The one star is because they at least had the illusion that they could carry the smokes I wanted. But you want to know more? FINE. I enjoy Djarum Blacks on occasion. Every so often I get a craving for cloves and, well, I'd accidentally left the last pack I'd been given by a friend in town from out of state in an Uber. I was running some errands & had to walk by here. I knew this place was around & hoped that since it was an actual stand-alone smoke shop that they'd have them since go figure other places near didn't. As I walked up to the store I saw that it was closed. I looked at the hours and saw- nope it's not supposed to be. The door was totally locked though. Ok no big deal. I don't actually need smokes anyway. I started to walk away to continue running errands. When I went to leave a security guard came up behind me asking me if I'd wanted to shop there. I tried to politely decline saying it wasn't necessary. He said that the owner was exercising or something. Exercising? During store open hours & completely shutting down her business to do so? Uh ok... I was ready to leave but then the lady came and I felt rushed and insisted in going. I figured fine I will go in to see if they have the smokes at least. Sure enough they do carry them... but they were out of stock. I was told that they were restocked once a month on the first. The lady tried to sell me other flavors of the Djarums but I wasn't interested & finally bowed out. I didn't get pictures inside because I didn't even want to be in there in the first place. It wasn't the tidiest in there. It was dusty & not really appealing at all. Ultimately this is something that I haven't missed at all. I mean it was a total tease that they had the empty carton box but I don't need or want cloves from here enough to make the effort or time to go back again. Blah. read more

Will never come back here.... I had just gotten nails done next door and peeked in and was nicely welcomed by the only person working the store at the time. I think he said his name was Rudy.... well, Rudy was very friendly and happy to show me all that they had to offer so I decided to spend some time checking out their tobacco products... I had been wanting to try an electronic cigarette for awhile and so Rudy showed me a SQUARE brand product. After some detailed explanation and how nicely he answered all of my questions, I decided to purchase one. I had no experience with this type of product so I didn't know what I should be paying. Nonetheless, I was crunched for time and went forward with the purchase.... I should have known something was up since it did NOT come in a box. He verbally gave me the instructions on how to use it. At least, I knew it hadn't been used since he peeled the tape off in front of me and also had me take the plastic piece out of the filter part. It rang up to something like $12 or $13 dollars for a single cigarette. WELL..... I happened to be in Hollywood a few nights after this and ended up being near another smoke shop so I decided to see if they had this product there. Well... they DID.... And guess what? It came in a box and the MSRP listed on the box was $6.99!!!! So yes, Rudy and Halaby Tobacco ripped me off big time. How tacky to rip off a new customer who had an otherwise pretty nice experience in your store!!!!! Do you care if people come back??? Obviously not.... They are total frauds and selling the products outside of their original packing is deliberately deceptive.... An almost 50% mark-up from the MSRP is ridiculous. I would have come back because Rudy was actually quite fun and engaging but now that I know he ripped me off.... well.... they will never see another dime of my money again. My husband baught two vaporizers here. After a week mine broke. It was unable able to vaporize. So I took it back to the store assuming maybe they would give me some sort of deal take it back and give me a new one, however this was not the case. Instead she informed me that she was unable to contact the dealer because they were on organized . So I went online and did some research, when i found the fumi company I called the number and I spoke to a very nice man. He informed me that I should have gone to the store and they should replace it via their contract. When I informed him that this did not happen and I did go to the store and she refused he told me to email him my information and that he would send me out a new one . Now if this man does actually send me a new product I will be things his company's name to anybody who will listen because in this case it would be a great company I will give you an update on whether or not it happens . But so far I'm pretty content with the man I spoke to on the phone Oh but its first store complete crap. All way over priced stuff which he did would be tolerable if it weren't for the horribly rude workers. Meanest people ever!!! Do not spend your money here. I asked a question and got yelled at, terrible service.

Wish we could give negative stars here. I purchased an herbal vaporizer from them, spending over $100. When I got home I discovered that not only did the box not include any of the accessories listed on it, they had given me the incorrect whip portion, making the vaporizer unusable. I went back the next day to try to rectify the situation, and the woman (who claimed to be the owner but I truly believe she was lying given the big pause when I asked if I could speak to the owner) first of all kept helping everyone else who came into the store, leaving me standing there again and again. She tried to blame the mistake on the vaporizer company, then spent a huge amount of time insisting that it would work, but when I asked her to show me how she would say "oh, it won't work" and then less than a minute later would tell me to just "take it home and try it", no mater how many times I kept demonstrating to her that it *would not work*. She did not want to be bothered with fixing their mistake, didn't know anything about the products, and refused to refund my money because they have an "all sales final" policy. However, it is fraudulent to give someone a product that is not what they paid for and refuse to refund their money. She tried to get me to "exchange" it for something more expensive and pay the $40 difference. This is also fraudulent and illegal and called bait and switch. In the end I had to just dispute the charge with my credit card company. I'll try to relate my favorite part of the conversation, though it mostly consisted of the "saleswoman" repeating herself and contradicting herself. I'd taken my laptop in with a page open to the manufacturer's website showing all of the things that should have been included with the product, including the correct whip, so that there could be no mistake about what the product should be. She kept telling me "You can't compare it to the Internet", but couldn't or wouldn't understand that i wasn't comparing it to anything, but trying to show her what the product should have been. She then told me that the product was discontinued (a lie), that's she'd bought the last seven cases (a lie) and that the one I'd purchased was the last one. When i showed her that I could easily purchase one on the Internet, so it hadn't been discontinued, she once again repeated "You can't compare it to the Internet". When I again tried to explain to her that the product didn't have the correct parts and showed her AGAIN what the manufacturer showed as being the correct parts, she told me that the reason I'd gotten it so "cheap" was because the parts were different, and "you can't compare to the Internet". I explained that first of all, when I purchased it no one told me that the parts were different, which is fraud (and they also didn't know anything about the parts, so this was simply a lie) and also it wasn't cheaper because of the wrong parts. She said "Yes, if you got this on the internet you'd pay $130 or $140." (I paid $100 plus tax.) I showed her the manufacturer's webpage selling the product with all of the correct parts for $85. Her reply? "Well you can't compare to the Internet." Didn't you just tell me that I'd pay $130 or $140 on the Internet? She just didn't know what she was talking about and made up lies to try to get out of the fact that they gave me something different than the product I'd paid for without telling me, and the product was unusable. She kept pointing to a sign that said "all sales final". That's fine, but it's still a business' legal obligation to give you the product you paid for, and if they can't do that to refund your money. Anything else is fraud. Avoid this place. Maybe it's fine if you just want a pack of smokes, but for anything else they are overpriced, rude, ignorant, and apparently also liars and frauds. read more
