    Mantra that is useless..

No coffee. Manager made excuses and had to wait 20 minutes for them to brew the 1st pot of the day at 830 am. Out of eggs for 15 minutes. Manager had zero sense or urgency. I travel a lot. This is unacceptable. Manager needs to be fired. This is the worst customer service. The entrance has a welcome rug that says making you happy, makes us happy. I call bullshit.

Bed bug bites on one arm

I would rather sleep in my car. Firstly, we are a Hilton Diamond family so we stay at our fair share of Hilton properties. Our experience this weekend at the Hampton Inn Muskegon was possibly one of our worst. We were given a room on the first floor, right near the front lobby. Upon entering, the room smelled extremely musty and old. The bathroom door is covered with mildew. There was a burning odor coming from the hallway all night long. But, for the really fun part... we were forced to leave our room (and hotel) at 11:00pm on the second night of our stay when I discovered that both of my arms were covered in bug bites. I spent the rest of the night looking for another hotel to move into and the following morning in urgent care. Absolutely ruined the otherwise fun weekend. Stay here at your own risk!

This is a very nice hotel. The room was very nice and clean and we enjoyed the restaurant we went to eat and have drinks at. Only thing was the hot tub wasn't filled. Other than that this is a nice hotel.

Nasty...see photos of hair stuck to the bathroom ceiling, mold and decay around shower, rot in walls and room ceiling, and during 25 degree weather the 4th floor hallway hvac blows outside air into hallway. Yes 25 degrees throughout 4th floor hallway... goes straight into the rooms. I confronted the front desk where they offered to comp my room but I'm on biz travel... it was already paid for by my company. I did expect them to get the long black hairs out of the bathroom, that never happened during my 2 night stay. Even got defensive upon checkout when I told them I expected the hair to be removed. I gave them early notice and showed them photos. Im a diamond member to the hilton brand staying some 100 plus days a year with this chain. This is by far the worse hotel under the brand. I will not, and can not recommend this hotel to anyone. The company I came to meet with all said this hotel is known by locals to be a nasty experience. Wished id of had the info prior.

I have stayed here before and enjoyed my previous stay. This time, however, the room wasn't that great and when I checked in I was told this was an upgrade. I walked into the huge room with king bed and at first glance I liked what I saw but then I went into the bathroom. The floor of the shower was gross and the bench in the bathroom had stains . The hot tub had this weird pink stain on the sides so that creeped me out. The bed was super comfortable and staff were very nice.

Absolutely disappointed!! Went there because they showed a beautiful pool and hot tub on their site and it was disgusting!! Old smelly water with caution tape on hot tub. Peeling chunks of paint all over the flooring in pool area that was getting tracked into the pool to either dissolve or settle in the bottom for people to take in the chemicals while swimming! $300 a night for that?? Really?! I couldn't even believe that it was open!! I have pictures and a video of it. No we won't be back. We went the end of June

Waking up each morning to the peaceful waterfront views and ending the day watching the sunset from our balcony made for an unforgettable experience. What truly sets this property apart, however, is its outstanding staff. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every team member made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. A special thank you to Clara and Ausha at the front desk for going above and beyond to accommodate us with such an incredible room. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for our entire stay. An even bigger shout-out goes to Front Desk Manager Maxx Millman, who truly exemplifies exceptional hospitality. We were celebrating my birthday, and Maxx went above and beyond to ensure the occasion was memorable. His thoughtfulness, genuine care, and commitment to creating an outstanding guest experience did not go unnoticed. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated to making guests feel special, and we are incredibly grateful. We also have to recognize Ava and Sarah in the Bistro. They were warm, friendly, attentive, and made every visit enjoyable. Sarah deserves special recognition for making the best Mudslide I've ever had--it was absolutely perfect! Their exceptional service and positive personalities added so much to our experience. Beyond the incredible staff, the hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and offers comfortable accommodations in a spectacular waterfront setting. The marina views are stunning, the atmosphere is relaxing, and every aspect of the property reflects a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. It's easy to see why Shoreline Inn & Conference Center has earned such a great reputation. Whether you're traveling for business, attending a conference, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, this is a place that truly delivers. The combination of beautiful accommodations, exceptional amenities, and world-class customer service makes it a destination we will happily return to. Thank you to everyone at Shoreline Inn & Conference Center for making my birthday celebration so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to come back. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an outstanding hotel experience.

The requested extra pillows and towels were in the room when we arrived for check in. The room was clean with one of those dreamy Marriott beds that I wish I could have at home . I attended a meeting the next day at the hotel. Great service but somewhat limited selections for my gluten-free, dairy-free daughter's diet. I cannot blame them for that. Otherwise very average food, but good for hotels, in my experience. Parking was free and convenient. We were there during a weekday and did not have any of the reported problems with lack of parking . If there is any criticism, it was the front desk associate who was marginally welcoming and helpful. I probably noticed it more because I've had such a great experience at Hiltons with the front desk staff. But she got the job done. I would definitely stay there again for another trip through Muskegon via the Milwaukee high speed ferry.

Pros: + Loved that check out was at 12pm. That felt so luxuriously late! + The front desk staff was 11/10. Each of them (I think I encountered maybe five different employees during my weekend here) was friendly, acknowledged every guest warmly, had great suggestions and recommendations, were patient with questions, and did a fantastic job checking folks in and out effortlessly. Seriously, one of the best experiences I've had with a front desk staff at a hotel! + There's a Starbucks in the lobby (...but you can't use your Starbucks app to pay)! + There's a little room in the lobby with snacks, drinks, medicine, and beauty products for sale 24/7! Cons: - It's a very generic, very average-at-best hotel. - The room could have been much cleaner. - The bed could have been more comfortable. - The whole building could probably be modernized. - The noise was TERRIBLE. Despite filling out their online survey about my room preferences, I was given a fourth floor room across from the elevators. Between the street noise from the entrance and the heavily trafficked elevator hallway (and the all night rager that happened in the room next to mine)... It was loud. Finally, I saw a couple reviews mention that they were stingy with their water bottles. Bring your own reusable one; they've got refills stations on every floor!

Following payment and signing papers we headed to our rooms. To bad we didn't notice the sign on the wall behind the counter that read "If you are unhappy with your room, please let us know within 15 minutes of your stay for a full refund ". Walking to our room the odor of stale marijuana permitted the hallways. The garbage on the floors, the filth on the walls and the dated "decor" should have caused us to leave. We had booked three rooms. One of the rooms had a hand drawn arrow on it letting us know to pull the handle upwards in order to enter. That's because the door had just been pried open obviously with a screwdriver. That's comforting. The rooms had not been cleaned. The soaps were open, dirty towels left in the room, cigarette holes in the comforters, filth everywhere, even blood on the walls. Do yourself a favor and check out my photos and don't stay here!
