She glanced at it and said "Don't worry about it" -- so I didn't, she was the "expert." For FIVE more years, the pimple bled when I washed my face and otherwise looked unsightly. Last December I went to another dermatologist and asked about the pimple. She looked at it and said she would take it off (THAT day) and have it checked. It was a basil cell carcinoma and I had to have the Mohs procedure. I later learned that the pimple was a classic example of what basil cell carcinomas look like. Rindler or Reddy only gave it a cursory glance. Why wouldn't they have removed it?? I was furious when I learned, from a REAL doctor, that it was a basil cell and needed to be removed. R&R didn't even take a very good look at it. I thank God it wasn't a melanoma.
