With every visit, he starts by listening. He listens to my problems and progress. The exercises he gives me are never the same routines. They are always based on the state of my body. Victor is constantly talking to his patients, explaining the problem and educating them about how the body works and how the exercise helps etc. He has helped me not only through treatments, dry needling but also all the education I got with each visit. When I am doing the exercise he assigns, he always keeps an eye on me to make sure I am doing it right and if the exercise is right for me. And it's the same way he treats all his patients. If the exercise doesn't work as he expected, he comes up with an alternative right away. Everyone who works there is warm and friendly. They know your names and even patients greet each other by their first names. I definitely recommend them!

In the original evaluation, Justin listened to my injury history and asked pertinent questions to uncover the underlying cause of my problem. I went into this believing i had a long standing herniated disc problem, but with careful diagnostic questioning and evaluating, he determined i may actually have a si joint dysfunction instead that radiates pain to my lower back. He and Matt are great- they are awesome at explaining why i am doing the different exercises and stretches. And when I leave in less pain than when I went in, I feel hopeful and happy to finally have a chance to become pain free through following the prescribed treatment.I can' t recommend them highly enough...if you have been living with low back pain for years like I have, consider getting a pt eval and give yourself a chance to become pain free. I finally decided that an MD wasn't going to help, so I set up an appointment with Dr. Adam Virgilio at CHCRC for today. After range of motion testing and a lot of probing and palpating, Dr. Adam affixed a traction sling under my son's jaw and gently let it pull his neck. The pain stopped instantly! I was really excited to finally try physical therapy and went in with optimism. My first appt was with Jordan which was fine. Pretty routine but I was feeling good about it. However, by the time I left my second appt, which was with Caroline, I was feeling very indifferent. Towards the beginning of my session, I started having a reaction to the cupping she did on my neck, and I expressed my discomfort. It was my first time and didn't know what to expect so she told me to just sit through it. I tried, but I felt myself overheating and about to pass out so I asked her for a fan, and she just laughed at me... then I asked for an ice pack or something to lower my body temp and she resisted giving it to me because it would "mess with the process." I said I'll put it on my forehead since we were working on my neck. She is still hesitant so I eventually just let out a big sigh because now I'm feeling faint and my medical professional is arguing with me about helping me... only then did she say "ok fine I'll go get ice." And proceeded to be short and dismissive for the rest of the visit. But, I remained hopeful so I simply asked not to be scheduled with her anymore. My next three appts were with Brenton and Laura, the only two decent people that I met there (other than front desk). They actually listened to my concerns and requests and were really informative, helpful, and friendly. They wanted to make sure I was feeling good before leaving and I always did. My last two visits with Jordan felt dismissive and condescending. There would be a lot of chatting amongst most of staff in the open rooms, which came across as inattentive at times. Especially when, for the most part, they don't have any intention on including you in the conversation. I just left my last appt with Jordan early because I was told I was princess-y and demanding for asking about using a larger heating pad. Laura had used one for my whole back when I told her it was hurting, or which she said she took note of in my file. At this point I just want to leave so I used the smaller one he already got and finished my last exercise. He proceeded to 'jokingly' ask if I wanted scones too and later handed me my heating pad and 'jokingly' said "here you can carry your own heating pad." That's when I left. All of that to say, if you value professionalism in an environment like this then perhaps look elsewhere. I have never actually taken the time to write a review, but I've never seen anything like this before..

I cannot recommend Salude to anyone looking for rehabilitation for a loved one…read more Before my father-in-law was discharged from the hospital, I received a call from Salude confirming that he had been accepted and that a room would be available that Thursday. Having previously worked there, I was genuinely excited because I believed it would be a wonderful place for him to continue his rehabilitation. Unfortunately, that confidence quickly disappeared. After my father-in-law was discharged from the hospital, he was transported directly to Salude. He was admitted, placed in his room, and we met him there. The first thing we noticed was the unbearable heat. The building's air conditioning was not working, and there were portable AC units scattered throughout the facility. At no point before his admission did anyone disclose that the AC was out. This was especially concerning for a rehabilitation facility caring for elderly and medically fragile patients. It got even worse. As we left briefly to buy him necessities, we received a phone call saying there was "a problem"--Salude had suddenly realized they didn't accept his insurance. How does a facility receive all of a patient's insurance information, approve the admission, coordinate the hospital discharge, transport the patient to the facility, move him into a room, and only then discover they don't accept his insurance? That level of incompetence is simply unacceptable. When I spoke with Natasha (a worker at Salude) to try to understand what had happened, I expected empathy and accountability. Instead, I was met with rudeness and an attitude. As someone who works as an advocate, I asked reasonable questions and pushed back on the situation. Rather than trying to help, it felt like I was treated as though I was the problem. The proposed solution was even more unbelievable--they wanted to transport my father-in-law back to the hospital by medical transport at our expense. Absolutely not. If we were paying for medical transport, we were going to choose where he went, and we refused to send him back to the hospital because of Salude's mistake. Thankfully, everything worked out for the best. We found an amazing rehabilitation facility with working air conditioning, compassionate staff, and people who genuinely cared about their patients. If your loved one needs rehabilitation, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Salude has clearly gone downhill since I worked there, and after this experience, I understand why so many of the people I once worked with have left. For anyone looking for exceptional rehabilitation care, I highly recommend Parkside Ellijay. The difference in professionalism, compassion, and patient care was night and day.

Poor care of husband. He had bed sores that went unattended until I insisted on wound nurse…read more Facility had no heat for weeks . My husband had 4 blankets on him. Rehab was a joke. No progress was made to get him up and to stand. He was too weak and they should have work on getting him stronger instead of pushing him to stand and he was not ready to stand due to no strength. He was sent to ER after contacting Flu there and a month later contacted covid there. Needless to say we brought him home. He is do much better now.
