After catching someone's eye, I had a menu in hand and a drink order on the docket. The speed with which these hard-working women were moving behind the bar and out to all the tables in this cozy bar & grill was nothing short of amazing. As with most places these days, it sounded like there may have been some call outs/short staffing but had I not overheard I may not have known the difference. I settled in and after a short time, I had a Guinness and a pulled pork sandwich in front of me. The pulled pork was very tasty and came on a giant ciabatta roll. A small bag of Lays potato chips accompanied the plate as well as a pickle spear. A good dining option before entering Baxter State Park or if you are staying at Big Moose. After 5 visits to Sawmill, I can confidently tell you food will not disappoint and the service is unmatched. Staff is super friendly and the vibe in there is incredibly low key and relaxing.
