Small pillows on a queen bed. Missing a nightstand on the left side

MOLD. Missing furniture and no ironing board. Small pillows. Markings on the wall. Poor cleaning standards. Funky smell to the room. But the breakfast is good and staff is friendly. It's a shame that my room was in such poor condition. I didn't notice the mold until 10pm, after I had showered and unpacked. I only noticed it when I had to move the nightstand to access the outlet because there are no convenient outlets near the bed. Due to the poor lighting in bed area, I probably missed it when I first got in the room. After I noticed the mold, I pulled out my flashlight and noticed that the whole room was filthy, dust on the walls and in between the wardrobe, corners and carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed the shower had hair and grime in it. On to top it off, the A/C unit was rattling so much that I had to shut it off. As someone who enjoys the room being cold when I sleep, this was a very unpleasant night stay here. I hardly make reviews for places but I just couldn't let another person be misled by good reviews. GO ELSEWHERE.

I was informed that early check-in wasn't available, and my room wouldn't be ready until 3:00 PM. While this was unexpected, especially after staying 14 nights at IHG properties this year, I understand that availability can vary. However, upon arriving at 2:50 PM, I was told my room still wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes. This is frustrating, considering your policy charges guests for late check-outs, yet check-ins aren't held to the same standard. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the front desk clerk. Not only did she fail to acknowledge my Platinum status, she seemed irritated by my presence and appeared eager to leave. At exactly 3:00 PM, she walked out the door with her purse, leaving me standing there. The next clerk also didn't recognize my Platinum membership, though I finally received my room key around 3:15 PM. We had to rush to our destination as a result, leaving the hotel by 3:25 PM. In the lobby, I noticed two other families still waiting for their rooms. As a retired Customer Service Executive, I can honestly say I've never been treated this poorly at any hotel. If any of my employees had behaved that way, they would have been dismissed--unless, of course, the company culture condones such behavior. I will not stay at this location again. Unless I receive a satisfactory response, I intend to share this experience across all social media platforms I use. I would appreciate it if someone could explain how a Platinum member with over 170,000 points ends up being treated like an inconvenience. "Below is the response I received from the General Manager. Instead of helping, it only made me feel like an inconvenience. What I took away was, 'Yes, we made a mistake, but you'll just have to deal with it.'" Hi Mr.Ortiz, We do apologize for your experience you had, but an early check in is not guaranteed especially if the property was completely sold out the night before. Yet a 3pm check in is and I will work with my staff so this type of issue will be addressed.

Where do I begin about this place. It's been several years since I stayed there but my entire time…read morestaying there will be the 1 hotel stay I'll never forget it was so horrible. For starters when I stayed there the guy who worked in the office Sid at first he was pretty nice but the longer I stayed there the worse he got. This girl Jennifer stayed there and she was always calling my room demanding I give her rides all over the place and when I'd tell her no or I couldn't shed call sid in the office and sid would call my room to tell me I needed to give Jennifer a ride and when I'd stop answering my room phone sid and Jennifer would call my cell phone and sid would tell me that Jennifer is in the office waiting so I'd tell him good let her keep waiting it's the only thing she seems to be good at is waiting for everyone else to bow down to her and do what she wanted them to do. She even went as far as keying the hood of my car once when I refused to give her a ride to Walmart and surprise surprise sid said there was no camera footage or proof that she did that but the key marks weren't on my hood before that day and then he started walking by my room standing outside my door to listen to my conversations when I'd have company he'd watch my room all day and night and anytime I'd have someone over he'd immediately call my room after they left to tell me where they parked their car what they were driving and to ask who they were why they were there in my room why they were in my room for as long as they would be there and what did we do while they were there and when I refused to tell him any of that and told him that I paid for that room it was none of his business to ask me those questions and it was an invasion of my privacy he would scream at me telling me that it was his motel and he could do whatever he wanted to do to whomever he wanted to do it to and that I didn't have the right to any privacy and there aas nothing I could do about it then he placed a camera above the door of the utility closet which was located next door to my room and he pointed it and faced it directly at my room door and anytime I came or went or I had company or any sort of visitor he'd call my room to question me about it then when I confronted him on the camera and him watching my every move he again told me that it's his motel and he can do whatever he wants and there's nothing I could do about it. And if you ask me it was all because I wouldn't engage in sexual relations with him like Jennifer did on a daily basis. It's funny how everyday around 11 am checkout time you'd see sid like clockwork go into Jennifer's room empty handed and 10 minutes later come walking back out empty handed claiming he went in to fix something. First of all you can't fix something without tools and or supplies or parts to replace the broken stuff he needed to fix! Anyhow because I wasn't like Jennifer I got treated like the trash and spoke tolike trash he even allowed his other front desk staff guys to speak to me like theyd lost their minds and allowed them to scream at me and didn't say anything to them when one of them literally forced his way into my door and room when I went to shut my door on him cause he wouldn't stop screaming at me and threatening to call the cops on me for absolutely no reason! To rate this place 1 star is an understatement but it's the only choice I had because I'd much rather give it a negative 20 stars but there's no option for that. Every day sid made it his mission to totally belittle me disrespect me and constantly making me feel like it's my fault he treated me like that. Had me in tears nearly every day I stayed there. If you want my advise you'd have a better stay and far better accommodations and far better treatment if you slept on a street corner with one of the homeless guys living on the streets. Run for the hills don't even waste your time money or sanity by staying here. You will regret it.

