[1080] 2/2020…read more I visited this costume store in Philadelphia while in the area. Plenty of strip mall parking. The store is huge and seems to be open all year round. There are a ton of costumes available in this location. There is an upstairs which has closeout items. They have a 50,60,70 and 80 costume section which made me want to find a themed party :) We picked up a few cool items while here. Staff was friendly We will definitely be back.

They have a sections of " goth clothing", adult section in the back, a kids section and everything in between; from clowns to princesses, to fairies and jesters they truly have it all. The make-up section is OK , has all the essentials color wise , fake blood and all that jazz. I was looking specifically for " jester make up", which they didn't have, but if you know what you're doing they definitely have the colors CON: is the price. Biggest "con" of all ( see what I did there ;) Their corsets are priced at $99.. WHAT? I could go to Victoria Secret for a real one.. and some! Ps you can find corset online for $20.. I found a top hat that was cute.. I flipped it over $79.99 . WHAT WHAT? I was flipping it around trying to see, is this made from gold? From magical fairy elves.. a brand name? I have no idea. I ended up making my own from materials of AC Moore for about $5.. They'll have what you need, I'm sure of it. Just be ready to shell out

The first time trying to find this place was a nightmare, I googled the phone number & got some poor random guys number, luckily he had a great sense of humor because I wasn't the only one who called him asking directions to the store but the number was his personal house line This store is located in the old Sports Authority building. They had very creepy animated displays to test & a whole hotel scene in the back of the store, reminded me of American Horror Story Hotel. I wish I had the money and space to buy that whole thing. I was happy with the selection of decorations, every year I try & do a new theme in one of my rooms & this year was "day of the dead" in my dining room. They even had our makeup for all of our costumes this year! Even if you don't celebrate Halloween, this is a fun free shop to walk around in.

I'm not exactly sure how I would categorize Davis trading post…read more It's a business that's been in this part of Delaware County forever and it's greatly loved by locals. I'll go out on a limb and decide this kind of reminds me of 5 and 10 cent stores of the past, combined with that little corner store with sundries, milk, cigs, that used to be everywhere from the 30s through the 70's. During the various holiday seasons you will find decorations to purchase outside lining their sidewalk on the side of the building. You see this driving by and it's hard not to turn in and check them out. As you enter the building you will also see some of the outdoor decorations to the right along with a section that appears to have some magazines/ periodicals. To the left and at the counter lottery tickets are available for purchase. As you make your way to the back of the store you start to realize that it transforms from a mishmash to a section that they decided would be more organized and definitely geared towards inexpensive home decor. It's a local gem worth a "stopby" where I'm sure you will find something to purchase. A "must stop"during various holiday seasons.
