Based on this stay, I think I'm done with the Hampton Inn franchise. Let's take the cons first. The breakfast area could have used more refresh. Saturday was much more crowded than any of the other days. I disappointedly left a full bowl of Frosted Flakes on the counter after finding the milk canister bare. The eggs were hit and miss. Sometimes they were scrambled and sometimes they were the weird "omelettes", which showed up after the scrambled were gone. The kill shot for me was a black sludge that I noticed floating on top of the Malted Vanilla batter when I filled a cup. Haven't seen anything like that in the past 3 decades, so it went right in the trash, and I'll never trust Hampton Inn waffle batter again. One minor annoyance: I made myself a hot chocolate using the courtesy bar packet and hot water, however, the hot water was room temperature, and I had to ditch the drink. When I clogged the first floor common area men's bathroom commode, I brought it to the front desk's attention, but there was no maintenance on staff that day. A thousand pardons to any high-alert traveller that proceeded me. The pool is of the indoor variety, like a 1970s Boys Club. The jacuzzi was out of order. The shower was a tad low-flow for me, but the water was hot. And to top it off, I was double-charged after pre-paying. However, the front desk staff was very friendly. The elevators were in-service and worked well. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi worked at an acceptable speed. I was always able to find a parking space. But based on previous visits to the area, I shall be staying elsewhere in the future. read more

Pool has been in process of being renovated for several months. No weights in the weight room, but staff was professional. Room was clean.

Clean and calming upon arrival. I forgot my phone charger and the front attendant was beyond pleasant and let me barrow one. I highly recommend this location. Also, yes the room was perfect after a long day of traveling. read more

It got the job done for about as cheap as one can stay in the Nashville metro area. It's definitely fall as they had brought out the pumpkin spice waffle batter which was a big hit. They have EV charging but not enough as every unit was full the whole time I was there. They definitely need to add some more as it is one of the primary reasons for choosing this location. read more

Stayed here for a work assignment in the area. The room was decent, clean and had all the amenities one would expect. The shower had variable streams and good water pressure so a definite plus. The free breakfast was on par for hotel meals. I didn't get to try the indoor pool but it looked inviting. The free Wi-Fi is slow and meant for emails. There is a $5 upgrade available which I feel I get at other chains for free. Wish they had better pillows. About 15 minutes east of the airport and downtown Nashville and well away from street noise. read more

Bed Bugs! The room was infested with them - crawling on the wall and counter, etc. and when we told the manager and housekeeping they did not seem surprised. Pictures attached. They said they could refund the room cost but refused to help us clean up the issue to be made whole. They refused to do anything else. Upon contacting bed bug treatment companies the proper treatment we were told for luggage was to replace it (there went $200) because you can't fully remove them and clothing was to wash on hot however we had to buy 1 set of clothes new that we could wear while our clothes were washing (~$10+ for commercial washing). So we bought cheap clothes to wear so we weren't naked while our clothes washed. So we simply requested reimbursement for those costs. Nothing crazy just a reasonable solution. Hampton & Hampton corp. Diamond desk refused to help cover those costs. Really disappointing. They said have a free night certificate - I said 'I don't want want I simply want you to reimburse the receipts for solving this problem you caused.' They sent a certificate after and then said 'you've been compensated' even when I said I'd send it back. I've stayed at Hilton properties of all types all over the world as well as Marriott and never encountered this disgusting experience or seen this disregard for the customer. They used to have great service and would focus on ensuring any guest issues that arose were resolved. read more

Absolutely perfect. I travel all the time, I've come to expect really nice hotel rooms. My wife does not travel often, so when I was upgraded to a King suite at this Hampton, she was impressed. She said it's the nicest hotel room ever. I don't argue with the boss, I just make it happen. Very large room, very clean, comfortable bed. Extremely quiet on a weekend night. Free wifi worked great. Great location, right next to the Interstate. Good parking. This was a really nice Hampton. read more

