Horrendous experience. (My experience is regarding this specific location only. The Quakerbridge location is phenomenal.) I came here for my first mammogram and ultrasound of the surrounding tissues. I was here for hours and I mean HOURS. I'd say at least three. It was awful. First they had me change to a gown and wait in a small waiting area. I was there for an hour before I was seen. I got my mammogram by the sweetest tech ever. She was the only good part of this visit. Then I was told to wait back in waiting area with gown on to get the ultrasound. ANOTHER HOUR went by. Finally I was taken to get the ultrasound. I got it done by another technician who afterwards told me I was waiting for the radiologist doctor to come talk to me about my results. I waited, not joking, at least 40 minutes waiting in a gown sitting on the edge of an exam table for the doctor who never showed. The technician came back in and said the doctor was busy talking to someone so she, the technician, would tell me my results. That's unbelievable, especially considering I was in there because I felt a lump and was worried sick. The results she gave were just that it's fine and to keep a watch on it etc. I was finally sent home after 3+ hours of being here. Absolutely appalled at the treatment I received here. I was in there scared and just told essentially the doctor is too busy for me and I was given a partial report of my results. I left traumatized and upset. Princeton Radiology is conveniently located next to 573. This year I visited them to get an MRI done on my lower back to confirm a herniated disc. They made the entire patient in-take process feel seamless and very comfortable. Everybody in the office was respectful and professional. They took great care of me throughout the entire MRI procedure. read more

It took me many calls and leaving messages to try to get an appointment for an annual mammogram. I specifically asked them to call me back after a certain time as I work at a school. It finally took a visit to the actual office before I was able to get an appointment for 2 months out. The actual mammogram went fine but then the billing nightmare started. Princeton Radiology sent me a bill for the mammogram. I called and the call center said they would resubmit the bill to my insurance and supposedly verified my health plan ID number. Then I received another bill a month later. When I called again, the call center told me they had the wrong ID number for me. I tried to give them the correct ID number and the representative, in trying to take down the correct number, misstated the number twice before I finally got her to repeat the correct number to me. I miss Windsor Radiology where (1) I was able to get an appointment on my first phone call and (2) where I never received a bill for my mammogram or any other procedure that was covered by my insurance plan. I'm now looking for another radiology provider as Princeton Radiology has proved, without a doubt, that they are not able to provide the bare minimum of services. read more

Went in for an MRI of my shoulder. Staff were cordial, efficient and gave me an overview of what would be happening during my MRI. Made sure I was comfortable during my test and checked in on me during the MRI which lasted about 20 minutes. Overall stress less experience. Would not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends. read more

This office, located off of Princeton Hightstown Road (rt 571) is very accessible. I have been going here for at least 15 or more years. The waiting area is comfortable. I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes before they call me. The staff is friendly and the technicians kind and professional. Another plus is that when making an appointment, especially for a mammogram, you don't have to wait months or even weeks! Appointments seem to be readily available. read more

They don't tell you if the procedure is covered by insurance or not. I was asked to come for another scan since the 1st one was not done correctly and that was charged as a diagnostic. My insurance covers mammograms but I have to pay a deductible for diagnostic. Now I'm out of pocket $500. The healthcare system is a scam jointly run by the providers and insurance. read more

I've been coming to Windsor Radiology since they first opened (maybe close to 15 years ago). I've had everything from ultrasounds, x-rays, MRIs, to mammograms performed over the course of the years. Appointments are scheduled very quickly. There's hardly ever a long waiting period. Most of the time, they are able to schedule an appointment for the week I call; sometimes even for that day. The facility, located on the first floor of the Medical Builidng, is very clean and modern. Everyone from the initial appointment scheduler, intake receptionists to the radiology techs have been super friendly, nice and efficient. I have not had one bad experience here in all these years. read more

I will start of by stating that maybe I was expecting too much- I mean my 7 YO had only broken some fingers on his hand and the ice-pak and ice from home had melted by the time we got our appointment and diagnosis. And the hand was pretty swollen and hurting. My spouse inquired with one of the front desk person if they had an ice pak- they did not so we asked instead politely for ice that they did have and a glove to pack the ice in to keep the swelling and pain down. She just seemed very unwilling to move or offer help of any sort- but finally conceded that she could get it. So we waited for another 15 mins and my spouse inquired again- this time she was frankly combative and disrespectful and stated that she had already told us that they were not allowed to give out ice or gloves. She clearly dreamed that part up- She had not told us! Not sure if she was simply having a bad day- or amnesia but seriously Windsor Radiology you need receptionists with a little more empathy and understanding. Nothing was wrong with my experience getting my test done or setting up my appointment. The place is nice, didn't wait long. People seem nice. My problem is more with their back office. They told me they calculated my out of pocket costs ahead of time and charged me up front which is their policy. No problem, however they calculated incorrectly and I've been chasing them for a $100 refund for well over a month now. read more

