Well organized, and enough to keep most book nerds enthralled for a bit. We used to turn in books for credit for years (until we moved out of town), was always useful to rotate through the stacks of paperbacks. Always had friendly service and help from the staff.

But I also love their outdoor selection--I bought new pots for my plants on my front porch and I was tempted to get even more than actually put in my shopping cart. I've been to this store twice now and the first time I went, I found some cute scrub tops for my daughter. They weren't there the last time I went so if you see something you like, don't hestitate to get it! I just bought some cookware there and we love it! So far, we've really had fun perusing their large selection of goods and their prices are great.

Just went to browse in the back for retro stuff and the guy working there left his counter to tell me about some deals. Told him I was just browsing and he wouldn't shut up about these Gamestop-esque deals. I really did not care and it was extremely uncomfortable. It seemed like whenever our eyes meet, he would have to say something. It was like a Pokemon battle. I literally walked to sections of the store I didn't want to just so I didn't have to run into him. This should not happen. Not only that, the selection of games was not very good. I used to find rows and rows of cheap games here, but after swimming through shelves and shelves of nothing but DVDs and useless merchandise, one of the most valuable things they had was John Madden on Genesis in-box. Whooptie doo. Most of the other games had torn stickers on them. Poor Sonic & Knuckles had bits of the plastic cut in it, as if a buzz-saw nicked it somehow. Seriously?? How did they get like this?! The store was also very dirty and unkempt. I almost tripped on some bits of shelving when I went to the album section. I am a pretty avid fan of brick and mortar stores and was actually planning on purchasing at least something there, but I ultimately changed my mind and left. Dudebros who apparently bought this place would rather talk your ear off about purchasing DVD and merchandise snake oil than anything worth your collection. Try FX at Richland Mall.

Then you walk toward the middle and find the rest of the store with mountains of dvds, blu ray, toys and more. There really is a lot of stuff here. I even found a friend's self pubbed book here. Store had Dubai chocolates, and adorable crafted Christmas cards in stock, Plus a very nice Ulta Beauty department, and a busy Starbucks. Lots of Cashiers on duty, and self checkouts. Easy parking, and a person was staffed at the entrance to help guide customers. Picked up some cleaning supplies, and shopped for an iPad case though they had limited choices so this was instead purchased online. Overall a pleasant experience.

But, I want to make special mention of two things that I thought were great. First, many of the storage areas/cases in the frozen food section had lights that were dimmed and went on as you approached them. Nice conservation idea and one that I have not seen in the United States before. And, the young woman at the check out -- her name was Esme -- was absolutely lovely in terms of being welcoming, interested in making sure I had a good shopping experience, and being a good conversationalist. Nicely done Esme. Definitely made me wanted to visit the store again soon.