This hotel is absolutely DISGUSTING. In our first assigned room, there was toe nails all in the floor and an actual shit skid mark on one of the towels in the bathroom. After complaining, we got a new room. This room had toenails IN THE BED, stains on the carpet and comforter, mold on the shower head, and the bathroom light didn't even work. Words can't describe how nasty I feel after staying here. The only reason I didn't go to a different hotel is because it was late, my 7 month old was already sleeping and we had a 10 hour drive the next day. This place is so unsanitary. Honestly, this hotel was pushing me to my limits. The only positive was that the pool was indoors and that the shower pressure was good. Besides that, if you can avoid it, go somewhere else. The TV light was burned out, so I couldn't watch a movie. The HDMI attached for the cable was broken when we arrived, so you could be hook up anything to the TV. I called the front desk for assistance, but I got a useless response from the front desk clerk. I travel to Nashville frequently, and I have never had such a poor experience with a Hilton Hotel. Additionally, the water is being turned off in the morning for an inspection. When I called to make my reservation, I feel I should have been informed of this. It certainly would have impacted my choice of where to stay. While the location is nice and outside the city, I would avoid this hotel in the future. read more

We checked in and brought up all of our stuff. I start to run the bath. The water was like warm at best. Some one installed a valve that doesn't open all the way.The valve has a STOP, to keep it from opening enough for the water to be even warm. The sink has plenty of really hot water, so it wasn't a water heater issue. I stopped in to be able to soak my legs, due to my arthritis. To try and get relief I have a microwave heating pad. But this room did not have a microwave. I would not be writing this review if i had been a malfunction. But I can't believe the lenghts this hotel went to to save a dollar. read more

We were a little concerned at first when we came to the front desk. The girl working must have been having a bad day or something as she was extremely unpleasant. We got there a bit early so decided to go run some errands and come back. The girl, Faith, that helped us at the front desk when we got back was absolutely delightful!!! Other than that first girl we encountered every single staff member we came across was so friendly and warm. The room was beautiful, clean, the bed was comfortable and the facilities were immaculate. Awesome. We walked in around 11:15pm very tired after along day of rough travel. I walked up to the front counter where I was greeted with a friendly smile and "How are ya doing tonight, brother?" When I told him my name, immediately he literally reached under the desk and handed me our room key. Boom. Done. We got to our room and found it perfectly clean, with nicer decor than I expect at this price point. The room layout is a little different, but it's spacious and functional. While parking near the front door was all taken, I readily found a spot near a door easily roomy enough for my oversized SUV. I'm quite pleased with this hotel! read more

Not only five-star for the clean rooms and the good breakfast and other amenities but the five star is definitely for the staff! Rolled in last night after an 8 Hour Drive and the woman that checked me in I believe Michelle could not of been any nicer or more helpful and accommodating. But the real five star was Vicki who was on the overnight shift and when I said I had to be on the road before 6 AM she actually dashed to the kitchen before it opened put together a whole breakfast plate for me and a bag of snacks to travel with! This place was wonderful, the staff was super sweet and so helpful! There was a little mess up with accidentally walking into a dirty room but that ok, things happen. We went down stairs and got a new room. The front desk woman was very sweet! The new room was clean, the beds were so comfy and we got off a long plane ride and just crashed! Well, the location is excellent, right off the freeway in bustling Mt Juliet. I checked in and noticed the business center was locked with a sign on it saying "closed". Clerk said it would be opened in a couple of days. I also noticed a sign on the hot tub saying under repair?? Went to my room, and after a few minutes turned tv on for news. TV did not come on. Called. After a 20 minute wait, young lady tried to fix, but could not!? Why me ? ? Breakfast quality was mediocre, but lady supervising was very nice, polite, and helpful. (thanks) I wasn't 100% pleased, obviously. I asked about getting reimbursed (as they advertise this if you're not happy) and I'm still waiting for my check after many months. Go figure ! ! read more

A one night stay here was uneventful. We arrived around 2 PM and our room wasn't ready.... After a 20 minute wait or so, they had it ready. Typical Hampton Inn. The place was clean... The staff was pleasant and I got a great rate. The location was great... several places to eat very close.... Actually too close. When we arrived back at the hotel around 10PM, there was No parking anywhere... It turns out that there was a pay per view fight at the Buffalo Wild Wings next door that drew a huge crowd.... It was annoying to have to park in the lot of some dentist a few buildings over... So, besides their parking issues, they scream "average" just like every other Hampton Inn. read more

