I asked for the paperwork to submit to the courts like they say on the phone they will provide. They refused to give it to me and said,"You are not ready for it." Seriously? I don't need to be told whether or not I am ready to file. That is my decision and they lied because that paperwork is something they said they provide and will type up for you at the mediation. When I ended up having to go to court to get the mediation agreement upheld because my spouse wanted to back out on it, the courts did not uphold the agreement because the mediator told my spouse's lawyer it wasn't a final agreement, which was a lie. Basically they wanted us to have to come back to mediation yet again and spend tons more money. Don't waste your time, money, and energy. This is NOT a mediator on the court approved list. You can get the domestic mediator list from the Kalamazoo City Office.
