On our first stroll into the city, myself and my partner happened across this little gem after walking past dodgy-looking tourist traps and suuuuuper overpriced seafood joints.
My main draw was the array of veggie options on the menus outside, but when we we sat inside, we were presented with an uber-reasonable lunch menu. We enjoyed this with the generously poured house wine option. I had sips of both red and white and they were both lovely. (Hic).
Himself ordered the pesto burger, while mine was the spinach and ricotta option. They were bunless and had two layers of burger!!! But don't worry, carb fiends, they also came with a generous side salad and/or chips. The cherry on this yummy meal was the homemade garlic mayo & katsup, which was lovingly introduced to us by the server.
We walked in just before one pm, as one of four groups yet twenty minutes later, every table was packed - proving it to be a local favourite. This gives it all the more street cred with me. read more
