The hotel itself was clean, nice, and service was good, breakfast was good, but the room needed some help. The room over all was good, the A/C worked good, the bed was comfortable, it was quite, but the bathroom could of need some more work. It was clean yes, but not counter top for the sink, it was free standing. and had a plastic rolling bin for towels, very cheap. And the housekeeping needs to step up there game, there was two almost empty roll, with no extra paper, so I had to call the front desk to bring me more toilet paper and towels. read more

Didn't get many pics but this was a pretty good stay. It was clean here and close to Schlitterbahn. That's why we stayed up in schertz that weekend. Breakfast was pretty good the first day, I don't eat any pork and there was egg options for me the first morning. The second morning even the eggs had ham in them unfortunately. Wish it was a little more tailored to all options of a diet, but I did have cereal and a bagel. They had yogurt every morning, as well as, fruit and waffles. I did enjoy the other options. The pool doesn't close until 11 pm and that was pretty cool. The snack options downstairs were better than. A lot of other la quintas I been to. I'd definitely book again. Stayed here for the Final Four, was extremely dirty and poorly ran. One elevator was broken, the door keys had a 75% success rate, and overall was underwhelming even for a La Quinta. The older Indian man working the front was zero help when we were trying to get into our room with a dead door lock. However, the lady working over night was much more helpful and very friendly! Wifi and TV connections were horrible even after they moved us. The new room's tv didn't even work. Breakfast was subpar. Not many options.

Check in appeared to be great and smooth. Was given 2 keys for a room. Went to the room and the key didn't work. Sent my wife to have the keys remade. The room has beer bottles everywhere, food containers and a messed up bed! They assigned us another room. Guess what, THOSE KEYS DIDNT WORK EITHER! Had to repeatedly go downstairs. Not happy. Mind you, i just had surgery so I'm on minimal activity. I sat in the hallways while i waited for my wife to correct all these issues. read more

I came here for my brothers two day soccer tournament and I was not impressed, not even close. Hair ,weird stuff , slow internet, etc. The check in was fast and smooth.We got in our room and it looked great but when we took a closer look it was not pretty. There was hair and piss on the toilet seat and hair all around the bathroom, weird stuff on the pillows and beds. After a ok night we went to go get breakfast and it was ok , the eggs and sausages are good . Fast forward to the next day and my mom and brother had to leave at 6:25 for a game and me and my youngest brother got to stay. Another good breakfast. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Received multiple confirmation emails confirming my trip was "all set." Showed up to the hotel after a long drive and to our surprise there was a piece of paper on the front door saying that they are closed for construction purposes. We ended up not having a place to stay and dealt with Customer Service for 3 hours. I still have no received anything from this hotel advising they are sorry for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor do I believe it is managed properly, due to the experience we had. read more

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. There was dried SPERM on the front center of my office chair in my room and my toilet was DISGUSTING. I did get a new chair after reporting. The toilet was never cleaned properly even after reporting it twice. Bed got made though, all days. I was told I would get 50% off my stay by one manager but at checkout she gave me a discount on only one of my three day stay. I had to complain to a different manager. It will be the last dime they ever get from me... bodily fluids are disgusting and dangerous to not be cleaned properly in a hotel room. read more

