I had a pedicure this morning and was so excited I found a place that could fit me in - I should have paid better attention to the reviews. My nail tech first put my feet into full tub of freezing cold water. Then she manhandled my feet, twisting my toes into uncomfortable position. She was super aggressive with cuticles as well, leaving me bleeding and my toes still stinging several hours later. My daughter had a pedicure at the same time and hers was fine - otherwise I would have removed the second star. read more

I'm not sure what happened. I called for an appointment for a pedi day of and they were able to fit me in. I'm not sure if the girl who did my nails was even licensed. She struggled cutting my toe nails after she filed them one was very crooked to which I asked her to fix it. She used callus remover on my cuticles. She was unaware that she kept hitting the chair remote on her side. The back of the chair kept coming forward and crushing me and at one point she moved the chair so far back my feet no longer reached the edge. Totally oblivious. She didn't know where the callus remover, top coat or bathroom were. I asked to add on a massage to which the front desk girl said she would check it she had time. I didn't get a massage and the nail place has cleared out and she has no clients so not sure why my request couldn't be accommodated. Really not happy. Currently wrapping up a pedicure, they didn't have half of what I asked for and had no clue what I was talking about. My chair didn't work. She barely massaged my feet and started putting on the dividers on my toes and when I asked for an extra massage one of the women told me that I only booked a regular massage. I'm from California and I may be ignorant to how things are done around here but I've NEVER had someone tell me I can't add something to my pedicure. Why waist that opportunity for an up charge?! Now she's putting on the foam flip flops before painting my toes? I must be extremely ill-informed on the procedures in the Hamptons... I tried. I really did. Second time in the past year. The first time my pedicure was blotchy and ugly, but the young woman was very new to the business and the country. Today was really not good. Great mani/ pedi..... Had Gel mani and it lasted for weeks! I'm a chef and my hands are constantly in water and this manicure was awesome!!

I didn't have quite the horrible experience as some of the other reviews had but I needed to say that the prices do not reflect the quality of service. I paid for a spa pedicure and it was ok but it wasn't worth the price. I live in NYC and am used to paying at least $35 for a spa pedi and this one here at Hampton Nails was $65 and wasn't as luxurious as I would have expected. Some of the manicurists here are good, others are awful. My most recent experience was awful. First she couldn't shape my nails properly - they looked like they had been roughly cut with a nail clipper. Then, once she started doing the polish in a light color I always get, it was so thick it looked like White-Out. I asked her to stop midway after I saw the result with a second coat. She then removed the polish she had started and tried reshaping my nails again. Finally I said don't bother with the polish. She then charged me $36 to walk out with badly shaped, bare nails. read more

The picture they use of their staff above captures their attitude perfectly. I've never met more miserable, rude people in such a short amount of time. You walk in and immediately are just met with attitude. The manager is a witch, will make you wait 30 minutes for an appointment without an ounce of regret. She's just awful. Run and run fast. Mediocre at best. When I walked in, the owner seemed genuinely bothered that I wanted a mani/pedi, and gave a huge sigh. My gel manicure started chipping and lifting after 5 days, and the edges of my nails were still rough. The girl who did my mani/pedi seemed annoyed that she was doing it, and was on her phone during my manicure. I'd rather spend more at another salon for better quality. read more

If I could put a negative star I would put -5 just on how they treat customers that walk in so rude and obnoxious let me tell you my story. Needing to get a nail fixed I looked up this salon and I called and they said I could come in at 3. So I said yes I come in at 3 having to be in the area earlier than 3 p.m. I stopped in to see if they could take me right now. Come to find there is no clients in the shop three employees sitting doing nothing so I asked if they could accommodate my walk in right now to fix a nail they rude lady declined and kept arguing with me about coming in at 3. I've never received so much attitude and rudeness from someone in the service industry as I did . Just walked by twenty minutes later still sitting doing nothing all three of them. I went in today to ask them to file my gel off of my nails so I could see what they looked like under the gel. The obnoxious woman (who was rude from the minute I walked in) refused to use her electric filet to file it off and instead started cutting it off with a nail clipper which of course ruined my nail. I asked her repeatedly to please just use the electric file so it wouldn't ruin my nails and she said "no-take too long. Take hours" which of course is ridiculous because it would have been ten times faster to do that then pick off each nail. She then got sick of me asking and said "move down there and she will do". At which time I left and thanked her for not doing what I asked. Worst service ever. Horrible, miserable women. Do NOT waste your time or mo eh going here. When my friend and I arrived, we were greater promptly and asked what services we wanted (i.e., how may I help you?). All chairs appeared full and there were 4 people waiting ahead. The receptionist asked us to come back. The exchange was a little confusing, presumably b/c of the language barrier but we eventually got the message (come back in 30 min.). My friend and I took a stroll and returned to be seated and served within 5 minutes of returning to the salon. The manicurist was friendly and professional. She took my lead as far as conversation goes (I don't like to talk during a mani/pedi). Bottom line is that I left satisfied. It was not a luxury spa treatment but that's not what I was going for. If you need a little "clean up" and a fresh "coat," this place is totally acceptable. read more