If your heading west to Nashville stay here, especially if you have a dog. I researched pet friendly hotels in Nashville and I kept reading reviews about the lack of grass. This place has plenty of grass and they embrace their canine guests. The coffee was always hot and fresh. While heading into Nashville I recognized several of the pet friendly hotels that I had researched and they were all next to the loud crowded highway and had no green space. I have stayed at the Hampton Inn and suites several times, because I have relatives in the area. Recently, our family had a reunion in Mt. Juliet. This experience was the best of all. We obtained a suite for 5. The room was clean and comfortable with breakfast included at a reasonable price. Frig. & micro. very helpful. The staff was polite and helpful. They have a nice swimming pool. Only Down side: Best to stay away from the hot tub- Probably not very sanitary- scummy water. Other than that the Hampton can't be beat. AAA discount too. read more

The staff has no idea what they're doing, every single associate was rude and unwilling to work through the situation that THEY CAUSED. They attempted to charge $450 dollars for a single night that was reserved at $179 through a third party that THEY USE REGULARLY. They couldn't figure out what they royally screwed up so they blamed and talked down to the customer instead of trying at all. Thank god booking.com has at least one competent employee because Hampton would've been in court over this. Will never stay at another Hilton based property again. Thieves I stayed at the Mt Juliet Hampton Inn for 6 days last week for a business trip. Upon returning home I found I had been charged an addition $250 on my credit card. I called in to inquire about the charge and was told its was for an addition room cleaning fee for "smoking" in the room. I am NOT a smoker, and did NOT smoke in the room! I was put in to contact with the GM Cally Alumbaugh Jacobs, who was extremely inconsiderate and insisted there is not way for her to remove this charge once it has been placed. I asked to speak to here superior and told there is no one above her, which I know is a lie, she doesn't own the building, someone hired her..... I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company and never giving any of my business to the Mt Juliet branch of Hampton Inn. I suggest you do the same so they wont steal your money as well. read more

Plenty of franchised places to eat/drink within walking distances and a few non-franchised places too. Nearby a Target, a Kroger, fuel, and various food-styles within walking distances and/or a very short suburban-sprawl-styled drive. read more

Location is ridiculously far from Nashville proper, but if you like chain restaurants and stores then you are in luck - tons of options in under 5 minute driving time. The real plus here is the indoor pool (especially for kids), which is really nice and big. Hotel is newer and well maintained. Rooms are typical for this chain - good size and clean for cost. Parking is convenient and proximity to highway is helpful. Breakfast is typical. read more

Family of 5 got the family suite. Ample parking for our uhaul. Super friendly staff. Pool was clean. Room was a two bed and one pull out couch #304. It was perfect for us. Kids loved the breakfast and the coffee was good and strong. Very clean place. We stayed on a week night. Only giving 4 stars because the beds were uncomfortable. Bedding was nice but mattresses were not. Definitely recommend for families. read more

Great overall hotel. Rooms are always very up to date and spacious. The big issue here was the front desk staff. I had to extend my stay for business and asked for two more nights. The man was very very unprofessional stating there is nothing at all and its so booked everywhere because of car shows in the area. He said good luck finding any hotel around here because they are all full you wont find a room. I was completely shocked at his attitude, I understand if its booked and cant extend the stay but maybe be more caring and suggest calling another hotel around the area or something to at least pretend like you care or want to help.....not basically telling me I should sleep in my car or bus stop. Not a bad deal, for the price. The rooms were clean, although room service took until at least 12-1:00 to get to our room each morning so it was a hassle trying to plan around them. Also, for this quality level of a hotel I was surprised the free WIFI was only for 1 day. It seems a bit desperate on their part to try and rake in a few extra bucks. I would still pick this place over the other area hotels I saw, and I found a simple "fix" for the Wi-Fi problem. read more
