By accident, this practice decided to communicate they no longer accept cash, (what I believe is still legal tender) on the same day we had the biggest winter storm in 10+ years. This practice could care less if we drop dead from the snow but they made sure we all know they no longer take cash. Very bad timing and poor optics. The practice is more corporate with the priority on admin. They also just implemented Athena which is terrible... my guess they will be absorbed by Capital Health very soon. read more

I was supposed to be scheduled for a vein procedure. I went to Doctor Fox and was told his office staff would be calling me to set an appointment for the procedure. I just got the call today over 2 months from my appointment. The receptionist didn't apologize for the lateness of the call. She just said that there was a cancellation and I could have an appointment. I asked her what had been the problem that she hadn't gotten in touch with me before. She said they got a new computer system and there was some confusion. Needless to say I canceled the procedure. If you can't call me in a timely manet, I can't trust you to operate on me. read more

This practice has the worst time management skills, I have ever seen. I waited 45 minute, in a patient room for the doctor. Which was over anhour past my appointment time. When the doctor finally did show. He didn't show any care or concern for the wait. The sad part is, if you are late or miss your appointment, there is a fee or cancellation for you. But when they are late, or reschedule your appointment, there's no consequence to them. The staff is not friendly, and some can be very rude. When you complain about there, very poor time management skills. They will look at you, as if your the problem. This is not a good practice, so literally, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! read more

My last visit had me sitting in the waiting room for over an hour. I had a back soasm and barely made it through the appointment. The doctor came in for 2 minutes and kept themeds the same. Fast forward to last week. I rescheduled an appointment because I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to sit for an hour. They tried to charge me 50 dollars but later waived it. If people have to wait that long, they don't need to charge a fee if you need to change an appointment. I don't know how I'm going to feel in 48 hours. The staff could be friendlier especially when you are getting tests done. read more

Care is very thorough, just don't expect to do anything else after your appointment here. Don't be surprised if after 30 min to an hour past your appointment you are still sitting in the waiting room waiting to see your doctor. When your doctor leaves Hamilton Cardiology, expect zero advance notification and a refusal to share the contact information for his new office. It's not worth paying the co-pay premium to see a random doctor at Hamilton Cardiology when they aren't on my insurance companies list of in-network providers. Rude, incompetent scheduling staff! Although my Doctor, Jay Patel is top notch, I have a problem with the office staff. I had a procedure scheduled for today, which was canceled by landline voicemail on August 20. I was on vacation at the time and never received the message. I returned home, interrupting my vacation, only to listen to the voicemail informing me of the cancellation. The notice could have, should have also been sent via text and email and my wife and I would not have lost a day of a well deserved vacation. I took my father here for a test. At first everything was fine. Then came certain from desk people. Some of these ladies are rude, condescending and liars. They lie for each other and fabricate an issue in their favor to make you feel as though you're wrong. Taking my father elsewhere don't want his well being in care t a practice that allow staff to treat patience any way and go unchecked. if their that bold to do it in person and over the phone. This is the worst cardiologist office in the world. I called for a problem I was having, a machine came on and said they were too busy to answer the phone and to hit 1 for emergencies. I hit one and it hung up on me. This isn't my first time having this kind of experience with them. I need a form filled out and a medication refill and I told the doctor at my visit however she never did it. I called the other day to tell them their patient portal wasn't working, they didn't care, they told me to try it in 48 hours. Meanwhile it hasn't been working for me for a few weeks but everytime I call they tell me the same thing. I told them I've called several times about it but they didn't care, they just keep telling me to wait 48 hours. I was told they would mail me a event monitor but still haven't received it. My last visit with the doctor on telemed, she said she had no control over it but would try to convince them to mail it to me. She would call me and let me know, it's been well over 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything from them. I also asked the doctor to refill my medicine at that visit and she still hasn't. I don't think they really care about their patients at all. They can be very mean on the phone also. As soon as I get the form from them, I will be switching to a nicer office and doctors that care about their patients. If you don't have high blood pressure you will after dealing with them.
