Absolutely adore Spice Village. It's a great way to support local shops away from the hub-bub of the Magnolia compound frenzy. It's located on a second floor (stair and elevator access) and there are so many good things as far as the eye can see. It's a collective of local shops and proprietors selling their wares. Spice Village came highly recommended during our trip to Waco. It was full of unique finds and friendly staff, so I can see why so many people were excited about it! This place is pretty sprawling. It was really easy to get lost in here. I wasn't super impressed with the selection (lots of cheap plastic earrings and "boutique" clothes), but there were a few unique booths full of vintage finds that I loved sorting through. The prices can be high, depending on the booth, but there are some great deals hidden away. You can find a lot of fun, trendy giftable items here too. I definitely think that Spice Village is worth at least a quick stop while in Waco. read more

Cute little shopping area in Waco. You can find some nice little things decently priced while other things are junky and overly priced. But it was fun to walk around and look at things. The staff was a little rude, but it may have been because it was a Saturday and they were busy. read more

Wonderful shopping experience. Two friends of mine and I came in from Granbury and spent at least two hours in the store. It's definitely a place to go to if you'd love to shop for things that are different from clothes to seasonings to antiques to hair, accessories, etc. the staff are wonderfully nice and efficient when it's busy. A cool spot to check out when in downtown Waco. It's a bunch of stand alone boutiques under one roof . All items are price marked then you go to the register like normal. There is a lot of cute stuff. I saw that you can buy a canned alcoholic drink and stroll through the store. The store has their own unique candle scent. That smells so inviting. read more

What a precious shopping area! We enjoyed looking at all the shops throughout the upstairs. Had anything you could possibly want, from boutique clothes to candles. We had only finished looking at half the shops and wanted to go to lunch so the sweet girls at the checkout counter held our things while we ran to eat. This was a super cute place! Multiple mini shops inside one building. Greeters and register employees were friendly but some of the ladies walking around were not very friendly. Like most tourist spots and local shops -- prices are high. Lots of candles, spices, gadgets, trinkets, clothings, souvenirs and home decor and so much more. We went on a quick overnight girls trip to Waco & stopped here for shopping. The stores are upstairs but the do have elevators so don't let that scare you. This place has some cute everyday overpriced stuff but it also has your oh wow look at that unique finds. Very clean & well organized. The line can get long but it usually moves along. Spice village is one of my favorite places to go in Waco! I could spend hours here! Spice village is a huge store with smaller retail sellers inside, like an antique store but with really cute and fun things to buy. There's clothes, shoes, baby things, accessories, home decor, a little of everything! I noticed that items tend to be a little overpriced, but sometimes you can find sale items! I also noticed that some of the younger employees sometimes have snotty attitudes, but I just smile and move on. If you love shopping, spice village is a must, at least once! read more

This is a must stop for shopping when visiting Waco. You can find your norm shopping malls but this is a place that has alittle of everything clothes, baby items, shoes, house items , holiday, nik nacks, jewelry, a lot of TX souvenirs. It's a place to wonder around and just have fun looking. Great place for gifts. When u walk in you see decorated stairs straight up....... lucky for me, behind is a elevator. Spice Village is a must stop on anyone's tour of Waco.... particularly if the country - farmhouse vibe is your thing. It's a cornucopia of little shops, each selling their wares and working to get grow into their own brick and mortar space. Several places (like Harp Designs, I believe) started out here before moving on to their own spaces (and yeah, Chip and Jo also had A LOT to do with that!). So many shops here, ranging from clothes to spices to home decor to jewelry to random fun gifts. As others have shared, it's not incredibly kid friendly as the aisles are narrow and each and every corner is filled with something to feast your eyes on and tempt your wallet. That said, come with a hefty dose of patience and lots of time to kill. Who knows what you'll find! It was a cool adventure that we loved every minute of. We picked up some fabulous olive oil and balsamic vinegar to take back with us. The samples sold us - so good! Stop by when you're in town and have an afternoon to spare. Super fun! read more

When visiting downtown Waco, this store is a must-visit for souvenir or gift shopping. They offer a variety of local and national products, including Baylor University merchandise. I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in Waco to purchase their merchandise. I also like that they have a gift service available for a small fee. I was able to get a gift wrapped for only $3 and it was so pretty decorated with ribbons and all. read more

You have to come here if you are in the mood for boutique shopping in Waco. It's upstairs from the restaurant, but there are so many boutiques crammed into one space. This is great for apparel, especially Baylor apparel for game day. Our family had such a nice time shopping here. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. There is something for everyone at Spice Village. I overheard someone tell her friend- if you see something you like, buy it because it may not be there next time. WOW! This store is AMAZING! It has so many cute dresses, beautiful jewelry, gift ideas, home decor etc... My head was spinning there was SO MUCH to look at. One trip is definitely not enough. The prices are ok... some items are a bit over priced but most other things are average price- wise. There are a lot of sales people to point you in the right direction too if you are looking for a specific item, so that is helpful. I visited Spice Village on March 12, 2024 with my daughter, granddaughters and one 4 yr old and one 5 year old great granddaughters. Our experience was great until we saw a display of sexually explicate books, toys for young children...showing male and female body parts- in easy reach of the children. Other items were sacrilegious showing Taylor Swift and other celebrities in head-dress depicting what would be a king or queen crown that normally Jesus would wear or has been shown wearing. This display was meant to attract the young children. Why would you allow this...Is it the money from sales...or do you not care that our children are being over sexualized? This is a really cool place! It's a several blocks from Magnolia Silos and worth walking to. On the way you can hit up the Dr Pepper Museum, which is worth a stop too. If you're not into walking there is parking out front. So many fun booths to walk through and fun stuff to see and buy. There is also two choices downstairs to eat. A bakery that had a bunch of cupcake choices, I got wedding cake and it was fabulous! They also had a food menu. Plenty of seating too. read more
