This is a decent hotel. They had hot breakfast which includes sausage, pancake, yogurts, fruits and cereal. The yogurt from the machine was a nice touch. The room was decent size. The hotel itself is newer. We stayed here for two nights. One of the elevator was not working for a few hours on both days when we stayed here. This was the "Okay-est" of okay hotels that I have ever stayed in... The location is great, especially for where the work I was doing is at. It's convenient to I-40 and there is lots of food options nearby. It's a relatively new hotel, and everything in the public spaces and the room was very clean. This is a budget hotel, don't let anyone tell you it isn't. The mattress in the bed was horrible. I felt every single spring in the mattress, and the sheets were very uncomfortable (perhaps 100 count if I'm being generous). The pillows were not firm at all. Normally, you get a mix of firm and floppy, these were below floppy on the scale - possibly even "deflated". Hated them. The room was very modern, and everything functioned okay - except the toilet. It was one of those lovely 1.6L "eco-toilets" and it barely could cycle with nothing in it. That was frustrating. The shower was plenty warm, after about 5 minutes of pre-heating. It was a low-flow "eco" shower head, so the flow was underwhelming. One of my biggest complaints was that the soap and lotion is "bulk style" (which is normal these days), but the bottles are all squeeze bottles. It was pretty inconvenient to dispense the soap and shampoo when in use. They have smart TVs with netflix and plenty of options, the room was clean and the breakfast is the standard Hilton fare. As I said above, plenty of good eateries and a drug store nearby, it gets high marks for location. If you are particular with mattress and pillows, I'd stay somewhere else. This is a newer hotel it seems like - still well kept up. Staff was great. The room was clean and a typical "Hilton" room that you would expect. I would stay here again definitely. It is away from the highway a little so no road noise all night :) Alot of food and shopping near by read more

Hilton Tru at Mt.Juliet. The hotel is located near Nashville Tennessee. It's a bout 22 minutes away from downtown Nashville. The hotel is wonderful. I think this is the best Tru by the Hilton I have ever stayed at before. The hotel is combined with the Hilton Garden Inn. The two hotels are together. The price for one night stay is $113.00. It's really easy to navigate through the hotel by following the signs. As you enter through the lobby, You can see how big the lobby area is. On you left, you have a pool table and many other fun games while you left is a dining area and a golf simulator for all those golfers out there. The golf simulator can also play baseball with the same players. Just switch the mode. The price for the simulator is $40.00 to play for entire hour. It's a lot of activity to do in the hotel. After you get your key. You go up to your room and when you open the door. The room is amazing. They are so modern and welcoming. The tv was good size and the beds was so comfortable. The bathroom was clean and really nice too. I could sleep all day long in those rooms. I love the shower. The pressure is just right. Felt like I was in a hot tube but shower form. It's a great room to stay. The staff was friendly and really Helpful during our stay (6/18/23) They was welcoming and make us feel like we was home. The lady in the front had a smile and very nice to check us in. We highly recommend her. She was great. Unfortunately, I did forget her name. They rest of the staff was good. The house keepers wanted to make sure our rooms was fully clean before we enter. Such a great team all around. We didn't get to the fitness room or the pool. There was a lot of guest during our stay so we just went downtown Nashville. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast or the bar either. We didn't wake up on time and we drink alcohol in downtown Nashville. We didn't get to accommodate the games or simulator either but they all look fun to try. If you don't want to do anything at the hotel then they do have a shopping center right across the street and food places. Like Target, Ross etc. They are only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We do recommend the Tru Hotel at Mt.Juliet. The hotel is clean and very nice staff. You will be welcomed home to your stay at the Tru. Overall 4.8/5 read more

Bed bugs in Room 561. Called the hotel the next day and asked to speak with a manager. Front desk said they were not available to discuss the situation but she would have them call. That was two weeks ago and no call. I get that bed bugs can be a problem anywhere, but the lack of communication is unacceptable. read more