I'm furious. We have been on an extended stay at this location for going on 10 days. At $125/ day. The communication between staff here is atrocious at best. We talked to the front desk several times this morning explaining I would be back at 5pm to pay for tonight. We got back an hour and a half ago to find our dog, and all our belongings locked in the room. And nobody with the "special key" to get in. Our dog, all our belongings are locked in the room. Why? Because second shift rolls in and noone conveys the message I left them and we are told check out is at 12 noon and they need payment for tonight. I explained everything and was met with the rudest most unprofessional individual who was less than horrible with customer service. Sal, the hotel owner is supposedly the one in charge here and who is at best a terrible human being. So we have been sitting here in the hallway after paying these people for tonight and after paying well over a $1000. Who does that? Who locks a mom and child out of their room while locking the dog inside. And then tells the other employee we will just have to wait for him. Ridiculous. Whatever you do, spare yourself the headache and don't stay here. We won't talk about the 4 rooms we have had to be moved to and from due to AC issues and fish smiling issues. Run far. Reserved a room here for an overnight getaway and so far we are very impressed with this La Quinta inn and suites. We had called ahead the morning of our check in to request an early check-in and Nick at the front desk was very accommodating. When we arrived at the hotel Nick greeted us at the front desk quickly checked us in and was very efficient and friendly to make sure we got the room that we wanted and allowed the early check-in time as promised. The hotel is very nice plenty of room we have the executive king suite very well equipped with every comfort you could imagine and nicely located with lots of stores and shopping in the area. The front desk staff have been great, the hotel nice and met our needs. Would recommend to others. read more

Not good. Rented a King deluxe suite with hide-a-bed for the two kids. I clearly stated that I had 4 people in the room. Arrived late and tired... checked in, and found that the hide-a-bed was literally a love seat... creating a twin sized 'bed' (with no sheets... had to ask special for those). I called downstairs to express my disappointment and asked for a roll-around 'bed' for the other kid... because the sofa 'bed' was a joke. Now, you may wonder why I use the quotes around 'bed'... oh let me tell you.! The mattresses were so pathetic that it would be impossible for an adult to sleep on them. The roll-around 'bed' was like a spring hammock with a thin padding... I was worried that my 10yo son would be sore the next day. The sheets and springs on the roll-around looked like they were created circa WWII at a camp. The sofa 'bed', wasn't much better. The whole thing was really unacceptable and low budget. I would be ok with it if it was a Motel 6.... but it was La Qunita... who I expect more from. We tried to move hotels, but there was an event in town and all was sold out. Won't be staying here again. The fridge was sqeeky and ran all night... we unplugged it. One extra star for pleasant enough staff and texas shaped waffles. read more

This particular La Quinta "used" to be our favorite to stay in during many trips to see my grand-kids that live in Live Oak, Tx. We live just a few hours away. This hotel now is the most disgusting one (besides the older one located literally in Live Oak) One would think since they have just re-opened 3 months ago (due to a fire) that they would be nice & "CLEAN", & NEWER BEDS"? Oh no -not at all. The first night of check-in we were sent to room 420 where it hadn't even been cleaned yet. I called from the room itself and was told -sorry about that -I return downstairs and re-keyed to be sent to room 310. Upon looking around I was just shocked to see pieces of carpeting still all over the place, it really was not vacuumed well at all, and the bathroom?? That's another nightmare in itself!! It was dirty, and the towels that were in the bathroom were about twice the size of a hand towel and it was cheaper looking than the Dollar store stock. When my husband and I returned downstairs to leave for a short while to visit my son and his family I asked the girl at the reception -where do I get clean towels or more towels when I need them? She looked at me and said well.. do you need some already? I mean what is wrong with these people? AND I was told to bring them down when I needed clean ones. Are you kidding me? When I actually did this the following morning she acted in disbelief and shock. I then told her -She was the one who told me I had to do this in order to receive clean towels. This treatment that I received at this LaQuinta was completely unprofessional to say the least. The problem starts at the TOP.. if you continue your cheap pay towards your staff, they will never stay. If you use the cheapest beds, towels, refrigerators that tilt inside the whole TV stand that is falling apart.. you will lose your customers. I paid $300.00 for 2 nights. Had I been able to find another hotel the second night we would have been gone. I wouldn't even give this a ONE star, it deserves a ZERO STAR!!! Will we ever return? Not no.. but HELL NO!! You cannot tell me that you purchased new beds either because we felt the springs on the bed itself. To Trevor Dailey who is either the Manager? Owner? In my opinion, You were not ready to open.. You can see ALL the shortcuts you have made in order to just "open". To tell us your good towels are on back-order ?? Give me a break!! We will never return to your hotel.. and I shall post this everywhere I can.. people need to know how dirty, and filthy your hotel is!!  Remember -we are still in a pandemic? What's wrong with you Mr. Dailey?? You should be ashamed of yourself!! Additionally, I should not have had to borrow 2 large towels from my son's home in order to use those since yours were quite inadequate. The less than dollar store value size towels hardly did the job. My 6'5" 220lb husband could hardly use the small one YOUR measly cheap hotel provides. Instead of continuing to apologize to your customers -why not provide us partial refunds for the horrible state of affairs your hotel remains in while you are (in my opinion) obviously ripping us off!! $300.00 for those 2 nights was outrageous considering what your hotel is NOT providing. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this hotel.. GO ELSEWHERE!! You will be glad you did!! read more

