He curates a welcoming and relaxing environment and doesn't fail to keep his hand relatively light and the experience short. It's all your own preference, but I never feel as though I am alone through the process, he has the ability to make conversation with a wall or just be the wall. I have first-hand seen him interact with unexpected costumers and been touched by how he can kindly answer questions that might seem obvious to others. I can't wait to work with him again. The shop is a small, and warm space both comfortable as well as clean and friendly. We had called with a very vague idea of what we wanted and within a matter of hours they had something drawn up that was better than any of us expected. We were all getting matching tattoos and not one of us had a single change to make to the drawing. It was exactly what we wanted but couldn't quite put into words, but these guys managed to sketch it out and it was spot on. The shop owner was really nice as was the other artist (Brad) who did my tattoo. Both worked fast and diligently with the friendly banter you'd expect from a barber shop. Brad, who tattooed me, had a light hand and did a great job with the colors. Start to finish the whole experience was exactly what you want in a tattoo shop. The prices are more than fair, the work is outstanding, the shop looks great, the artists are honest and dedicated. If there were 6 stars they would get them. If you are looking to get tattooed and you live anywhere near this place do yourself a favor and check them out. It honestly was the best day in recent memory. This shop is unlike any tattoo spot I've been to - it's serene, calming, and immediately puts you at ease in a situation where you might be feeling a little nervous. Jess, Emma (the other tattoo artist), and Wayne (a piercer who has pierced me several times!) are all welcoming and fabulous to have conversations with. The tattoo is lovely and the healing process didn't even seem to happen - such fine work! More recently I have been to see Casey for a larger piece. I brought a crazy vision for a tattoo that I had always dreamed of and didn't think would be possible based on the placement and complexity. Casey has brought this dream to life.