I've never come across a hotel of this type. Geared toward the millennial-minded, not age exclusive, the hotel has outlets for all types of technology, clean lines, mid-century modern feel, loaded with color. Picture a very fancy youth hostel in Europe, combined with a modern college dormitory. That's the best way I can prepare a GenXer for this brand. It was dun, nobody wa raucous or loud, and it felt like a community. In the lobby which the company calls their hive, is access to a pantry shop, a game room including foosball giant Jenga and a pool table, also virtual golf. There is a bar and restaurant in the lobby as well, linking the Garden Inn and Tru lobbies. During our stay one of the fire sensors was set off, but there was no fire. Thankfully the Mount Juliet fire department was here quickly (a good thing) to clear the building for safety and shut off the alarms. Breakfast was just okay, I would recommend the coffee. I have to say, the staff was extremely accommodating and very helpful. Upon check-in I noted that we have neurodivergent people in our party who are sensitive to noise, and we were given a room on a higher floor with less likelihood of hearing children stomping around above us all night. The beds are pretty comfortable, the quilt kind of got pushed down, but that's not the hotel's fault, rather my companion's. In the morning when my daughter lost her phone, two managers with the hotel helped us to search, using our Life360 app, asking around to see if anyone has seen it, even notifying other staff on the walkie-talkie to keep an eye out. Fortunately we did find the phone! If we are ever stopping in the Mount Juliet area again, we will not hesitate to return to this lovely interesting Hotel! read more

Business Travel 7/30-8/8 of 2022 It's definitely a 2star. Rooms are tiny, bare-bones, and boring. This particular TRU has 2 advantages, 1: it's brand new so everything is still clean and tidy.....2: it shares a lobby with a Hilton Garden so you have a nice bar with some light food options and ample seating. There is nothing special about the TRU section of the hotel, it has very little to offer on its own. There is a tiny fridge in the room, no closet space (just a pipe) and no drawers (just a shelf). Not a huge deal if you travel for a couple of days, but for 10 days of clothes it would be nice to put everything away and hide your luggage. The linens are trash, the towels are small and cheap so you need to waste 2 towels after a shower. Considering this hotel still isn't refreshing your rooms unless you request it, they should invest in better linens and more of them. Hallways are full of trash bags people leave behind, again nobody is coming to take your trash unless you ask. The breakfast is not like a traditional buffet "section" with plenty of room, it's literally a tiny room about the size of a bedroom, with sliding glass doors that only open with your room key. So you walk in and there's 20 people n top of each other then you walk out to sit in the lobby as the doors close behind you. Never seen anything like it, very uncomfortable and everybody seemed annoyed by the idea of being stuck in a small space trying to get food. There is not enough parking for these 2 hotels, maybe for 1 and I'm being generous. There are cars lined all along the sides of the driveways daily. 1 star for friendly staff 1 star for having a convenient location. read more

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this hotel. I am a mom that was traveling with 3 boys under age 11. We were with several other baseball families. We went to the pool at 3:00pm. We had some canned beers (there was no sign at the pool that said we couldn't). Cassidy McMicheals (manager) told us we could not and we had to buy from the hotel bar. I respected her, threw mine out, took unopened to the car and did not drink for the rest of the day. She crazily paced the lobby on the phone, stared through the window and continued to harass us for hours. She called the cops (I was not even there; I was in my room). At 8:00pm, I came down to buy a drink from the bar and I was told that they could not serve me. I went to talk with Cassidy and she of course was rude. I did get loud with her because I was doing exactly what she asked of me (us) ALL day and I should have been able to purchase a drink! After I said my peace, I walked away and went to my room. Other people in the baseball group were loud with her too. She called the cops again. And, 2 officers came to my room and I (only ME!) was forced to pack and leave the hotel with 3 kids at 11pm at night! No one else in the group had to leave but me. I never touched her, I only was loud with her, I was not drunk, I did not bother anyone else in the hotel....nothing. It was excessive force, humiliation for me and my children, harassment, and discrimination of just me. I was not the only one trying to have a good time after spending money at the Hilton Tru, but I was the only one who was treated so poorly. I should be given my money back for being treated so poorly, but I have not. Corporate will not talk with me because the cops were called. If you are trying to have a good time with a group, I would not travel to this hotel. Cassidy acted very crazy and the cops should have never been called. We were doing what she asked she just didn't like anything. She is a controlling, power hungry person who needs to be put in a different role. read more

I am at the hotel and I had a horrible experience with the front desk employee. She was rude, did not have time, and acted as if my stay was an inconvenience to her. My family and have stayed here for a long while, while my husband was training for a job. Myself and my boys have been here just exploring. The rooms are nice and clean. Staff is available at any time and if there is anything wrong with your room they will do their best to resolve the issue. Breakfast is simple . Your classic eggs and sausage, pancakes, cereal, toast, bagels. The pool is heated for those cooler days and it's surrounded by a gate which makes this momma feel safe. There's a common room with a pool table, foosball table and a couple of games. Coffee is always available. The staff is super friendly. My favorite was Jadonna. She has greeted us and helped us with anything she could possibly do. She went above and beyond to make sure we ate breakfast and had everything we needed. She also told us about park near us and when the weather would be conducive to us being outside. She was just so helpful and kind. Thank you Tru for a great experience! read more
