Stylist comes out and does not greet me instead goes to phone and makes call clearly annoyed about something. Showed her pic and asked her how she planned on cutting to get the style I was looking for. She actually got mad. Explained I wanted layers blended as my hair tends to lump with the wrong cut. Ok she says. First thing wrong was she cut straight across ears. No layers as in pic and pic was not cut straight across. I don't like hair like that. Now I have a lump that is still growing out. The back was to be tapered inward. It's not. She left long layers in back and clumps from another bad cut I'd had elsewhere. Plus the side was not to be cut in a step. It looks like a bad Joe Dirt gone wrong. Pic had sides at an angle. One side has section of no layers and the other side has layers. Just awful. The conversation was strained and she was extremely argumentative. One of the worst places.

I ONLY go to Bekah at Shear Envy for my hair cuts now and she is the only one that can cut my…read moretoddlers' hair without making them hysterically cry. She is the absolute best. I have had other stylists from other salons literally leave me with wet hair because my hair is thick and they told me it was "taking too long to dry". I have only had the best experiences at Shear Envy. I moved 2 hours away and still make the trip back to Nazareth because I know I will get exactly what I want and always leave feeling my best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

First time I went here I got exactly what I had asked for. Very happy with cut. Next time person…read moresaid she was reshaping my hair which I never wanted and told her so. Hair looked great and had grown out reshaping from prior salons. Asked her to cut it like last time. She reshaped hair anyway. Not happy with it as my hair did not lay right anymore. Struggle to style and exactly why I did not what hair shaped. Hair is thick and cut would not hold no matter what I did. Went back again after it grew out for awhile and told her I did not like cut or the fact I was disregarded. Said you had nailed hair cut the first time and that is what I want. Again cut hair by reshaping it again. Cut was too short and uneven. I complained at front desk, asked for next appointment with a person that can do what customer wants. That got me no where. They refused to do that. So I post this review because they don't care.

I was initially very pleased with the service at Vintage House of Hair in Nazareth, PA. Their…read moreprices are very reasonable, the decor is nice, and the stylists are, for the most part, polite. My only concern was trouble scheduling appointments--they almost never answer the phone, you have to wait for them to call you back to schedule anything. This all changed one morning as I was on my way to an appointment for a perm for myself and a cut for my boyfriend. I had scheduled the appointment for myself first, and then asked if there was someone available at the same time to do my boyfriend, Michelle (the owner) said there was no problem. I hit construction traffic on my way there and was forced to detour, I called Vintage to let them know I would be about ten minutes late. Katie, the stylist I had my appointment with, said that ten minutes was too much, it would set off her entire day and she had to cancel my appointment. She told me that she's slow at perms and the extra ten minutes would make her late for her next appt, then late to her babysitter which was just not an option, and so on. I was upset as I was about to go on vacation and really wanted my hair re-permed, it had grown out considerably. I said I didn't understand how ten minutes could make that big a difference, I had waited more than ten minutes for my appointment in the past. Katie told me it wasn't her fault I was late, but she could still cut my boyfriend's hair. Keep in mind, it wasn't MY fault I was late either, there was construction. I dropped him off, as he needed the cut badly, but I was insulted and angry, and tempted to skip the whole thing. My boyfriend asked Michelle to call me, I was hoping that I could speak to her about the situation, just so she would be aware of how her stylists are communicating with customers. I didn't want to leave this salon behind. But Michelle never reached out to me. The people at Vintage House of Hair have made it very clear, in my opinion, that they do not care about losing customers or if their clients leave feeling insulted. It's unprofessional and no matter how good the prices are, I will NEVER be going here again.
