    Staff is rude and threatened to tow our oversized vehicle because it is larger than one spot.

    This Hotel was very clean from the parking lot to the rooms. Rates were the best value dollar for dollar I had seen in some time.

    Awesome breakfast! Everything else is very nice too. Comfortable. Close to restaurants and tons of other stuff.

The customer service was the best we've ever experienced & we always choose Marriott for our stays. Just to mention a few of these awesome employees: Stephanie the bartender, Erma & Yvonne, Hope the breakfast cook, the friendly young maintenance man (Hispanic, young, longish hair) who I unfortunately didn't get his name, also Daniel & Julie at the front desk. The outdoor heated pool was our favorite part, always the perfect temperature, even in February! Awesome gym, very clean. Nice hot complimentary breakfast every morning with very friendly attendants. People shouldn't write negative reviews just because of the highway construction because that is completely out of the hotel's control! Love that it's pet friendly & the staff treats you like family. I highly recommend this Marriott! A few constructive criticisms: add doors on the showers, update the pillows, & keep the coffee station open later lol! I appreciated her assistance and felt optimistic about my stay. Unfortunately, my experience today was the complete opposite. I returned around noon and found myself and another guest waiting at the front desk with no staff in sight--for at least 10 minutes. During that time, the hotel phone was ringing nonstop, and the attendant had even left their cell phone unattended on the counter. It was a confusing and unprofessional scene. She was gone long enough that I actually looked into the back office and on the floor behind the counter bc I was worried for her. When the front desk employee finally returned, there was no greeting, no apology for the wait--just a cold, dismissive attitude. I had grabbed a snack and asked to check out, and instead of assisting me, she acted as if I was bothering her. She pointed me to the self-checkout machine and gave me an attitude when I mentioned it wasn't working. Rather than stepping in to help, she insisted on walking me through how to use the broken machine without a barcode instead of just handling the checkout herself. It was as if she felt I was bothering her and I was the lazy one. When I tried to explain that I'd tried the machine, she cut me off, nearly raising her voice as if to say "didn't I just tell you..." The whole ordeal was crazy. Had she not leveled her tone, I can 100% how that conversation would've gone downhill. Her tone and demeanor throughout the interaction were unprofessional and made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Even after the exchange, there was no "thank you," no "have a good day," just continued dismissiveness. I remained respectful, but the lack of basic customer service and courtesy was disappointing. A good hotel experience is built on consistent, welcoming service--and this inconsistency definitely left a negative impression. I stay at Hilton often, but this woman at this location will be remembered for how nasty she was. Update: After sitting on this a little longer, I decided to call in and actually speak w leadership. Imagine my surprise to find out that the rude employee is a front desk supervisor. Wow! What a poor example!!

I attached their email to me after I contacted them…read moreabout my vehicle along with eight other vehicles being broken into the night/morning of Dec. 27/28 2025. Mr. XXXXXXX, I am writing regarding the unfortunate incident involving your vehicle during your stay at our hotel. I am truly sorry that this occurred and understand how upsetting and stressful this experience must have been. Please accept my apologies for the delay in reaching out. I have just returned from vacation, and my Front Office Manager has since informed me of the details surrounding what happened. The safety and peace of mind of our guests are extremely important to us. Please know that we are reviewing this matter internally and are working with the Schertz Police Department to determine what additional measures can be taken to help prevent situations like this in the future. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Should you need any additional assistance or have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. My response tho their weak response below to my initial email....... Firstly it is not stressful to me, so don't tell me you understand, because you don't! And I don't think you or your front office manager really cares as long as the money keeps flowing in! Secondly it's too late for the apology! Thirdly I am not bringing this matter to your attention, the Shertz PD informed me and other guests that had been broken into that night that this issue has been ongoing at your hotel for quite a while now. Your front desk confirmed this, they also confirmed that you had security at one time and stopped the service so the safety and peace of mind of your guests are not important to you or your hotel. Refunding the money that I wasted on the two nights we stayed would be a good first step but that's not going to happen. You let people keep making reservations without informing them that you have an ongoing problem with vehicle smash and grabs!! You are not honest!! This hotel is worthless and they don't give a crap about your health or safety!!!!!!!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!!! Stay at this hotel at your own risk!!!!!!!!!

The room was very spacious it had a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove top and all the utensils you would need to cook with. The living room couch turns into a bed if needed. They serve a complimentary breakfast every morning that was packed with all things breakfast. They had cereal, coffee, tea, muffins, pastries, bagels, waffles, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, etc. They offered us some complimentary treats once we arrived which was nice. They have spa water once entering which was a nice touch. We requested a fan, extra pillows and extra blankets which they were able to accomodate. The TV didn't get many channels but we were able to hook up our laptop to watch other channels at least. The bed wasn't that comfortable but it was doable. The couch was pretty hard. The shower didn't have any shelves to put soap etc that we wish they had. The bathroom was on the smaller side. If you want housekeeping during your stay u have to request it. Wi-Fi included. Overall it was a good stay. Next time we are in the area we will stay here again but get a bigger room with a bigger bed.
