As an observer I was impressed with their process from start to finish . Mary helped us and was awesome - super professional , warm , empathetic and knowledgeable. She was a great resource and took her time allowing the customer to try on as many wigs and styles as wanted . She thoroughly explained how to clean the wig and maintain it . She was fabulous. As far as selection , they have so many options to choose from . The shop was busy on the on the day we visited so I recommend making an appointment so you will not have to wait . You are then able to try on wigs , receive a free consult and help selecting a wig . Without an appointment you may have to wait extensively so plan ahead. Personally , I loved many of the styles and colors and would now consider buying a wig just for a change of pace !

This lady is beyond arrogant -- she is rude, offensive, and short-tempered, and made me feel abused! I left a voicemail asking to schedule an appointment for my mother-in-law and when she called me back, she immediately assumed we were "browsers" and basically said she wouldn't book an appointment unless we were committing to buy a wig over the phone, before coming in, sight unseen. This was the first wig shop I called, and our experience was a negative one. I gather if you aren't a current cancer victim in desperate need of hair today, she doesn't want your business. Even if I had cancer, I wouldn't want to put myself in this woman's hands. So we will go elsewhere. I've never had a vendor call me and treat me that way. There are at least 2 other local shops and we already scheduled an appointment for today with a friendly, receptive shop.

5 stars - A Truly Exceptional Experience at Sheila's Wig Salon…read more While vacationing at Kure Beach, I decided on a whim to search for a wig salon -- and I'm so grateful that search led me to Sheila's. My friends and I visited together, and from the moment we walked in, we felt welcome, supported, and genuinely cared for. As someone who has worn wigs for several years due to thyroid issues, family genetics, and a past chemo journey, I've had my share of wig experiences -- but nothing compares to the expertise and attention to detail at Sheila's. After narrowing down my choice, we returned for a fitting appointment, and I was truly impressed. The staff went above and beyond. A seamstress customized the wig cap by removing and resewing sections to fit my head perfectly. Since I have very little hair, they even added silicone to the front of the cap, which keeps the wig secure and comfortable -- something I didn't know was possible! Now that I'm home, I'm still marveling at how well this wig fits. It feels secure, looks natural, and has given me such a boost in confidence. I already have a follow-up appointment scheduled for November, and I'm planning to get a second wig then. Sheila's Wig Salon is a gem -- professional, compassionate, and highly skilled. On…read more8/27/25 myself and my sister entered this place of business, prior to completion of items to purchase my sister had to use the restroom urgently. When asked if there's an available restroom the woman behind the counter stated they didn't have a restroom. Wow, "LIES". I could tell by the look on my sister face, she really needed to to use the restroom immediately. I told the staff, it was an emergency can she please use the restroom and she insist there was no restroom and she can go next door to the car rental business or Big Lots. My sister stated ma'am I can't make it, I really need to go. Another Customer inside the store intervene by saying can she just go to the restroom, she's a customer. Again, she stated we don't have a restroom. Then i said, where do you go to the bathroom, if you're here working for hours? "Crickets". Long story short, their loss. We didn't patronize this business. With much regrets My sister had an incident in the store I had to go to Big Lots and purchase a towel, under garment pants and get a plastic bag for the rental car seats. SMH. The Staff showed no compassion or consideration that We're not in our 30's, 40's or 50's we're much older and can't hold our water. We're traveling from out of state and was on vacation. If A Negative Star was a Person. Bad Business Practices. No Business 101 skills and American Greed mentality. Greg consistently gives me the perfect cut--short, clean, modern, and easy to maintain. I always leave looking sharper, younger, and more confident. He's also excellent with beard trims and pays attention to the small details that make a big difference.
