First, the receptionist tells me she's busy and I need to call back later. When I call back, she informs me they're not accepting new patients. Then she puts me on hold and finally finds my records. We go to the appointment; a new girl comes into the room, takes my dog and then returns (she does not introduce herself and I assume she's taking him to weigh). The receptionist then tells me my bill is ready!!! I said I was waiting to see the doctor. Come to find out, the girl who took my dog was actually the doctor. Not once did she say who she was or ask why we made the appointment!!! Absolutely no communication whatsoever!!!! Ohhhhh and the bill was $550!!!!! Come to find out, they had my records mixed-up with someone else's. I was never able to find out what they did (or did not do) for my dog Incompetent does not even begin to describe the terrible mistake the entire staff made that day. The decision to drive 8 hours or drive 1.5 hours to TC seemed a no brainer. They really did not give a complete diagnosis. Their 1st suggestion was surgery. I am a healthcare professional. So, I know surgery is NEVER THE 1ST OPTION. $800+ later he got better but not totally. 10 days later he got worse again. Husband drove the 8 hours, saw our vet​. Our vet, who has 30 years experience, says, "Surgery is not the preferred or usual treatment for this autoimmune disease caused issue. They charged $98 for same assessment and meds. It is ridiculous that an emergency vet is able to charge 8X's the usual and customary fee. What a way to gouge people. Sad!!!!

They always get lots of attention from the employees (one of which also has a husky and she always remembers us and always is so great to see!) and they also have given us lots of free samples of treats and foods. I also have 2 cats and I have discovered a few different treats that my picky old cat now loves and I was only able to discover these through their generous free samples for them. On Halloween I remember going there and they had all sorts of stuff they were giving for people AND pets and it's times like those and all the other times I've been helped here that made me realize that this isn't just another pet store.
