After catching someone's eye, I had a menu in hand and a drink order on the docket. The speed with which these hard-working women were moving behind the bar and out to all the tables in this cozy bar & grill was nothing short of amazing. As with most places these days, it sounded like there may have been some call outs/short staffing but had I not overheard I may not have known the difference. I settled in and after a short time, I had a Guinness and a pulled pork sandwich in front of me. The pulled pork was very tasty and came on a giant ciabatta roll. A small bag of Lays potato chips accompanied the plate as well as a pickle spear. A good dining option before entering Baxter State Park or if you are staying at Big Moose. The buffet was a little lame with hot dogs, dry hamburgers, cold Mac and cheese, potato salad and a couple of noodle salads, but it was only $12.50. The band was awesome - great choice of tunes and a family affair with a 12 year old drummer you never would've guessed he hasn't been playing for years. No regrets making the 3 hour drive up to see this once in a lifetime experience, though the drive back was 5 hours!!
