This place is older but in great the rooms are nice and they have a great staff! The lady that's runs breakfast was very nice and helpful.

I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn in Muskogee and, unfortunately for me the property is extremely outdated, poorly managed and not maintained. This is not the normal experience I have when traveling and someone should take immediate actions to fix to preserve the Hilton brand and ensure guests have a good experience wanting to return to Hilton. The sauna, for example, has apparently been broken for over a year. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told they decided not to fix it because "it never worked anyway when people poured water on it." I'm not a sauna expert, but most saunas clearly instruct guests not to pour water on the heating elements, so this explanation didn't exactly inspire confidence. The fitness center is another major concern. The air conditioning does not work well and before starting my work out I felt hot. When looking at the ceiling you can see the dirt marks where the not-so-great working air conditioner has blow over the years. The room has a noticeable unclean or moldy smell and there is water marks and dirt along the walls. Some of the equipment specifically the Peloton has broken parts, the handles to tighten the seat and the handle to tighten the handle bars, without these you cannot safely operate the bike and is impossible to use. The water station in the gym was also empty both days of my stay. On the first day, the receptionist kindly gave me a bottle of water. On the second day, however, I was told, "we don't really fill that," and was directed to go to the breakfast area and use the juice machine instead which felt like a pretty low standard for a hotel. The pool area also has some gaps. After swimming, guests were left with only very small gym-style towels (roughly 1' x 2') to dry off. That's simply not adequate for most adults and creates an uncomfortable experience for guests trying to leave the pool area. I witnessed a larger adult male and his three kids use multiple towels to dry off which is extremely inconvenient In addition to that, the carpeting is worn, has bumps and at minimum should be re stretched or replaced as it is an outdated style, the ice machines are old, there is tape holding the panel on inside the elevator and there's a general lack of upkeep throughout the property is visible. I typically expect a consistent, reliable experience from Hilton properties and as a Diamond member I find it very disappointing as I have chosen Hilton to be my preferred hotel chain. read more

Hotel is remodeled And had nice rooms but what I don't like is there little convenience store that they have inside they have no options. Fridges were empty shelves were empty but what was the worst part was that they did not have Apple Pay, which is weird because Hampton Inn is a pretty decent hotel. read more

This was a very quick stay here, only a few hours, but I was able to sleep in a comfortable bed with nice pillows and set the air conditioner to a temperature that was just right for me. The bathroom was immaculately clean and stopped with a shampoo. Conditioner and bathjoe that were environmentally friendly and body friendly, but also that had a pleasant smell that was neither masculine or feminine. You could definitely do worse in a different hotel. And of course there are better hotels but this one is just great for my needs. And I bet it will suit your needs just fine. read more

On Friday Dexember 13, 2025, My family and I were in town to particpate in the Wreaths Across America to honor Veterans at the Fort Gibson National Cementary we arrived at the hotel after 5pm and stayed in Rm 304.Upon entering the room, the door was unsecured. Upon entering we observed the toilet had a grey ring indicating that had mot been cleaned. We advised the front desk of the matter and she responded with housekeeping was not on duty and would be advised the next day. Later that evening, we noticed the tub appeared to have brown stains and paint was missing. My family did not feel comfortable showering. The beds made us itch. Due to being disappointed we decided to not switch rooms and cancel the next night. There is also 6foot brown stain on the first floor when you are walking to the elevator. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was what you want, clean, comfortable but the thing I liked the most about the room was how quiet it was. I've never been in a hotel room that blocked out sound that well. The hotel pool was nice but the choice of flooring around the pool makes no sense, it would be good for a dining room but offers no slip resistance. Nice, small work out area which was a plus. The breakfast was above average for a hotel but the breakfast area was miserably hot, the air didn't work in there and the large windows that extended the length of the dining area heats it up in there. Poor design that I feel like could be partially corrected by the right window covers. read more

