I was very disappointed. However this last visit (a couple of months ago) Crystal did my hair and for once out many different hair professionals she was able to get my platinum blonde highlights exactly how I asked her to. I have got so many compliments and have referred many friends to her! I am excited to see so many good reviews about her on here that she has done such excellent work by many people! So my mother and I went to the new Hair Perfect during their Grand Opening. I believe the workers name was Taclina (or something to that extent). When she cut my hair she was not very gentle. She combed my hair so roughly that she got it stick on my ear piercing and was yanking on it. When she was working on my mother, she exclaimed "What is that?!?" when she saw my mother's mole she has on her head. She had been tugging on it as well. After this, when she charged us she claimed that the advertisement they had outside was not supposed to be there. So instead if $10.99 she charged us $17.99 each (for "styling" which we did not ask for. ) This place displaying FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and has workers that are not gentle or attentive. When my mother complained to the woman and even showed her the ad, the woman turned her face and walked away. read more