I specifically requested a tech who is very patient and caring. I was very nervous to receive an internal pelvic ultrasound, due to some traumatic experiences I've dealt with (including pelvic pain)... When I met the tech, and explained my nerves, she said ..."don't be nervous..." and nothing else... she had me start inserting the wand, and then she was trying to insert it fast and it felt very uncomfortable...I had to ask her to slow down ... She did ask (once), if I was ok during the ultrasound, but didn't even attempt to comfort or distract me ... ...as a woman, I was hoping to deal with somebody with more compassion...I was actually quite sad after this experpence. But, anyway, it's done...the results will be in in two to three days. read more

I have literally no idea why this place does not have five stars! I'm actually mind blown. Since day one of making my appointment I have had nothing but 10 star costumer service which is obviously important when dealing with offices. The place is immaculate, water in waiting room, huge facility & fast wait time. My appointment was at 8:45am I was 5 minutes late because I went to the wrong office. I was lucky they still took me in and quickly too. I had the pleasure of doing my abdominal sonogram with Gail and she went above and beyond. She was truly as sweet as pie! Front desk was so helpful & on top of their game. I move to the area March and have yet to find a place with such amazing employees! Keep up the great work guys! Horrible, do not come to this place. They make you wait forever, just to make an appointment in person. Then they ask you to come 30 min early then wait for another hour. The worse the result isn't accurate, their technician was so careless and didn't make the X-ray right so I was told to go back and do it again! read more

I was very pleased with the efficiency of how this place is run. My doctor sent in a request for an ultrasound, and they called me within two hours to schedule. They had a next day appointment at 7 pm. When I arrived I was taken back right away with no wait. I received a call by 12 pm the next day that my images and report were available for pick up! Denied a chest x-ray that I needed to rule out chest infection per their 'new policy' because I couldn't say there was zero chance I was pregnant. I was told first that I'd need to get a drugstore pregnancy test (as if those don't have false negatives), and then when I pointed out those wouldn't even work at the day of the month I was on, they then backtracked but then told me I wouldn't be able to get the X-ray until my next period (weeks later). Medical consensus (look it up) says there's no risk from a chest X-ray that doesn't target the pelvic area to a pregnancy. Ridiculous, unscientific, and unprofessional. read more

Just tried to book an X-ray for my son. The curt and impatient tone of the scheduler was so off putting, and really upsetting, that I decided this group does not need my business. I am still trying to calm down from the really unpleasant interaction. It is a shame because the office is so lovely, but they obviously do not need customers. read more

I have always had good experiences at Windsor Radiology in East Windsor. The front desk staff , Alexis and Kathy, are pleasant and efficient. My most recent technicians, Gail in ultrasound and Chris and Mari in MRI made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Celeste, the administrator, answered all of my questions. I first visited Windsor Radiology about 20+ years ago for an MRI. I don't know why anyone would give them less than a 5 star rating. I've had to go back for other MRIs ( new machine now which is great), x-rays and even a CAT scan. Every time each person was extremely professional and friendly. Front Desk staff need major 'customer service' skills. The last couple of times I went in to grab my cd from a previous imaging visit, the main desk assistants Quickly asked me to sign in and when I went to communicate the reason I was there they said they did not care and Said that I still needed to sign in. Each time they mentioned they were busy in the middle of a scan ( or something ) as if I was completely and totally bothering them and then directed me to another desk assistant On the other side of the wall. It would probably help if they put a sign up saying please go to this next desk assistant and not go right to the main one, especially, if they're busy and are going to be rude about it as if we know What they are doing!! read more

I am disappointed in Windsor radiology due to a disrespectful MRI technician. I was unable to complete my MRI due to anxiety and the technician was annoyed and went on to trivialize the severity of my injury. She seemed very judgmental for a person who works in the medical field. I am not sure I will come here again for an MRI. It is a shame because this is the closest location to my house. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Used to be a very good facility, but quality has severely declined. Took forever to book appointment for test child needed quickly. They said test had to be first thing in the morning so since that was Thursday I was happy to get appointment for the following Monday. Before closing Friday they left message on my answering machine canceling appointment with no explanation or reason given. Tried reaching them Saturday. Despite website and main phone tree recording saying they open at 8:00 they were closed. Spent 1 hour on Monday trying to find out why appointment was cancelled. Finally got to rep who scheduled appointment. Said she "was an idiot and forgot they don't do pediatric studies". REALLY! Told to call their affiliate Princeton Radiology and spent another 15 minutes on hold to schedule appointment. Lady there very nice and helpful, but soonest available appointment at any of four other facilities was 9 days after date of original appointment After many years will be finding new radiology facility. read more