Stayed at the Hampton Inn Muskogee for a football tournament. The hotel was clean and generally nice; what you would expect from a Hampton. We were in a 2 queen bed room the room was also clean. Breakfast was a normal Hampton Inn breakfast as you would expect. My issues with this hotel, and the reason for the lower rating is : 1. Our room was missing shampoo, body soap, and a wash bar, as well as wash cloths. Remote wise, hidden in a drawer and had no batteries in it so. 2. One of the beds had broken springs. Note these were not normal Hampton beds, pillows, or linens and definitely definitely not as comfortable. 3. Gym - the gym had all of the normal equipment. However, the treadmill, elliptical, and bike were all broken and unusable. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that this could have happened recently especially there are football teams staying here and kids messing with the equipment... However, the sign on the treadmill was faded, and it was clear that the treadmill has been broken for a while. Overall a disappointing experience. read more

Stayed here on way to Minnesota. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. However the room smelled like wet dog. The set up is dated and there were only two outlets to charge electronics...and one didn't work. There was no lamp for the desk area making the room look very dark. The room was clean. Would not stay here again. read more

We requested a room to sleep 5 people and were told we had two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room had no sofa and the staff would do nothing to fix the situation. No roll a way bed, so we had to put 3 people in one queen size bed. The pool was very dirty and the hot tub water was brown. Broken chairs in pool area, the shower in our room was dirty, and to top it all off they charged me for the room twice. They did refund me after I caught the second charge and came back in, but overall not a good experience. We canceled our reservation on our return trip. read more

Of all the hotels i have been in during 2017 (w/in this price range) this was by far the best. Extremely clean and recently remodeled rooms were perfect. They have comfortable beds, and nice pillows (I usually hate hotel beds and pillows). The heated pool, gym and sauna were all really well kept and clean. If i ever end up in Muskogee again, this will be the place i stay. read more

You hope you never have to go to Muskogee, OK. But if you do have to go, I recommend staying at this Hampton Inn. Staff was responsive and very helpful and friendly; there was an excellent, free breakfast in the mornings (for those of you who care about having protein in the morning, they did have sausage but no eggs the day I was there); and some of the most surprisingly comfortable beds that I've ever experienced in a hotel room. Each bed was made with an assortment of pillows with both soft and hard choices and included a lumbar pillow and a little lap desk to make it easier to work sitting up in bed. Plus, they offered free high-speed internet, which should be offered in every hotel room in the country, IMO, but for some reason, that isn't always the case. All for $100/night. Can't beat that! read more

Do you want cancer? Then stay at this hotel. After talking with management it was clear they didn't care about non-smokers. They didn't even know where the non-smoking rooms were located and when grilled finally got their brain waves to work. My room and entire hall reeked of smoke. My room was flooded with it because of the HVAC system. Clearly they want to kill their guests by giving them cancer. Stupid. DONT STAY HERE read more

Clean, comfortable rooms, and great service. The hot tub was deep enough to come up to my chin, which was nice, and the location was convenient. I would have liked to see a little more variety on the breakfast bar, and the wi-fi was a little slow, but otherwise a great stay. read more

I travel here weekly and this hotel is by far my favorite in Muskogee. Very clean rooms, great tub, pool and whirlpool. Staff are friendly and genuinely go out of their way to help and make you feel at home. Beds are comfortable but the frame they are on is a bit noisy and that is with sleeping only! ;p. Now I'm not sure how much it costs as I was here for business and hotel was paid for. I looked it up really quick and saw it was about $100 per night, but not sure how consistent that is. Room was wonderfully comfortable, nice bed, nice couch, nice tv, VERY nice and big bathroom, can't ask for more. The looks nice enough though I never got in it. The hot tub rocked. Fitness room was slightly lacking, only had 3 machines, all for cardio, so I just used treadmill, nothing special but got the job done. Hot breakfast has nice selection of bagels, muffins, danishes, other pastries, waffles, biscuits, eggs with ham n cheese, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, 4 types of juice, coffee, and more! Awesome! Never used the staff much, but they were friendly when I checked in and out. read more

booked a room thru hotels.com... asked the hotel what would happen if the room was cancelled... once we were told we would still be charged we opted to not cancel... upon our arrival the room had been cancelled... we drove straight thru from San Diego and didn't have a room. We were already charged on hotel.com... they wanted to charge us again for the room... then it was decided that we didn't need to pay again but hotel.com needed to be called, I asked if we could get a key while was being straightened out so my kids could get out of our van and unwind from the long trip, we were told no... so I'm sitting here while the person is on hold and my kids are in the van just waiting... this is not acceptable... read more

