Always walked away from each experience happy, satisfied, but never WOWED... ** ' That all changed today!! When I arrived at the salon, I was greeted by a cute, friendly gal that ended up being Miss Sabel. I was quickly taken to her station, where she & I began the banter of "what I want" vs. "what is realistic"... She completely took my butchered, haphazard explanation of desired color & ran with it & I walked away feeling like she read my mind!! Actually, I don't think I could have explained it!! She was thorough, took her time, and made sure that I was happy with the direction we were headed. She took my 2 toned reddish-copper w a few random blonde highlights to a completely different level of color & expectation. I now have a multi-faceted, richly hued combination of reds, that cohesively blend & compliment the varying caramel & strawberry blonde highlights she put in. My hair looks & feels so much healthier than when I went in because of the deep conditioning treatment I was given. Not to mention the AMAZING straightener she used!!! All in all, I left amazed at the professionalism I encountered. Sabel is a delight to "work" with & I will GLADLY refer her & the Genesis salon to many friends & family!!

Callie said that she had a cancellation earlier in the day and wanted me to come in at 1:30 instead of 3:30. She said that she could still do 3:30 if I preferred. When I said no, I can't come in earlier than 3:30 she said that it's not going to work today due to a "scheduling conflict" and actually tried to blame me, saying that she made many attempts to get ahold of me sooner while I was asleep. She did not offer to reschedule. Again, I scheduled 4 days in advance online AND had to give them my credit card number in order to secure my appointment. I'm sorry to ruin the 5 star rating since my old babysitter is the owner but this lack of professionalism is inexcusable.

When I need my hair dyed, highlighted or cut I always see Cassie, she is the owner. She is just the kindest person, but beyond her awesome personality her talent with color is superb! I have dark hair and I like to get subtle highlights which Cassie gets right everytime even though I worry about them turning brassy she knows exactly what to do to keep them looking great! My most recent visit was a fearful one because I had lost an extreme amount of hair after having Covid. Cassie was very comforting and helped me feel at ease with cutting my hair short... I was scared that I would hate it. I ended up loving the short hair look! At times when my gray hair has not taken the color well she has made sure to correct it and never made me feel awkward or pay extra. To note that this has only happened one time in the several years of seeing Cassie. You will not be disappointed! There is so much talent in this business!

My hair just looked sadder and sadder with each attempt. I thought I was doomed to box color to hide the grays, and cut my own hair in my bathroom. Then one day while I was at work, I met a really kind woman who also happened to have incredible hair. I had to know the hair genius who crafted her hairstyle, for my hair was still crying. This incredibly kind woman not only gave me the name of this hair genius-She took us out to brunch so we could finally meet! Aubree has truly been an answer to my prayers! Not only is she anointed for hair miracles, which was also a much needed catalyst for the major upward spiral that took place in my life after God worked through her to help me regain my confidence to look and feel like a better version of myself again (the hair has never looked better)- she is also genuinely kind, trustworthy, brilliant, amazing, respectable and inspiring woman who I am blessed to call a friend.
