If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in specifically requesting nail extensions. Not only were several of the extensions applied crooked--so poorly, in fact, that the technician had to remove and redo four of them--but my natural nails were aggressively over-filed, leaving them extremely thin and damaged. The final result? Nails that are actually shorter than my original ones. Completely unacceptable for an extension service. To make matters worse, when I politely addressed my concerns with the manager, she responded with visible disdain, rolled her eyes, and dismissively stated, "I don't care," followed by a sarcastic, "Anything else?" The level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer experience was staggering. I would never return and strongly advise others to look elsewhere. read more

Worst manicure I've ever had and I can't understand why .... it was a simple regular manicure with OPI polish, quick dry top coat, too much oil on top but ok, and then it NEVER dried and left bubbles. If I could give zero stars I would. Miserable people, beyond rude staff, the daughter of the owner is AWFUL. I have never left an establishment in my life feeling this uncomfortable. I asked for a gel manicure removal and they tried to upsell that I needed a manicure which I didn't want and also didn't have time for. When I told the owners daughter that I didn't want that, she made no eye contact and I asked if there was a problem and she literally ignored me and then had the nerve to ask me for a tip. I would never return to this establishment and can't even believe it's still in business after treating people this rudely. I have been a customer that has been coming every three weeks for two years and now I will tell you why I will no longer be a customer at this establishment and never recommend anyone to this place. I called and asked very nicely if they could fit me in for a pedicure and that I know that they're very busy the lady answered the phone said no and then she said 5 o'clock then I said ok and I didn't get to say anything else she hung up on me. I called back she answered because I heard people in the background and I kept nicely saying hello for about two minutes and she didn't answer. I went to the salon and I talked to the woman who owns the salon and whispered not to make a scene and told her what happened and she said oh that's weird because she's nice. The lady that hung up on me tried to touch me and say that the owner is busy. And that I needed to come back another time and the owner did nothing. I walked out. I've been a regular customer at Golden Touch year-round, going in every 3 weeks for a dip manicure and pedicure. Last week they cancelled my appointment the day before. They did the same thing again today and told me they couldn't take my dip off for another week (that would be 5 weeks total!) and didn't seem to care at all. There is only one manicurist who does dip nails well, and it appears she no longer works there. Very disappointing. If anyone knows where Mercy is doing nails now, I'd happily go somewhere else! :) read more

New ownership at this salon. Was hesitant to go back there as previous owners ran a filthy dirty place with the worst manicurists. But so different now. Super clean, Covid safe. Take your temperature when you go in and give you hand sanitizers to use. Plexiglass in front of manicure stations and use every other station. Pedicures have plexiglass between each. Worst salon. The attitude in their is over the top. Not clean. Any nyc salon and nail technicians are better than these people. Kept me waiting for 30 minutes for my appointment. I don't think these are licensed nail technicians- there are no certifications up on the walls. They use the cheapest acetone there is for removing nail polish. Turns your nails white. Horrible pedicure with bare minimum filing and shaping. Then she applied nail polish without base coat and top coat! Told me you don't need that anymore. read more

Do not go here the attitudes and prices are NOT worth the experience. We called to schedule two pedicures and a manicure. When we get there at 3:34 for our SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT they said we couldn't get gel pedicure because they didn't have time and they said they couldn't do my manicure until tomorrow morning but could only take off my gel set today. We were extremely annoyed but gave their salon a chance and was disappointed. When taking the gel off one of our toes the drill was painful and the shaping at the end was not good. The price for a full gel manicure with tip (French tip set) was also $80 that took 3 HOURS TO FINISH. Don't waste your time because the attitude at the front desk was terrible as well. read more
