During my long appointment she did highlights and lowlights, with a gloss treatment, always checking with the owner on colors and timing. They were both concerned about getting it just right. I wish I'd taken a before pic as they nailed it! My hair felt soft, healthy and the color was perfect. I only need to go in every 6 weeks or so now, and I am so happy. This review is not about the stylist's skills, but about the customer service and negligence I experienced. I specifically made my appointment 9 days in advance because I was attending a wedding and needed a guaranteed time slot for a blowout. When booking, I clearly repeated the correct Saturday three separate times, yet the appointment was still scheduled for the wrong date. I understand mistakes happen, so as soon as I received the confirmation text with the incorrect date, I immediately called to have it corrected. The receptionist assured me it would be fixed. Several days later, I then received a text from the stylist saying my appointment had been canceled and asking if I wanted to book another one. I replied right away explaining that I had never canceled my appointment. Since I received no response, I decided to call myself because the last thing I wanted was to be left without service on the day of the wedding. Madison, the stylist, told me that I had originally been booked on the wrong date and that the time I requested was no longer available. She offered me a different time, but that was extremely frustrating since my entire day had already been planned around the original appointment. I then asked to be booked with another stylist at the time I needed. She promised to get back to me -- but never did. No one followed up, no one fixed the mistake, and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. The complete lack of communication and accountability was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. read more

From the moment I walked in, she acknowledged me and made me feel cared for. I tried to contact Kelsie Silva by phone, on Yelp, and via her Instagram account. She responded via Instagram 2 days later asking if a bang trim was all I needed. When I confirmed that info she never responded again. I even reiterated that I really needed a bang trim because I had guests coming into town. Crickets. I understand that bang trims don't pay the bills, but they can lead to a new customer for more services later. And it takes 5 minutes. Surely you can squeeze me in. So frustrating! read more

Kaili has been my stylist for 6 years and she does a phenomenal job! I get highlights and trims/cuts monthly and my hair always looks beautiful. She is an amazing colorist. I've also had her do red and low lights with the blonde and they always are perfectly blended. I've been to quite a few stylists over the years on the Central Coast and wasn't happy till I started going to Kaili. Also, Kaili has fair and reasonable pricing as I've paid $200+ before, so definitely appreciate that too. Kaili is fantastic. Best highlight and cut I've had in awhile. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. Her space is clean and cheery...not far from the Allegretto and with plenty of parking. She offers great products and even has an organic line that's reasonable. I love that she uses the Style Seat app so I can just make appointments online and even pay through that...so simple. Although I accidentally called when trying to get her info to my mom and she returned my call promptly, so she's professional all the way around. My mom's cut turned out great too and she is very nervous about having people do her hair. Lastly, her pricing is fair. I remember dropping $200+ in SLO, but a partial highlight and cut was $125 with her (before tip). That may still be expensive to some, but really it's worth it for how you'll feel after she does your hair. read more
