The front of the store had lots of signs, statues and other Knick knacks. Entering the store I was surprised at how much bigger it was than I first thought. It was full of items. There are dolls, card decks, casino chips, doorknobs, various tools, dinnerware, western posters, an old fashioned baby carriage, animal pelts. There was a whole room full of various beer cans and beer memorabilia. Old trunks, unique spice holders and glasses. I couldn't finish looking around. He found it overwhelming and waited in the car. It was a little crowded for me but I wanted to check the store out. If you like old items and rummaging around, you'll like this store.

We went in today to buy some supplies to work on the house we purchased. We asked for a couple good…read moretrim boards 1" x 2" x 8' boards, the manager, Justin said he would go get them. He did, brought them up front we made the $85 purchase of our items and I started to put the boards in back of our truck, one broke at a knot so I proceeded back in to the store to get a replacement. I asked Justin if I could have a replacement and he makes a "disgusted noise" as if it was a ridiculous question and I was taking too much of his time, then he proceeds to tell me that, "Wood is not a warrantied product." Then asked me what I'm doing with it? The fact that it doesn't matter what I'm doing with the items I purchase or the fact that I've built custom homes for most of my adult life until I retired. Seriously! I hadn't even left the parking lot. Let alone for the simple fact that I specifically asked for 2 decent trim boards! I don't care if Justin is a manager. His response to me was uncalled for and rude. I realize we aren't considered "locals" even though we own a home here in Sturgis and are from out of state. We spend 3 weeks here during the rally and come in the off season to work on our house for a couple weeks. We will be finding another venue for the rest of our house needs. Vickie Costello
