In the interim, I changed health plans and did not have my new card from my new provider yet. That provider, Aetna PPO, sent me a letter with my new info, plus my I.D. #. It stated clearly that I was to provide the letter to reception at any doctor's office on the Aetna list and it would be honored and accepted. Well, guess what? Not only did they reject it on sight, but they did not care to help in any way. It was "our way or the highway." Their only response was "make another appointment and come back in three months"! The receptionist and especially the office manager were curt and rude about it in front of the other patients in the waiting room. I was literally being thrown out. So the only treatment I received at Dermatology Associates was callousness and embarrassment. The golden lining: Six days later, I showed up at Lux Dermatology still without my card. Within two minutes, a lovely, smiling receptionist told me, "No problem. Your I.D. is right there. Have a seat." The stellar treatment I got there was helpful, caring and healing. Just what I was looking for. Kudos and stars to Lux.

He used an alloderm graft to correct retraction, but the graft got completely dissolved by my body. Furthermore he performed orbital decompression which made my corners decompressed. I have now severe retraction with blunted corners. Before the surgery, my corners were never touched, I only had some slight retraction. My consult with him was via skype and lasted only 10 minutes. I regret going to him and would not advise him.
