This place is great! Wanted to find somewhere walkable from where I was staying with beer and found this little establishment. Such a refreshing atmosphere compared to the downtown Keystone Tourist bars. It's functional and antique/junk shop with a u shaped bar in the front. $3 and $4 draft beers and $3 burger with chips! Where else can you get a fresh made burger for $3?! Rotating taps and solid music on the speakers. They have live music on Saturdays. Get your buzz on and wonder around the place maybe finding that piece of nostalgia you were hoping for. Good conversation and good people working and drinking there. Thanks Bob and Jake! read more

They added a bunch of stuff since last summer. Horseshoe pits and a popcorn/cotton candy stand! Outside has more furniture and places to hang out than I remember. It was totally packed with people and everyone was having fun. I met people from Croatia, China, Panama, Colombia, Jamaica and lots of US states. I wish they had a place like this in California. read more

This is my favorite place in Keystone. If you can find a night when they're having live music there is nowhere else in Keystone that you should be. Hang out with the locals, sing, dance, and browse antiques. That's my idea of the perfect night out! Great casual environment, but never know when they decide they want to be open. Forget about making plans, spontaneity is the only way with them. Free pool and there is video lottery and the coolest collection of stuff. Bathroom is great too. Again, good luck predicting when they are open. read more

Excellent place to stop on way from Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. Love the local vibe and excellent customer service. $4 local beers are a steal. We ordered the buffalo burgers and a large order of the hand cut fries. Absolutely delicious. Burgers are on the small side, but definitely worth it. We did wonder about the $0.25 charge for lettuce, onion, and tomatoes though. For a small handful of chopped iceberg and one tomato slice, it didn't seem worth it. However, we were happy to pay it and support this local establishment. Will definitely return the next time we are in the area. read more

Bob the owner is one of the most amazing people I have ever met while sitting at the bar having a beer we got the meat the oldest last remaining Carver of Mount Rushmore. Very cool place for cheap beers and burgers (no produce for burgers but they are good). While drinking and eating you can browse the antique store. Must visit if you are in keystone. Not in the tourist area but in the historic town which is an easy walk from the train station. read more

Wife and I have gone here at least a couple of times a year for the last three or four years. It has always been fun browsing the antiques and junk. The owners were real friendly and made us feel welcome which made us want to come back. After going there yesterday, I don't think we will go back. I am not sure but I would be willing to bet that it has changed ownership. There were only three customers in there and the staff never even acknowledged that we were there. This is not only an awesome antique store with a lot of neat stuff, but it's a bar, and Halley serves bar food (hamburgers, chicken fingers). We took a chance because it's more for local folk, but they were warm, friendly and helped make our day even better!! The hamburgers were great, and you couldn't beat the price. The owner is friendly, and you can watch him cook the food right there!! I would highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat and to check out the store. There's also an attic and basement, and they are both full with great items! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who will be in the Keystone area!!