Do Not, I REPEAT, DO NOT stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Schertz, Texas. I paid at least 2 months in advance and did not get room I paid. I specifically reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa. When I arrived they were "sold out" of those rooms. REALLY! The rest of the weekend there was not any better. The room I was put in was HOTTER THAN HELL! Had to to sleep in 87-90 degree temp in our room with 2 fans that did nothing to cool us off. The maintenance man LIED stating that he would change the AC first thing in the morning. Later that day, nothing was done. I had complained upon arrival and they said they couldn't give me another room. The corporate trainer there had NERVE to tell my mom who was in a hot room almost all day the "I'm sorry we can not help you. My AC in my room works fine". Like really jerk!!!! Then when I complained to the front desk, the general manager came out as I was CLEARLY UPSET tells me that the trainer stated he had to speak to my mom in Spanish. OH HELL NO!!!! I told the manager with ANGER "My mother speaks ENGLISH!!" She is hard of hearing, and that is why I reserved a hearing impaired room. So they switch us rooms, BUT KNOCK ON THE DOOR!!!! I told them my mother can not hear! So I made the receptionist go to my room with me and I knocked on the door to prove a point. Nothing, so I ring the hearing impaired bell on the door and she answers "coming" and opens the door. I tell her see! She can not hear, and as soon as she tries to step inside, she backs up and says "WOW it's HOT in here!" EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!! I was so furious with this hotel and their pools were DISGUSTING!!!!!! I will never stay there ever again and I have tried complaining to the Corporate office and no one answers. So needless to say, I will NEVER STAY at another La Quinta or anything "By Wyndham" because they do NOT KNOW WHO TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS! They switched rooms later that day and the ac worked great BUT as soon as we used the microwave all the electricity in our room shut off so we had no power in the second room. read more

I like how it is next to many places to eat and shop. The hot tub works well. No hassles here. The rooms are decent. The business center needs work, but that is the case at all La Quintas and more hotels in general, no matter how costly. read more

The staff was very friendly from arrival til departure. I was able to book reservations ten minutes prior to my arrival. The hotel is pet friendly and very clean. Our room had no smell of animals. We thought they mistakenly put us in a non pet room. The location of the hotel has it's plus and minus. It's located off I-35, walking distance to Walmart, Wingstop, and few other restaurants all in walking distance of one minute. The down side it's also located next to some concrete plant with large tractor trailers that start work early in the morning. So request a room facing Walmart to avoid the noise and bad view of the plant. Breakfast was average. We stayed three days. Many of the guest were contractors working from out of town. So I had to wait nearly two hours to wash my clothes til a washer and dryer was free. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the furture. read more

Very disappointing for such a new property. Most issues are due to design, such as tile and pergo making the entire hotel noisey. Biggest issue is the bathroom design. The are only walk-in showers with no barrier on the edge. Water runs over entire floor soaking bags, shoes, clothes. There is a drain in the middle of the bathroom so obviously that water issue is no surprise to the builders. To make matters worse when calling the front desk their response was to say that do not keep maintance/housekeeping on staff in the evening. The front desk wanted us to tell them why it flooded. Im not a plumber, sorry. No help or solution was offered. We asked for mats to soak up the water, after a long wait and a trip to the front we were told all the mats were in the dryer.