DO NOT go here... they will overcharge and rip you off. I went for an acrylic fill (said on board $40) and I got charged $95... said because they "increased prices" but really they were trying to charge me for two different things to get more money. Also not worth the crappy job that they do there. Not to mention it's very gross and not cleaned well, not sanitizing after each person... during COVID this should be priority. The place is just plain weird!! no one greets you, the manicurist does not talk to you, they get a pedicure done in 15 minutes, place looks dirty. when given feedback about the customer service the person at the desk smiled a creepy smile and rolled her eyes. This place is filthy dirty. I went a few years ago and got fungal infections in both my hands and feet. One of my toenails even fell off. I tried giving them another chance this summer because they are still in business and the place is always packed. The same thing happened: fungal infection. Stay away! This place is completely unsanitary. How the Board of Health has not shut them down is beyond me. read more

The owner or manager (who refused to give me his name when I called) is EXTREMELY RUDE. He is rude to his customers and employees. A few reasons why I gave this business 1 star.. The manicure lasts only a day if that before the polish starts to chip. He wants to charge $15.00 for a manicure that doesn't last more than a day? That doesn't really make sense. You can not make an appointment for waxing . The. 4 or 5 times that I have stopped in I am always told to come back. It's becoming extremely frustrating . I don't live close by. I wok about 5 minutes away. I've gone on my lunch break and after work and I am always told the same thing . I am sorry , but I am not going to keep stopping by and I am told the same thing . I had a terrible manicure and pedicure very unthorough, I go all the time for pedicures and manicures where I live and was visiting and thought the Hamptons would have a little higher standard better unfortunately it was much lower at this place. My manicurist did a very poor job on my hands and toes they are still rough, terrible massage and then dragged my stuff across the room on the floor and was very rough when she was doing my nails, it's almost like she couldnt be bothered doing it and here I am paying her, well my tip definitely reflected that treatment. The owner does not care about anyone. She picks and chooses who she wants to deal with. I have been going to them for a while for pink and white tips. They stopped doing them so I settled for color. I got the gel and she charged me 65 a fill. I went in with my mom for a spa pedicure which was an absolute joke... but I didn't want to say anything. Thought they had an off day. That day I asked the owner for fill in. She told me please come back next week. That I don't need one.. Because she didn't want to do it. I also get off work at four and ask for a fill in at 4:30 and every time I asked was an attitude. The other day my girlfriend called for A full set and pedicure. They said My girlfriend never said a full set. Which is fine so I got my pedicure for $28 which lasted maybe all of 10 minutes. The girl thought I was getting a manicure and when I told her I was not there to get a manicure everybody gave me an attitude. The reason I took off my nails was because of the inconvenience in the first place. The owner chose not to do my full set but took on a manicure. The only reason I went there and tried to tolerate it is bc of being close to my home. I finally said something! I am done. This place is an absolute shit hole run by a person who doesn't care about her loyal costumers. I will never step foot in there again. read more

Not a fancy salon but they get the job done et a reasonable price for the Hamptons. Manicure $17 Pedicure $28 Extra $10 for French. Manager and staff always friendly and pleasant to me. If you want a high end salon experience feel free to go to one on the many ritzy spas in the area and spend double! read more

I have been a year-round customer at Hampton Nails for several years and just love this place! Lee, the owner, is always courteous and professional and the salon, itself, is always super clean. PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I should have heeded caution based on all the other AWFUL reviews here. I have been getting gel manicures for 4 years and nails done in general for many, and I can tell you that this place has no clue how to a) treat customers (read: they ignore you and speak in a foreign language over your questions the entire time); b) have no problem telling you that you are the worst customer they have ever had (granted, this is after I told them I would never step foot into their salon again, but I guess the days of good customer service are gone, or shall I say in their case, never existed to begin with); c) incorrectly charge your credit card claiming you tipped on the card even though you tipped in cash and are unwilling to show you a copy of their receipt on which you allegedly wrote a tip amount; d) charge you for "extra" services without telling you that there will be an extra charge and then when you call to question them they tell you "you just don't remember anything from that day," again, these are direct quotes from an actual experience; e) the gel manicure they produced took nearly AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES and 3 TECHNICIANS to complete because they do not know how to paint the entire nail, and they have extremely poor UV/LED light machines, literally one was worse than the other and at one point my entire first coat had to removed and they had to restart the manicure. For what they charge - $40 for a gel manicure, they should at least have updated machines and technicians that know how to properly apply the gel. RUN from this place. I truly hope other people read this review and don't make the same mistake I did. read more