My husband and I stayed here and were really impressed. The free breakfast was a wonderful addition to our stay...and we really enjoyed the suite. It was one of the nicest beds I have ever slept in and the in room jacuzzi really came in handy! We will love to return one of these days! read more

Wow this place looked new but is actually several years old. The beds where so comfortable and they had a nice assortment of pillows. In fact I didn't even use the pillow I normally carry with me, and my pillow cost $90 so you know I'm picky about that! My room had a fridge and microwave. The room was clean and had no funny smells. The AC/Heat worked fine and the sound level was average. The shower head was broken, I couldn't adjust but the pressure and flow was superior to 80% of the hotels I've been in. I've been in a lot of hotels. I have been doing a traveling job for 13 years. I woke up too late to grab the free breakfast and I never turned on the TV so no opinions on that. read more

This is a middle of the line hotel that is a little older but the managers keep it in good order and has some nice amenities. The gym is small and needs to be updated and I didn't appreciate it being in glass windows right in front of the pool so anyone could just watch you workout. Other than that solid hotel but I might try the new Fairfield Inn nextdoor next time. read more

Older property, fan made noise all night, brought to front desk attention, no action taken, checked in about 11:30 pm, Lady acknowledged my Hilton Honor level and informed me that I only qualified for 1 water upon check in, not 2, not a very enjoyable experience, I did not care if she charged me for a second water, not much personality and close to borderline rude at 11:30 pm. Property is in process of being remodeled. Until completed, not up to Hilton quality standards. read more

Stayed here regularly this past year. Last trip my cigar lighter disappeared after the housekeeper cleaned the room. When I raised my concern that she either took it or accidentally wiped it into the garbage can when cleaning the desk, the manager began with 'are you sure you had your lighter?' Yes, I'm sure I had my lighter, that's why I know it's missing. After defending her housekeeper the manager decided to reimburse one of the nights for the stay since they were about he same value ($100 lighter) since I couldn't produce a receipt. Yeah, I don't keep receipts for three years on my cigar lighter. I explained that I'd rather have a nights worth of points since my company pays for the room. There was no response to this request and now it's been almost two weeks since the occurrence. Still nothing - no refund on a night or points in my account. So let's sum it up - they steal/lose a lighter, I'm held in suspicion like I'm making the whole thing up, my company is supposed to get a fee night and I'm still out a $100 lighter. Doesn't matter anyway- they didn't do anything. The way they handled this is unacceptable. I don't really want $100, just my lighter since it was a gift. The worst part? They could have checked the garbage but didn't. When I was told that the garbage hadn't been emptied yet that evening, I replied that I wasn't going to look through he garbage. Lady at the counter told me, I have a college education, there's no way I'd suggest you do that.....not sure how college and garbage share similarities in this issue. The hotel overall?, old. Lots of wear on the furniture, beds and pillows uncomfortable, rooms very dark because they insist on 20w light bulbs everywhere. Breakfast is pretty bad. Out of all the Hamptons I stay at, this one ranks at the bottom. I don't stay here anymore and have chosen to remain in Tulsa instead where the Hampton is like what a Hampton should be. The added drive?- about 35 minutes. That's a good compromise. I would not recommend this property - ever. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE !! We had bugs of many kinds and sizes. On Bed, in bathroom, closet !! It was disgusting. It felt creepy. Front desk clerk did not even seem surprised. Way to go respond Dustin ! We got our refund but I will never stay there again no matter how desperate I am. It was way below Hampton Inn standards. HORRIBLE Place.