We immediately jumped up, removed bed bug of person and went to front desk to inform front office of this issue with bed in motel room cup to show front desk staff, after waiting over 10minutes for front desk to acknowledge our arrival. The front desk assistant removed bed bug and said a refund would not be given. I then asked if there was any one available as I had video and photos of the said bed bug and roaches that had been seen crawling on the wall of said motel and on my person as well. The front desk lady became hostile when I had asked for a proper contact number to get ahold of someone in corporate. Per Judy she did not have to give me corporate number and said someone would eventually reach out. With me coming from out of state I politely asked for a proper contact number that would included upper management/ corporate number a proper email and a proper name as to who would contact me. Judy became extremely unpleasant and unprofessional and started blaming me as the customer as if I was in the wrong. Judy chose to argue with me instead of give me the proper information. Judy did not give me a cooperates number instead she gave me the motel number.I had to google search and locate a number to inform them of the incident that had occurred. There was no sign warning of this and no way of contacting someone to open them. * Room 122 shower head had a leak in the connection, spraying water over the curtain until covered with a washcloth. * The lights were low wattage in the room, making for a depressingly dim atmosphere. * A dead cockroach and a live one were in the top dresser drawer. * The hot breakfast was 8 slices of white bread, 2 jars of peanut butter (crunchy and smooth), bananas, milk, grape juice, two bags of instant oatmeal but no water, hot or cold, to cook it. The plastic ware was forks and spoons, but no knives to slice the banana or spread the peanut butter. The lighting in the dining room was a dim fixture on the high ceiling. (I checked all the drawers and cupboards in the dining room... that was it!) * Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:45 AM the first morning. I told them I would be out of their way in 10 minutes. They never returned. * One of the bedside lamps kept flickering until I figured out that the bed mattress was up against the plug at the outlet. A flat plug might solve that problem. * Neither the business center (a computer) nor the front desk, have a printer available for guest use. * The paint was peeling away on the room (122) walls. A hole was gouged in the wall where it appeared the room door handle had struck it. * Linens: 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 2 bath towels * This is a very tired facility needing significant attention, OK if one pretends one is camping in the outback, but not what one might expect from a "Quality Inn"!

I had previously stayed here a couple of years ago and it was not anywhere as bad as it is now…read more Upon pulling into the parking lot, it looked like a lot of things had changed. The sign was demolished and the grass was high, unlike the other 3 hotels in the culdesac. Hopefully, I thought, maybe the inside was still decent, but unfortunately that was not the case. The lobby furniture was disgusting and the walk to my room wasn't good either, as they had a double stack washing machine sitting dead in the middle of the hallway. Upon entering the room, it smelled like leftover sex and cigarettes. I walked into the bathroom and the shower was destroyed and patched with putty. I checked the bed and it looked slept in. As of late, I've started carrying a " foreign owned , I don't want a weird disease pack" consisting of Lysol spray, pillow covers, a king sized sheet and my own blanket for those just in case moments. As I was leaving the hotel for dinner I saw some longterm residents that had multiple dogs living in their vehicle in the heat. I saw a cop at the gas station and reported it, but they were still there the next morning. Breakfast was interesting, to say the least. I had to go to the desk to see if they would put out more biscuits, but they were out. The had a ring of gravy there, so I made a waffle and poured gravy on it, starting a trend that other people followed. Being an older crowd, we were able to laugh it off. At checkout, the male desk clerk kept giving me excuses as to why he couldn't give me a receipt, but he finally emailed me one. I think he was knocking off a faux service charge that these dumps try to put on people who won't fight back once they're 200 miles away. What's truly sad is that I do a lot of trade shows throughout the Midwest and I've always stayed at Choice Hotels to keep the cost down. There are still a few out there that I'll stay at, but most of them have become dumps and I've started staying at the higher end places because you don't run into this crap. I'll mark this off to life lessons, but heed my warning: your health and welfare are worth more than saving a few bucks.
