I walked in at five minutes to closing and an appointment to get to at the bottom of the hour and the new barber was the only one in. He said he'd take me AND have me done in time to get to my appointment. He was right and my wife loved the hair cut. The new barber is a young guy so I've found the barber I'll use till I go into the ground!

When I walked into Uncle Doug's, I knew I had found my new barber shop. It's what I consider a "authentic" barber shop, a place with sports memorabilia hanging on the walls, along with old pictures, other knick knacks and a spread of magazines.. My cuts from Uncle Doug have been great. He is a good conversationalist with very interesting stories and is knowledgeable of local history. The last time I was in, he had an additional barber. I have a good opinion of the new barber also. Uncle Doug's takes appointments and also walk-ins. "True" barber shops are disappearing. Please support Uncle Doug's.
