When notifying us of her death he said he took her to the vet to get a autopsy because he too was curious under the circumstances of her death. Considering he told us she died AFTER the vet was closed we had no way to visit her. Or even confirm she was there. He was also texting us saying the vet said it was a heart issue. Bright and early the next day I went to the vet expecting to see my dog. Instead they informed me that he JUST dropped her corpse off THAT DAY so they still needed to clean the blood and pee off her. not only did he withhold her death from us until after the vet was closed he lied about where she was and what the vet said. After waiting for them to bathe my dead dog. I then laid with her while she was wet her eyes dried like raisins and blood on her paws mouth and nose. Not only did she look like a shell of the former dog I cherished she had also lost 10 pounds. After waiting 3 hours with the stench of 24+ hour dead dog that had been kept in the summer heat. He finally showed up to have a few words which I have all recorded. The man was so nonchalant it disgusted me to my core. Don't take your dog here. Don't support his business I've left reviews on Google and he jumps through hoops to get them taken down.

He held her for another 12 hours before he gave her to the vet making her serology testing unavailable. he is an ex cop. I have a hard time picturing her last week and then her body decomposing for 24hours. When we got back to town I visited the facility with fans running and the stench emanating from the building. Sunny is an old dog now and I more than ever appreciate their attention to his changes in vision and coordination. We have found our boys to be well cared for, and the staff to be quite kind. This was my first time using this grooming business. My first impression of the building was that…read moreit smelled strongly of urine. I noticed that they share the building with a dog rescue so I thought maybe the kennels just had not been cleaned yet that morning-but it still smelled like urine when I returned to pick my dog up. The receptionist pointed out a front paw that had been hit by the dremel-she described it like road rash. When I got home I noticed that a lot of hair had been missed in the grooming and was somewhat uneven-my dog is a miniature poodle-and that her ears were uneven and shorter than requested. On further examination of her paws, it was actually a back paw that had been injured and was covered in a yellowish gunk. When I called to ask about it they said they put this on to stem the bleeding but that she did not bleed. Later in the week, I noticed my dog chewing on that paw and now I could clearly see she has a fairly significant cut on the paw. I also requested an incident report as soon as I got home. They said it would be provided in the "report card" they would send later that day. The report card came with a note basically blaming my dog for the injury and today-the "report card" is no longer available to access. My dog has been going to the groomer every 6-8 weeks for 6 years and has never had an issue. We are new to this community so I needed to find a new groomer. Needless to say, I will never return to this groomer. I wish I had the name of the person who was the groomer so I could make sure to never use her again-even if she goes to another grooming company.

Although we arrived around 8:30pm Maura took our English Pointer mix to the dog park to exhaust some of his pent up energy from the long car ride. They made our dog feel right at home by welcoming him into their home and even letting him sleep on their bed. Although he was only there for 13 hours or so I got a pic and text updates. I would highly recommended and would definitely use them again next time we're passing through.
